The service was great. We got the ODB and big e-z. ODB is a must try and the big e-z was very classic (if you are a plain doughnut lover). The reason we gave it a full five stars is because of their MINI option, which allows us to try more things with an affordable price, and not having the urge to finish the whole thing--cause the full size is huge. The only downside was...you gotta pay for the parking now?! There should be some kind of parking validation or something...

I truly can't put into words how much we loved Gourdough's. The only thing I'm more grateful for than the donuts themselves is that we tried it on the very first night of our four-day trip to Austin--because it gave us three more days to go back and work our way through as many flavors as our daily calorie limits would allow. If you saw our many pictures, you'd probably think we went a little overboard... and you'd be right. But every single donut was somehow even more mind-blowingly delicious than the last. Yes, they took about 10 minutes to come out--but that's because they're made fresh to order. And it shows. Each donut was perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside, and absolutely loaded with icings, fruits, and decadent spreads. Every bite felt indulgent in the best possible way--pure, sugary bliss. Parking was a bit tricky at first, but we learned that going later in the evening makes it much easier (and they're open until midnight, which is a huge plus). The outdoor seating area has such a fun vibe, and we loved the playful donut-themed decor. It's the kind of spot that feels just as sweet as the treats themselves.

This place is a fat boy's dream! The lady friend and I stopped in one morning as we were passing through Austin. I did no recon work before I came so I overordered not knowing what to expect. I ordered a Mother Clucker and a Granny's Pie for me and a Heavenly Hash for the lady friend. Then we waited. These are made to order doughnuts! Woah! The Mother Clucker was huge! There was so much fried chicken on top of the doughnut that I thought I had sweet and sour chicken from a Chinese restaurant. I looked in the bag to make sure there wasn't a container of orange color sauce in there. There was a honey drizzle over it all and it sat on top of the doughnut. Even though it was large, the dish was rather boring. Maybe they needed a dipping sauce for the chicken strips. Granny's Pie was delicious. It was a doughnut with bananas, cream cheese icing, caramel, pecans and crushed graham crackers. The lady friend's Heavenly Hash looked great, but I was too busy trying to hydrate in order to not into go a diabetic coma. I don't know how I drove a car after this. I'm glad there aren't breathalyzers for sugar rushes, I would have gone straight to jail! This is not a breakfast food. This is a dessert shop. I am glad I don't live close to where I live, or I'd be even fatter.

Stopped In while visiting Austin. Love the feel with the cute vibes from the plentiful of seating. We chose the McGourdough sandwich and smashing pumpkin. I thought the price was a bit high for the sandwich but then it showed up. Sandwiched between two fresh doughnuts is a massive amount of egg and sausage. I'd def recommend. I had the smashing pumpkin mini. No idea how someone can finish that much sweetness in a full size. The mini was the perfect amount. The iced chai was very tastifully done also. The service was quick and easy on a Sunday morning. Plenty of seating as mentioned.

The best DONUTS in Austin! If you're craving something sweet, Stop by! Sweet & warm nothing but greatness! Service was slow but totally worth the wait! Only 1 employee & he did inform us before ordering that it maybe a wait. I really appreciate him being up front with us! Parking isn't free but super cheap.

The best doughnuts in Austin! I love coming here, I can never finish a doughnut but they also serve minis so I'd recommend starting with a mini doughnut.

Gourdough's donuts are extravagant and have generous portions with all kinds of toppings! They serve both sweet and savory donuts to satisfy everyone. You can also pair them with hot or cold coffee too. I got The Freebird, which has cream cheese icing, cheesecake filling, graham cracker crumbles, and topped with fresh strawberries and blackberries. It was made-to-order, so the donut was still warm and fluffy. The filling and icing were so creamy and decadent. The fresh berries help cut through the sweetness, making it more balanced. Their food truck is parked next to some trees, so you can sit on their outdoor furniture in the shade. It's great to enjoy when the weather is nice and there are patio umbrellas to help block the sun too. They had an inviting and welcoming atmosphere with a cute setup for pics. Service was good and the order came out pretty quick. What a treat!

Every time I come to Austin, this spot is a must-stop for me. Gordough's Donuts never disappoints, especially with my favorite, the Son of a Peach. If you love peach cobbler with cream cheese, this donut will absolutely hit the spot. The outdoor setup adds to the experience, with plenty of seating, good music, and laid-back vibes. I also love that they introduced a mini option, because the full-size donuts can be a lot to finish. Everything always tastes hot, fresh, and made to order. On top of that, the prices are reasonable, service is great, making it an easy place to keep coming back to.

I had the Mother Clucker with bacon and the bacon didn't add anything to it, I should've left it off. The chicken was great, the donut it was on top of wasn't that good, didn't seem very fresh. My husband had the Ron Burgundy which he enjoyed but then had to pull into a gas station on the way home cause he got an upset stomach. (Not a good look for a restaurant.). We also had the special pumpkin donut which was way too sweet and I like sweet things. Overall seemed to be just an okay meal.

One of our friends that lives in Texas recommended this place to us. It is definitely a one of a kind unique donut spot. There's a-lot of great donut flavors to choose from so we ended up ordering 4 minis and 1 regular size. The minis are a great size for one person & even to share. We ordered them to go since it was a little chilly that day but there is plenty of outside seating area for when the weather is nice. We started sampling some on our drive back & of course I forgot to snap some pictures but our top 3 favorites were the Nutty Valentine, Miss Shortcake & Heavenly Hash.

Fresh hot crazy dressed donuts!! Who up for them? When went for the traditional flavors: Nutty Valentine: nutella and strawberry. It was hot and really delicious. Did not disappoint.

First off, the set up is cool. Its a trailer but they have a ton of outdoor sitting/doughnut garden where you can sit and enjoy. These things are not doughnuts, they are doughcakes ! They freshly fry and make all the doughnuts to order, and these things can feed 12. I got the peanut butter and jelly doughnut, filed with grape jelly, peanut butter icing, and pb chips. We came here after eating a huge BBQ lunch, so I was in the mood for something sweet, and boy was it sweet. Even though it was sweet, the doughnut pastry holds up to all the toppings and fillings, and I really have never had anything like it. Everything is truly bigger in TX!

When searching for a monte cristo this came up is there a monte cristo made here?

Not at the food truck location. Maybe in the full service restaurant location though.

Do they still have build your own at the food truck? & why did they get rid of razzle dazzle :(

I don't think so but i May be wrong . It didn't say anything about build your own .

    What are the prices?

They range from $6-$8 depending on the flavor combination. They are huge! I'm a fat guy and love donuts, couldn't finish one!

Why am I going to one in Austin? Well, it's because I am a completeist and I try to go to as many Voodoo Doughnut locations as I can. Austin has two locations but Steve was only willing to tolerate going to one location so we went here. The doughnuts are going to be about the same as any other location however I did come across one that I haven't seen before. I am not sure if it was limited edition or what but I liked it. It was kind of take on a Black Forest Cake but it wasn't cherries that were on top of the doughnut and cream. It was more like blueberries. It was good and I am glad I tried it! I was really hoping to see the Ring of Fire Doughnut as it's my favorite but I didn't see it here. I got more of a powdered doughnut too as I do like their more basic doughnuts too. Steve got something that almost was like a Dubai-esque Chocolate Doughnut. It had pistachios on it and was a chocolate cake. That one was good too! Atmosphere is weird and quirky like all of their locations try to be which I can appreciate. So if you are addicted to Voodoo Doughnuts or have been wanting to try them but don't plan any PNW trips then definitely swing by the Texas locations. More and more locations are popping up all of the time!

The glaze that flakes though moist and a donut that slightly squishes, pops slightly back and has that perfect texture....... And yes Flavor! Perfect Glazed. Well done. A good size and not a weak donut. I did a fancy chocolate cake donut of the Butterfinger kind. A fantastic blend of a good chocolate cake and the touch of peanut from the crisp. A good combo of about 50/50 share of flavor. Focusing on the cake donut resulted in a favorable chocolate cake donut. Freshness is key. Lastly was a buttermilk bar. Good, just good. I know where to get great. You'll have to read my other donut posts to find out where. Just good. Glaze could improve and the complete cool through would be helpful. The dough was alright, not bad. Good ingredients and a nice flavor. On a level of poor, fair, good to great........ Good.

The building is colorful and decorated in bright pink with fun artwork and decor for an uplifting vibe. The line moved quickly and the service was friendly fast and efficient. I was able to place my order and pay with Apple Pay. I ordered the Taiyaki Sundae with black sesame and ube swirl soft serve served in a fish shaped mochi Belgian style waffle with Oreo dust on top. You can customize your sundae with filling like organic red sweet beans, Nutella or custard and toppings like Oreo dust, fruity pebbles or rainbow sprinkles. I ate this on site and the nutty black sesame balanced the sweet ube perfectly, and the Oreo topping added the best crunch. They had a variety of mochi donut flavors. Lucky for me, nothing was sold out today. I ordered the Oreo ube mochi donut and ube milk tea to-go. I ate the mochi donut later that day and it was probably my least favorite item from my order. It had the chewy mochi texture however I didn't get enough of the rich ube flavor. It had somewhat of a bitter aftertaste and the Oreo overpowered the ube. I drank the ube milk tea the next day and it was creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet. I really enjoyed the flavor profile of the beverage and would order it again. Overall, enjoyed my selections and will be back to try more dessert options and flavors from one of the most unique Asian dessert spots in Austin!

Everything was made fresh to order, so there's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it when you get them hot. I tried the Italian cream cake donuts. They have specialty flavors that were $1 more and all of them were appealing to me. Unfortunately, you can not order a sampler pack of different flavors and have to just pick one flavor which is why I am giving 4 stars. My recommendation would be to offer a sampler pack as to not have to commit to one flavor. The pink dog stamped package came with multiple tiny donuts inside. They were freshly made, soft, and served warm. My friend ordered the regular donuts and I have to say that I didn't notice the Italian cream cake flavor as much as I would have liked compared to the original. There was a good balance of sweetness and a creamy, slightly rich profile without feeling overly heavy. The mini size is perfect because you can try a few without feeling like you've gone overboard and it is great for sharing. Overall, Little Lucy's is a solid dessert stop when you want something warm, fresh and satisfying. I would not recommend paying extra for the specialty flavors like Italian cream cake donuts and will just go with the original donuts in the future.
