I had tires installed by Sullivan Tire, and about a year later one wheel developed a bead/rim leak…read more At first, I simply added air every so often and didn't think much of it. As time went on, however, the leak became more frequent, and eventually other wheels began showing the same symptoms. When I finally removed the wheels and inspected them, I found that three of the four wheels had very similar issues. All three had bead leaks, and the leaks were occurring at or immediately adjacent to the clip-on wheel weights. Two of those wheels also had additional bead leaks in other areas of the rim. I also noticed that old adhesive residue from previous stick-on wheel weights had been left on the inside of the rims, which made me question how thoroughly the wheels had been prepared and balanced. I've owned vehicles for over 30 years, and while I understand that a single tire can develop a rim leak over time, I've never experienced three out of four wheels developing nearly identical bead leaks. One leaking wheel could easily be normal wear or coincidence. Three wheels showing the same pattern, including leaks right next to the clip-on wheel weights, made me question whether there was a problem with the original tire installation, bead preparation, wheel-weight installation, or balancing process. I brought my concerns to Sullivan Tire because I felt this pattern deserved a careful inspection before assuming it was simply normal wear. Instead, I was told I would have to pay to have the wheels repaired. I was disappointed that the possibility of a workmanship issue wasn't given more consideration before asking me to pay again. Because I no longer have confidence in the original installation, I now have to take my vehicle to another professional tire shop at my own expense to remove all of the wheel weights, inspect the wheels, clean and reseal all four bead seats where necessary, and rebalance all four wheels. I don't believe a customer should have to pay a second time when three of the four wheels develop the same type of problem after the original installation. At the very least, I expected Sullivan Tire to thoroughly investigate the repeated pattern of leaks before asking me to pay for additional repairs.

DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!…read more Brought for oil change. Brought home & immediately discovered it was leaking oil. Brought BACK in for the leak, was told there was no leak! Fast forward 1.5 months to engine damage which MULTIPLE mechanics say was caused by a crack made by Valvoline and then negligence for not finding the leak resulting in $13k damages. "We see this all the time from them. Then they pretend they didn't do it." That's why we brought the vehicle back in! Upon further investigation from other ex employees who have worked at Valvoline, it seems these things happen "all the time" and Valvoline is notorious for not taking ownership. Area manager, Shaun, tells me HE reviewed the camera and found a leak "was already there"...then why didn't you tell us when we brought it in...either time?! They denied a leak and said it was fine! I asked to call him back because he keeps calling me when I'm at work with my patients (even though I specified good times for him to call). I have so many questions! He told me no! 0 professionalism. 0 customer service. 0 humanity. Shaun should get a raise from Valvoline by saving a billion dollar company more money $ and taking advantage of their customers. Shaun was denied the claim without providing me ANY evidence nor allowing ANY follow up questions; I won't even mention the way Shaun speaks to customers. Valvoline allows Area Managers to act as tyrants! They have no compassion for their customers. You have to call corporate, wait behind 12 other callers, then corporate tries to call the "area manager" who doesn't answer the phone. They love to play games, point fingers, and avoid accountability. Beware & go to a locally owned shop. Avoiding big corporations from now on! They love to take advantage of the little guy!

My car was within a few miles of needing an oil change so I stopped by here for an oil change…read moreservice. This is one of those places where you can just pull up to the bay and sit in your car while the work on the oil change is being done. There were no other customers ahead of me so they were able to work on my car promptly. There were two people working on my oil change and there was one more guy there who seemed to be managing the place. Along with doing the oil change they also checked the fluids under the hood as well as my tires and my battery. They added some windshield wiper fluid but all of my other fluids were apparently okay. I did need a new air filter for the car since I hadn't had that replaced in quite a while so I had them install a new one while I was there. The price of the service was just about the same as Jiffy Lube or any other place I had been to before for oil changes. The signs at this location said that oil changes here take 15 minutes and they actually had it done in about 12 minutes so they definitely deliver what they promise. I would definitely consider them for the next time my car is up for an oil change.

The place was a ghost town and the staff still refused, saying it was not worth their time even though I was paying for it. On a different occasion, my wife's car had a flat on the way home so we had to get it patched here. They also did a complementary vehicle check and recommended a new engine air filter. We declined the service and went home. Five minutes after leaving the store, the engine was shaking itself out of the car every time I got on the gas pedal like it was being choked (not a problem before visiting the store). After limping home, I opened the engine air filter box and found a ball of leaves/debris shoved into the airbox, blocking the filter and preventing any air from getting into the engine. After cleaning out the airbox, the car ran perfectly fine as it did previously when I drove to the automotive parts store to get a new engine air filter.

When we picked up the car they charged $1000. more than the estimate. There was no additional work done. It was a bumper! They gave us no satisfaction when I questioned why it cost more than the estimate. They thought they could take advantage of a 20 year old. I do not recommend this place.

I was ultimately skeptical on purchasing but was pretty sure of it after realizing really nothing mechanical is wrong with it. Until after two weeks of waiting for registration and a week of driving it finally was able to get it checked out in a shop. Got a valve cover job done and while we were inside we noticed a half broken bolt stuck and left inside the engine just inches away from the piston heads. Lemon Law was up by then and rest is history.

Since I was getting close to the mileage of needing a complete oil change I decided to go with the full service just so it would be quite a while before I had to get that done again. The oil change took very little time and was done even quicker than I thought it would be.
