Cake House is easily my go-to spot now for CAM flower. Good deals and the reward points actually add up. I used to go to Theraleaf for the rewards, but after they removed them, I slowly stopped going. The flower selection also feels repetitive now, mostly house brand stuff. Also their top shelf 8ths like fig farms are $55 and $37 on mon/friday but still doesn't beat cakehouse overall in my opinion. I'm a person that doesn't like to spend over 110 for top shelf half oz. Preordering there doesn't really save time either. I still end up waiting 10-15 minutes sometimes. Cake House just feels like the better overall experience. This is a great dispensary with really good prices BUT because I like to order online and just walk in and pick up my order...I am most frustrated with their app. Where you go to filter your search it takes forever for it to look and then usually comes back with "0" products. This basically forces you to go through the entire strains when I just want one specific strain or Brand to look at. Cake House is definitely one of the better dispensaries around for edibles. The lines can get super long at night, especially on weekends, but they move surprisingly fast so the wait usually isn't too bad. They have a huge selection of edibles and it's easy to find something whether you're looking for gummies, chocolates, drinks, or stronger options. The staff is always friendly, patient, and helpful even when it's busy. Overall a solid spot with good service and a great selection. i just moved to the area, and stopped by the other day for the first time. i knew exactly what cartridge i wanted, and as the budtender walked back with it, i told her it was the wrong one. she was SO rude when she explained to me that the company changed their packaging... i genuinely apologized, because i definitely should have asked a question before stating it was the wrong one. she responded "i'll let it slide this time." and i kinda just blacked out after that... i know i apologized a couple more times after that because she seemed really angry and upset by what i had said. then she let me know they dont accept apple pay, so i left and just went to stiiizy, and got the same cart but with normal packaging. also, the cartridge brand i ordered is one of my favorites/i get them often. maybe they have changed their packaging, and i will see that soon... anyway, just all around bad vibes. read more

I read the horror stories and picked with some hesitation. But compared to anywhere else, i think it's still the cheapest/bang4buck dispensary, even with the shady pricing. To give you an idea, Ive ordered 3 different times off their site and not weedmaps. Out of those 3, 2 of them were correct in pricing/what was shown. I'm probably gonna keep coming if they have the deals.. But with the ninja tax, hard to recommend if you're on budget and they hit you with full price. But it's pretty disheartening nonetheless. I bought 4 cartridges for $99.50 total (30% off included): 2 Raw Garden 1g and 2 PurExtracts 1g. They offer 30% off for first-time customers and many items are discounted up to 50%. However, taxes are added on top of the discounted prices, which makes the final cost higher than expected. Weedmaps doesn't show accurate pricing either--it notes that prices may vary, but it's still a bit misleading. I usually pay $38-$40 for a 1g Raw Garden cart in Union City/Fremont after taxes, so l'm not sure if l actually saved here. Also, there's a $3.50 debit card fee, and if you bank with Chase, there's an extra $3 non-Chase ATM fee. Just something to keep in mind when paying. That said, l'd still return-the store has a bigger selection than most dispensaries. My suggestion: include taxes in the listed product prices so customers know what to expect before visiting. The 1 star reviews are over exaggerated though they speak the truth. The prices are pre-tax and do not include taxes on prices. Your total will come out differently than what is shown on either their website or WeedMaps. I ordered a half ounce of "top shelf" flower for $110 through their delivery system, and what I received was straight-up unsmokeable. I rolled a joint and it wouldn't even stay lit -- it ran on one side, kept going out, and produced almost no smoke. I thought maybe I rolled it too tight, so I rolled another looser one. Same exact problem. At that point I realized it wasn't me -- the product itself is bad. The most frustrating part? They have flower on their counters you couldn't smoke even if you tried, and apparently no one is actually inspecting or testing what they're selling. I called to ask for help because I didn't want to throw away about 12 grams of product that literally cannot be smoked, and they told me they can't do anything since the bag was opened. I get the policy, but how is it fair to sell something unusable and then hide behind "opened product" when it turns out to be garbage? If you're going to sell cannabis, at least make sure it's smokeable. I shouldn't have to pay for a half ounce of defective flower and be stuck with it. P.S. This isn't even the first issue. I previously bought another half ounce here that looked crystalized and fire, but tasted bunk and burned with black ash. I didn't complain that time because it was technically smokeable, but it was so harsh and low quality I ended up throwing that half out too. And honestly, for weed of this quality, your prices are unbelievable. Charging premium rates for bottom-tier flower is unacceptable. Two bad experiences in a row. Would not recommend. read more

The service here is usually amazing but after my most recent interaction with "Zach" will be the reason I would suggest finding anywhere else to get your products from. The "deals" aren't worth dealing with the unprofessional and unpersonable service that has been provided most recently. Management itself needs to align on training standards and enforce consistency from top ranks down. Allot of the other bud tenders are good there but it only takes one bad apple to ruin the whole experience. Especially since I've been going to this company since their soft opening. The budtender was really rude and called me a "weirdo" multiple times, just because it took her over 20 minutes to get my online order. I never even said anything to her about it.
