This thrift store is pretty well hidden from the road and located in a row of warehouses that butt up to the railroad tracks. It's less than 5000 ft.² inside, but it sure packs a lot of unique finds. Seniors get 20% off on Mondays and teachers get 20% off on Saturdays, veterans and active military get 10% off every day. The prices here are more reasonable than anything you'll find at Goodwill and the selection is better. They also sell furniture and have three fitting rooms. This is definitely a ministry worth donating your items to since they have quite an impact on the local community. Cash, credit/debit, no checks and all sales final. HCCM does a good service for those in need. But manager resents resellers. She actually raised the price on a $4 item at the cash register to $10 saying it was mismarked and wanted to on a 2nd item too. I can understand they want to get more of "the pie", but they don't understand that resellers also have a lot of costs and how much Ebay takes. And when they raise their prices to Ebay level, they aren't taking into consideration that Ebay has MILLIONS of customers a day many looking for that exact item. They basically pushed me out to focus on garage and estate sales, which hurts them. I used to get lots here every week. They get kudos for their community work, but they don't realize resellers HELP them by purchasing large amounts weekly. But me and others don't think they want our business. read more

I hadn't been in there in awhile I had heard the prices were ridiculous recently so I went in today to see it it was true and possibly maybe find a reasonable priced treasure as I always do leave there with something I didn't need but couldn't pass up and was shocked at the pricing of items ! So much was priced like they are in an overpriced antique store or priced at new value there is just too many to list but I will definately not be back and the sign on the door about when they lock the door is not very inviting. Very rude in my opinion So sad to see how it is run now , it use to be one of my favorite places to go and bring friends when in town that like to thrift. read more

This place WAS amazing but management has changed and they sell on eBay now. The prices on shoes are outrageous (see photo) but most of the non-featured clothing has stayed decently priced ... for now. Soon they may realize they can't get eBay prices in store but we will see. So disappointing as this used to be the nicest thrift store around. Never thought I'd get a better deal at Goodwill! read more

Very nice thrift store in a hidden part of 183. Everyone is nice and the store has a good layout. All items I viewed were priced according and prices were marked appropriately as well. This was a little thrift store in an industrial area off the beaten path. I am always looking for places that are not Goodwill or Value Village and this did not disappoint. I am also looking to gradually replace my synthetic clothes with cotton, linen, and other natural fibers. I was able to find a couple good pieces here at reasonable prices. I was very excited to learn that some new faces would be running this shop but I visited recently and the cost of women's clothing has drastically increased! So many items are jacked up in price and marked ND (no discount), meaning when other things are 50% off these items are not. And to boot the items marked ND are items that used to be designer but are no longer, like Lucky, J. Crew, Banana Republic. These brands are selling at Costco and Sam's. There was a Target brand Marona (long time ago) marked $15 ND. Some of the things actually gave me a chuckle. Clearly the person tagging is someone going by brands that were high end in the past not today. Loft, Liz Claiborne, Anne Klein are a dime a dozen and shouldn't be $12-15 at a resale shop. I'm hoping they get things figured out... Their clothes are always clean and pressed and for the most part displayed nicely. The new people at the front have been very friendly. I did mention this to the checkout girl, she agreed with me on pricing, said she'd pass it on and said they are trying to figure things out. Hopefully they will. read more

This is a very clean and well organized thrift store with proceeds going directly to help the needy. A nice surprise was that one of the volunteers played beautifully on the piano while customers shopped. Very friendly and cheerful. Got a good deal on a brand new sealed in package item! read more

I bought an item that was considered electronic and was told I have 24 hours to return. When I got home it didn't work so I went today on my lunch break to return the item and they said they would give me $10 store credit which I said that's fine and I assumed like everyone else they would put it on a card so I can come back when I am not on my lunch break to shop. They said no you have to spend it right now today to get the extra credit. I told them I could not because I was working and I'm on my break and I don't get off till five. They insisted that I had to do that and would not put it on a gift card and I asked to speak to the manager. The manager told me you can keep your defective item or you can shop for the $10 in store credit today and I told them I don't want the defective item and I am never going to shop here again so basically they kept the defective item and my $10. Do not shop here unless you want to get ripped off. read more

Since the new management change this store, which was once one of our favorites, has changed dramatically. Prices have increased and the staff try to hustle you out of there as soon as it's 5:30 pm. They lock the front door before that so no new customers can walk in, then start yelling that the store will be closing in 5 minutes. The sign on the door and on their website says that they close at 6pm. When we questioned the store closing at 5:35pm not one of the staff there had a thing to say about that, in fact, we then got 3 different times. It's no longer enjoyable to shop there, so we won't be back unless we hear that it's changed. read more

Not sure why this location doesn't have any reviews? This is one of the best little thrift stores in the area. I bought my couch here and every time I stop by (which is often) I always find something neat. The staff here is almost entirely volunteer and they are always helpful and friendly. Clothes, furniture, decor, kitchenware, shoes, medical equipment, sport equipment, and so much more. I also appreciate that they often have free baked goods for customers to take with them as they leave, items often donated by H‑E‑B. read more

This store is usually very clean and things are far more neatly arranged and displayed than at the other large thrift store near by. Prices are good/competitive with other thrift stores and they regularly have good sales. It's my favorite thrift store of all I've visited. Love that it supports their food pantry. read more

This is a hidden gem! It's small but clean and priced really well. The volunteers are all kind, too.

We donate to this thrift store instead having a garage sale. They support the needy in the community which is better than the other larger chain grift stores. Their prices are fair and better than the other hyper inflated. I would highly recommend supporting this organization. read more
