Quick visit but this has to be the go-to spot for bowling needs. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on how to help you elevate your game. Didn't catch his name but gentleman was nice to clean my Roto-Grip Gem for me on the house. They have all the gear you could possibly need, whether it's grips, cleaning tools, bags, towels and even merchandise to wear to your games. They have an impressive selection of used and new, which I think brings the best bang for your buck. They had a Pitch Black used for $99 un-drilled, a high performance ball for more than half when new. Will definitely be back soon read more

Great service from the staff! I've been a lot of times and it has been great for all of them. Went in to get a ball drilled and they knew everything. Price is cheaper than the bowling shops in the casinos and Haynes does it way better. They give you everything and more for what you pay. Overall great service. Definitely recommend. My family and I raced over here from Los Angeles in hopes of getting some equipment maintenance done. Everyone was so helpful. They have quite a nice selection of balls, bags, shoes and other items that any quality bowler would need. I'd say their bowling balls are pretty competitively priced. Cleaning is completely free! That's unheard of in Los Angeles. Drilling prices are very reasonable here as well, depending on how complicated things get of course. Oh and did I tell you, there's the comfiest sofa to sit on while you're waiting for your ball to be cleaned, drilled, plugged or what need you. Awesome shop!!! I had 4 bowling balls re-drilled 2 of the balls cracked in two, they were stored in my master bedroom closet, so it wasn't heat. I do not leave bowling balls in my car either. read more

Haynes should be your first option when looking for new bowling equipment. balls, shoes and other items and great value prices. The team, Ari and Gary where fantastic and got me the right ball, drilled the right way ( finally, wish I had gone to them first ) and helped me get another ball drilled and fitted properly to my hand. Both people that I dealt with were friendly and offered up great advice based on many years experience with the sport. Definitely will return for my next new ball purchase or shoe purchase. Wish that I knew about this shop many years ago, I would have had a higher average!!! read more

I hate leaving bad reviews, cause I give the benefit of the doubt that it was a bad day, but I got to on this one. Bring in two brand new balls to be drilled. The first ball, purple, pearl hammer, they scratched the hell out of it around the fingertips and didn't even. Put the fingertips below the whole line. Had to shave it off myself. Second ball, they apparently screwed up and had to plug one of the holes. Didn't notice at first, then it cracked all up around the holes. When I took it to another pro shop, they pointed out that had been plugged now it's a worthless doors stopper that I spent 150 bucks on plus the price of the crappy drill. Needless to say, I'll never ever go back. Hope you have a better experience. read more

These are the nicest bowling guys I've ever met in my life. Even though I've never met any I'm 100% sure and positive they are the nicest here. If you're trying to get into bowling, come here and ask away. They are some patient employees here and they will help you. They wont help you get good obviously because thats still all on your and if you think buying some ball and shoes will make you the great lebowski boy are you in for a small awakening. Anyways this place is great....if you're just figuring out if you wunna buy, just buy a used ball. The price is great and you can try with little investment. read more

This is by far my favorite bowling shop, all thanks to Anthony! When my boyfriend and I started bowling so we didn't know much about what type of balls were out there and how to actually throw them down the lanes. Anthony took his time to explain and breakdown how a bowling ball works, helped us with our arm movements when swinging, and talked us through how each ball can be different. He let us choose our first bowling balls and even gave us advice which balls would be best for each of us. Ever since the first day we met him, we've been coming back all the time to get new balls. Brought two brand new balls in for drilling and as usual Jae and Gary were ready and eager to help. Jae got right to it and found my profile and started drilling the balls whilst I waited. The prices at Haynes are comparable to the in house shops the difference is Gary and Jae they both are very knowledgeable. read more

Picked up a ball here, Brunswick Rhino, ordered online and expected it within a week, it came out ready the next day! Got it drilled on pick-up by Anthony, took less than 5 minutes due to my two-finger no thumb bowling style. Recently changed up that style to two handed since the strain on my middle and ring finger were not sustainable, so I came back in to get fingertip grips retrofitted and Anthony again took care of me. I hadn't bowled in over 25 years until I came to vacation in Las Vegas and stayed at a casino where they happen to have a bowling alley. My wife had brought her ball when I mentioned there was bowling in the hotel. So we ended up catching some games. I had such a good time playing again that I decided to buy myself shoes and my own ball. In the years I bowled often, I always used house balls and rented leather shoes back in the 80's and 90's. I never owned my own equipment as money was tight back in those days for me. Anthony at Haynes Bowling Supply set me up with everything. These guys know what they are doing and are passionate about the sport and their work. My brother in law referred me here and I'm glad he did. This is going to probably be one of the best pro shops in Vegas, and their prices are great! They compete with the internet, and some of their prices were matched and even less on many items. These guys gave me a great deal on the equipment I purchased and set me up. Check these guys out when your in the Las Vegas area and you won't be disappointed. This will definitely be my new bowling supply shop when I'm in town. read more

Second time coming here and the guys are always accommodating and helpful. Called earlier to see how busy they were and the guy, who answered my call, said "it was earlier in the day but presently it's good"... came by around 230pm Thursday and I was immediately attended to and took less than the estimated time given (15 mins) to have my new bowling ball triple-holed (my hand:fingers measurement was already in their records:). My fiancé and I recently got into bowling and made it a weekly activity. We decided to get our own bowling balls and found this incredible shop while we were in Nevada. Jay was incredibly hospitable, patient, and an expert in bowling balls. He took his time and went out of his way to answer every question (we had a lot) and also shared helpful bowling tips with us. It's clear that every employee -- we also met Zack and Mark, who we interacted with cared about us getting the right ball that's best for our needs and wasn't trying to just make a profit. We never felt rushed -- it was clear that quality, care, and authenticity is top priority for this shop. Jay and Zack stayed late to make sure we had all the bowling balls we wanted and could bowl with them the same evening. I just love when you come across 5 star service when you least expect it. Here's the situation: My friends and I are birthday shopping to find an entry level performance bowling ball and possibly shoes for a friend who just fell in love with bowling. This is as good as it gets! Service: I wish I would have gotten the name of the gentleman who helped us, he was fantastic! I have some limited knowledge on bowling equipment as I was really into it, but it's been 15+ years since I researched equipment and it's a whole new world. He was so friendly, helpful and didn't make us feel overwhelmed with trying to figure out what to buy. We talked about what type of ball would be best for a two handed bowler just starting out. He knew our knowledge was limited and he never once talked down to us or seemed impatient. He was extremely helpful and we all appreciated this sincerity in assisting us. Haynes had a great entry level reactive ball, shoes and bag special that seem tailor made for what we were looking for. The pro shop was well stocked with balls, shoes, accessories, etc for the most avid and technical bowler as well. This is the place to stop by for new bowlers, pros and everything in between. They are able to cater to all their needs and then some. If I ever took up the game again where I would commit to leagues, this is definitely the place I'd be to gear up. Enjoy...=) read more

I was ready to give up bowling, so I headed out to Haynes Bowling Supply after some research seeing that they repurchase old bowling balls. They were pretty busy as I waited patiently for my turn. When it was my turn a gentlemen by the name of Gary helped me. He was very polite and asked me what I needed. I told him that I wanted to get rid of my current bowling balls because I was having issues with my wrist pain every time I bowled that would last for days. He kindly asked me if he could see my form. I was more than happy to show him if it could be a simple fix. After he saw my form he immediately pointed out a couple of things, specifically my release. I couldn't believe it, Gary explained that the way I was releasing it was causing all the pain issues. He corrected my form and just like that, no more pain. I was pretty shocked. I don't know how many videos and forums I looked through to try to figure out this problem. I couldn't believe he just gave away the information just like that, so I went ahead and purchased some cleaning supplies and a two bowling ball bag from them. I am grateful for the service and especially you Gary. You kept me in the game. I bowled a turkey the same week using Gary's advice(with no more pain!), pretty awesome. read more

I just started picking up Bowling as a hobby with my wife, and we were looking for a stand alone shop to purchase all of our gear. I have to say, Gary and Anthony are super friendly and helpful. They're super informative and I can tell they both have many years of experience in this sport. I bought 2 balls. One for me and one for my wife. Anthony was amazing at helping us figure what kind of ball we needed and what other accessories we would need to start off. I was so happy with my gear I had to come back and have Anthony help me once again to get into a stronger reactive ball. Overall Gary and especially Anthony are amazing. Using a heavy mechanical ride to take out some weird personal issue on a customer is so toxic and incredibly dangerous. Management needs to check whoever was running the controls last night. Zero stars if I could.

There is a dance floor with plenty to space for you to shake a tail feather, and as I can recall, there are three or more bars inside as well. Service was great. We were greeted as soon as we got to the Venue, and at each bar that my friend visited. Thankfully, parking for Brooklyn Bowl was validated inside of the retail store that inside of the Brooklyn Bowl, itself. With that validation, parking was free. Originally when I first started coming here, parking was a huge issue on my mind and it definitely made me come here less, before I discovered that you could get parking validated at the little shop before you leave and that was a total game changer. The venue itself is pretty massive once you get on the main floor, and if you don't feel like standing during bands you don't care for, you can even chill on some nice chairs and watch on TV screens. Now, I can't actually comment on the bowling or food aspect of this place, but you can bowl for an insane amount of money that is definitely not worth it, as well as order some food which I simply never bothered to do. Throughout the years I've seen artists such as Poppy, The Gaslight Anthem, The Ghost Inside, Hatebreed, and many others and the sound here has always been pretty top notch. I no longer call Las Vegas home, but shows are one of the things I would definitely find myself back for so who knows, I might just return here one day and I look forward to that. Overall, Brooklyn Bowl is a great venue in a cool spot right on the Lynq Promenade. The staff here has always been friendly, parking is plentiful, there's tons of food options, and since it's mostly either here or the House of Blues, most music fans will end up here at some point!

There's league tournament that ends around 930pm. There is a line that's and it takes about 40-60 mins to get a lane after that. They don't have cosmic bowling I think but that's okay. They have a small cafe attached and a small arcade as well for other entertainment. Pretty easy to use computer system to enter names and have small list of themes to make your bowling scores pop out and easy to read or fun to see. They don't have other TV's for sports to watch while your waiting which is okay for me.

Overall, the place was clean. They did have lots of lanes to choose from although they did pack us in lane by lane by lane although lots of lanes were open which I wasn't a fan of. We played 4 different games in that time and didn't feel like we had to rush. The only issue I had was with the service. The server had come over right as we sat down and asked if we wanted to order something. My husband had gone to the bathroom and hadn't had a chance to take a look at the menu so I said we'd need some time. The server never came back until we had to flag her down which took a while before she even came back to our area of bays. I ordered a blueberry lemon drop which was really tasty. Although it was warm and sunny, the bays were all shaded and we had plenty of breeze and cooler air from fans so it was comfortable while we played.

They said it was the same pricing in person as online, but it wasn't, by about $10. I was a walk-in and had asked to have a little time before the round started, front desk said I had 10 minutes, so I was fine with that. Then as soon as I got up there an associate was waiting for me and said she was there to get me setup. She pretty much insisted on it, didn't even ask if I'd been there before (which another gal working there said they pretty much tell them not to ask), and it's obvious they are just trying to push people to get started and the hour rolling. No time to settle in, order a drink, or even food. Only after I had gone along with the disclosures and as the gal was walking away, I tried to confirm that the time hadn't been started yet, and she said it had. I said I had been told I'd get 10 minutes, and she brought the waitress over, who then said she could get the manager and he could possibly give an extra 15 minutes, since all that time had been wasted, and the rude manager, Mark, was anything but helpful. He said the person that set me up was wrong, that the 60 minutes began as soon as I checked-in, and made it seem like I was late to the booking, however, I reiterated that I was a walk-on and didn't have a booking, so couldn't have been late. And when I booked, they never provided a time. I told Mark that I didn't feel comfortable being pressured with the time, especially since I was very clearly told that I would be given 10 minutes to get up there and settled in before the time started. He couldn't care less. I had driven over from Summerlin to play for an hour and keep my practice up while i'm away from my home club. It was obviously a mistake to think I could get some practice in, as the impression I got was they'll only care if you are filling the bay with a handful of people... anything less isn't worth their while. And.. they want guests to pay for one hour, while only giving them 45 minutes... to maximize the turnover of people and profits. I decided to cancel and just took off. Not fun to play golf in that type of energy. It's a shame, I really enjoyed TopGolf when it first came out, and it's always been a stop every time I'm back in town. But this last experience left such a bad feeling about the place. I'll give it another shot when they get respectful management and treat guests in a proper manner. If you're used to a country club vibe, I'd think twice before coming.
