Super awesome guys, I came in with 3 balls for drilling and was nervous to drill them since other shops have given me generic layouts in the past. Jon was really cool and informative and gave me layouts that worked with my axis point and made me feel confident that I was getting what worked best for me. Last time I visited and reviewed JB bowling supply 6 years ago, my experience was incredible. Absolutely nothing has changed since then. All the team members were so friendly, knowledgeable and real. They are more interested in what gear is going to make you a better bowler, rather than just selling you the most expensive stuff they can. The store itself is unique for a bowling store, at least as far as I'm concerned. They carry a larger selection of balls, shoes, bags, and more than all other pro shops I've ever visited combined. And best of all, they carry much of it in stock! So you get everything you want same day! If they don't have it in stock, it takes just a couple days to get things shipped in. You can also buy everything online and get it shipped to you anywhere in the country. I ended up buying two balls and again what was incredible is that they were able to drill the balls in just an hour or so, something that is also special about their location. Most pro shops you go to will at least take a few days. They saved all my measurements on file, so next time I need a ball, they can drill it up and ship it out to me out of state. As far as balls go, in addition to the wide selection of new balls they have, they have a couple large racks of used and refurbished balls that are available at an incredible discount. From what I saw, their pricing is also lower than most shops I've been to, which enabled me to buy more than I normally would have been able to. It's been a really trying two years of falling out of the ball or my thumb sticking. None of my 3 local southern CA drillers could fix my problem. Hearing about Jon and his staff from a friend, I decided to visit the store while bowling a Vegas tourney. After Jon measured my hands and flexibility in my fingertips, he corrected my far too wide span (I'm a fingertip bowler) and used the correct size women fingertips. He noted that the reason I kept slipping out of the ball before (no matter how tight my thumb was in the hole) is because it wasn't possible for all three fingers to stay in the ball at the same time. The new fit is dramatic and so much more comfortable. It's no wonder I have had so much arm pain before (see the pic)! Customer service is A++, by the way. I called ahead to let them know I was from California. They were extremely mindful that my time in Vegas was short. By the end of the weekend they drilled two new balls and plugged/redrilled 7 more. Outstanding. They have a short bowling lane to test out the fit. The store is well stocked and their ball supplier is down the street (ie if you need the ball same or next day, they likely have what you need). They have several drillers on staff. In the future, now that they have my specs, I may call them and they'll drill any new balls and send them to me in California. Prices are completely reasonable. Staff is friendly! My boyfriend and I went to look for a roller. We came across a used ball for $90 and that included the price for drilling holes. It was a really good deal. It was about 5:30PM on a Friday and they were able to drill the holes before we left. The guy who was helping us (didn't get his name), he used to be a bowling coach. He gave a lot of insight and tricks for someone who is a beginner, super helpful and friendly. This place is pretty deep in to Green Valley but completely worth the drive. The first thing that stood out to me was the attentiveness and willingness of multiple staff members to help me when I went to the store. I had one guy primarily helping me, and one of the older guys came over and chimed in on what we were talking about, lending his expertise to the conversation. I recently moved to Henderson, and I brought 3 of my bowling balls that were drilled in Hawaii. I'm a league bowler, and really enjoy bowling. I decided it was time to get a new ball, and had a couple of recommendations for JB Bowling Supply. I went in and met John, explained to him what I was looking for, and he gave me a few ball recommendations. He was really nice, courteous, and knowledgeable. The next day I went back, with the intent to purchase and have a couple of balls drilled up. John was not in, but I met up with Paul. Super nice guy and also very knowledgeable. Although I have my old equipment, I wanted to get refitted, and he was happy to assist. He's very patient, and explained everything that he suggested, which made a lot of sense, even to me! Now first off let me say, bowling was never my thing. For whatever reason, I pulled a muscle whilst bowling years ago and steered clear from the lanes since. Until recently, gave it another shot and although I'm not the best, I thought I was aight. BF had to get a new ball after his previous one cracked, which he purchased at another pro shop last week. Guy who sold it was was nice but not comparable to the service we experienced coming to JB. I decided I wanted my own ball because I could never find the right weight/size ball at the allies, even if it's not a busy night. Staff was very friendly and attentive. *Spotlight Paul*, he went above and beyond, answering and explaining any inquiries we had and even offered pointers. We were fitted for drilling which they delicately measured our hands and fingers for, even gave allowance for my nails. I ended up getting the package bundle: ball, bag and shoes. I am IN LOVE with my gold, glittery Brunswick Crown Jewel ball; she's absolutely stunning. Shoes are giving much Skechers x Adidas but are comfy, functional and honestly I ain't mad at it. Both shoes and bag are Strikeforce brand. BF ended up getting a spare ball, shoes and two ball carrier as well. Turnaround time for the balls were quick aside from mine, which they had to order but was ready by the end of the day. In conclusion, 10/10 recommend. Highly suggested to all my friends and family. Jon fixed my fit about a year ago and thankfully I've been able to improve my consistency in release and gain over 30 pins in my average. My husband and I live in California and we recently made the trek to Henderson to see Jon Burroughs and his awesome staff. This time, it was my husband's turn to get a new fit and we needed to have several balls plugged and redrilled over the weekend. Amazingly, with a 10am drop off (we called ahead, of course) all balls were ready to go by 2pm the next day. The new fit by Jon was excellent and my husband no longer needs to fight with irregularly drilled balls (from a different driller back at home). Now the specs are on file so a new ball may be sent by mail in the future (usually within 2-3 days of the order). Jon and his staff are well known by the pros (and those in the know) as one of the best in the Nation for quality fit, knowledge, and service. Bought a ball 8 months ago, they drilled it, it cracked. Called them to get proof of purchase. They outright refused to help unless I paid to ship the ball back to them at my cost. They are undoubtedly doing this to try and prove that the drill had nothing to do with the crack absolving them of any responsibility. They kept saying they had no record even thought I gave them the exact date and price of the transaction. Would not provide proof of purchase after everything, just kept insisting the ball be shipped to them across the country. Avoid at all costs. They will be very friendly when you are spending money and will not help you at all if there are any hiccups down the line. EDIT: No there are no "inaccuracies" in my review business owner. You or your staff could not be bothered to help me when I asked for help. When me and my friends came in spending money every time we were helped. When I called to get a proof of purchase you outright refused to "find" the receipt even though I gave you the exact date and purchase price. The only way to even get you to respond was to one star you on yelp which is proof of the bad business you are. I no longer require your help because Motive agreed to help even though you wouldn't. I don't respond to you because you wouldn't help in the first place. You solely wanted me to ship the ball to you at my cost, find a reason to blame me instead of the drill, like your employee on the phone did, then charge me to ship the ball back. read more

He was enthusiastic and incredibly knowledgeable. Not only did he help me choose a new ball, he took me to his lane in the back and taught me how to throw my new ball. He would not let me leave until I was consistent. It is very rare to find help like that. We ordered a ball for my husband since it wasn't in stock.
