Unlike most trainers, he is committed to you reaching your goal and he won't break you to do it. He's works you hard but you always feel good after the workout! His positive attitude and good nature makes the session enjoyable. Definitely a motivator! So hard to find trainers committed to the person! He is truly a good find! He is not stuck on just the machines either. You might kickbox one day and then another jog along side you he next (although truth be known my "jogging" is jog for a little bit and then gasp for breath walking, repeat. Lol)

Went three days a week religiously. We both were members at the local Gold's and had trainers there. We both thought we were in fairly good shape. Yeah, we were wrong. The trainers at PF care, take the time to get to know you, and even in the group setting take the time to correct your form if you are not doing it correctly. The format of the class is go, go, go. Warm up, arms, legs, core, and cool down. They always have Groupons, try it out. And take it from me, don't quit after the first class. Make yourself go back for more. It gets better!

I look forward to working with her every day. Like a lot of the other reviews mention; I don't even feel like I've been there an hour; it goes by so fast! But the workouts are intense and are set up in a way that I always feel motivated to push myself. (More than I ever have before) I am happy to report that I am signing up for a year membership; as well as their 6 week body transformation that starts in a couple of weeks. (Nutrition based). If you haven't found a gym or program that works for you, I urge you to try TF for a month!

On top of which, he's dependable and stays in touch with you if you have any questions outside of class.

Typically, when you're considering joining, you're offered a free introductory class. My first interaction with the front desk was positive, but after that, my experience gradually declined. During my first class, Elena was the instructor. Another new member and I were both first-timers and had stations right next to each other. Elena checked on the other participant multiple times throughout the class but only checked on me at the very end. It felt odd, but I initially brushed it off. On another occasion, I arrived about six minutes late due to rushing. A staff member informed me of the five-minute late policy but still allowed me to join the class, which I appreciated. Parking at this location is also extremely limited, which adds to the overall frustration. One day I forgot my heart rate monitor. Zach and another front desk staff member were present when I asked about it. The other staff member was understanding, but Zach insisted on charging the $10 fee. I've been to another Orangetheory location where a member forgot theirs and was not charged, so the inconsistency stood out to me. This past Thursday, after attending for a couple of weeks, I had an instructor (I believe her name was Beth) who was the first person to actually correct my rowing form and give me helpful pointers. That was appreciated, but it made me realize how little guidance I had received prior. Overall, the experience has left me feeling uncomfortable. As a Black woman, I don't feel particularly welcomed or supported at this location. When I attended Orangetheory in Frontenac, the experience was completely different the energy, the atmosphere, and the overall vibe felt inclusive and encouraging. Although I live very close to the CWE location, I'm strongly considering switching to the Frontenac studio. I love working out, but I don't appreciate or feel okay with how this location has made me feel.

The team here was incredibly welcoming and supportive the entire time. Zach is definitely my favorite! Huge thanks for making me feel at home during my extended stay. The gym was great experience too due to music selection and gender specific steam rooms. Only downside is there is no gym to play basketball in or track to run on. If you've never tried body pump before but want to, Michael B is the best instructor when it come to new folks. Go to any of his classes and learn everything you need to in order to get strong and stay safe. This location also has super new machines as it recently opened last year, so everything feels super fresh. Also, I love that they have a gender neutral restroom/ locker room. I will say this location isn't super family oriented like I've noticed other locations are, but that seems more fitting for downtown as the crowd seems more transient and younger. I've also had generally great experiences with the folks who work at the front desk. Very inclusive, accommodating, and friendly. It's my spot! The only downside is parking downtown can be a drag.
