Robert Gott used to be a friend of mine until he had my Rzr for 26 months to do repairs on it and still I have the engine light on. Also he stated my car would be inside and there is lots of rusty parts and tree sap all over my wrap Interior had months of leaves inside and dried dirt on the fabric interior. the car went there in perfect condition because it was never stored outside until Gott powersports got ahold of it and it look like it spent 26 months outside. Also there were parts missing off my rzr for some reason. Waiting to hear from the states attorneys office and the BBB to see what my options are. also Will be calling Polaris to file a complaint with them As well. read more

I'm going to have to agree with the other reviews. The people appear nice but not very professional and service sucks. They have a monopoly because there is no other place in Quincy (at least that I know of) that works on bikes. Thus, you're sort of forced to go here. If there were other options, i'd definitely go elsewhere. -For one, the prices are off the charts for the service you get. -You can have two parts being worked on in the same area of the bike and you'll get the same labor charge doubled. (i.e. Change a flat in your rear wheel and tighten your chain. You'd get charged the same amount of labor for both!) -You'll get charged for work not done. (Which can be very hard to prove if it's something like "an oil change."). The reason I say this is that I had some work done but the bolt was stripped. Thus you had to remove the bolt to get the cover off. They say they changed the fluids but the bolt wasn't removed. Not sure how that was done. Then they say they removed the stripped bolt, changed the fluid, and put the STRIPPED BOLT BACK IN! Seriously? Then when I bring the bike back, takes 10-15 minutes for the guy to actually remove the bolt (you hear lots of hammering). If they took it out and put it back in, wouldn't it be pretty easy to remove again? Why all the hammering? Why would they put the stripped bolt back in unless they are trying to force me to come here every time I need a brake flush. Even though the original request was to remove the stripped bolt in the first place. - They don't appear too knowledgeable about fixing bikes. For the prices they charge, everyone should be a pro. Shouldn't take 3 guys to tinker with a brake light to figure out why it's not coming on. - Lack of courtesy calls. If they are over a week late in delivering something, it would be nice to have been called and notified that they are late. Instead, they rely on you calling them There are a few other items but i'm at work and people can read the other reviews. Very disappointed in the place and looks like i'll be renting a trailer to bring my bikes elsewhere unless there are some obvious improvements to the place. read more

I don't own a bike anymore but my boyfriend Jake does. He has been using Quincy Motorsports since they were at their prior location. He has never had a problem and would recomend them to anyone looking for a quality repair shop. The bad reviews say they aren't honest and that they are doing bad business by encouraging people to do some repairs on their own. That doesn't make any sense to me. Anyone who owns a bike should know the basics about them...if not you should not own one. If they were ripping you off they would suggest that THEY do the basic repairs not you. Be very careful of these guys, they'll try to rip you off if they think you know little to no knowledge of motorcycles. I went here with my first motorcycle to get some things fixed and a yearly inspection sticker. The items that they needed to order were a bit expensive but I had to buy it in order to pass inspection. So, that part didn't bother me as much until the actual manual labor that they had to put in it. This is where they work their 'magic' if you're inexperienced in motorcycles. They will tell you that some of the labor will be longer than it actually is. They told me that it took up to 7-8 hours tuning my motorcycle so it can be ready for inspection. So, at $85 per hour and times that by 8 hours, I ended up paying $680 for just the labor part of my wonderful experience here. And they also told me that they did some courtesy stuff to my motorcycle, when in reality, they didn't. About two months later when I came comfortable touching my motorcycle to do repairs and tune-ups, I did exactly all the same things they did to my motorcycle and it only took me 3 hours. Me, less than 3 months experience with a motorcycle and no mechanic experience, did the same work they did, but with 5 hours to spare; these guys are suppose to have 25 years experience? I'm confused now. Which one is it, are they ripping me off or are they slow workers? The moral of this story is, go on youtube.com and/or find website forums with people who ride the same motorcycle as you so you can learn how to do it yourself. Save yourself a couple of hundred bucks. I touch everything on my motorcycle now, but I don't mess around with the clutch or engine, I bring it to a professional, I'll try someplace new this time than here. The man said to me, "It'll take an hour to do an oil change for your motorcycle and plus $20 per quart of conventional mixed with synthetic motorcycle oil (total cost: $180)." Luckily I didn't fall for it. Go to Advance Auto Parts in Quincy and buy 4 quarts of Mobil 1 synthetic motorcycle engine oil (total cost:$40-45) and get a socket set. Take 30 minutes out of your busy schedule and do it yourself; there are two benefits if you do it my way: you'll save $140 rather than let these guys do it and you'll learn something new that day. The two guys that work there are really helpful, nice and knowledgeable but the owners manners leave a lot to be desired. I went there for help with a bent rim and the service guy was really great and after talking to them for about 10 minutes they advised me that it would be safer for me to find a replacement rim. Having an older bike this means finding used parts online. When I came back two weeks later the owner was there and refused to mount the tire onto the rim since I did not buy the parts from them. The owner said they had a blanket policy of not using parts the customer brings in due to liability issues. In most cases I can understand that but when your mechanic tells a customer they need to find the parts themselves they really should make and exception and mount the tire. read more
