I just heard the shears go chop chop chop about 3 or 4 times and then she touched up for a few seconds. Lopped it off. Then she used clippers to shave my neck. Which shouldn't have been necessary had she have left it the length I requested. She left the towel on my neck while cutting my hair and didn't put the paper thing around my neck. Hair went down my back and almost went in my pants. Very unprofessional. All of that wouldn't have been a big deal except my hair turned out butchered. I showed her two pictures of chin length bobs. My hair was a little longer than mid neck. Almost to the bottom of where your neck and shoulders meet. She cut it so short it stops at my cheekbones. It is horrible. I had told her I was growing it out. She didn't take the time to listen to me and did a rushed job. She kept saying that she knew what I wanted without really listening or letting me explain exactly what I wanted. I had even left the picture of what I wanted on the table in front of her. I called and said I wanted my money back and she wouldn't give me a refund. She said my hair wasn't long enough for the haircut I wanted, but it was. I only needed a trim. She cut off about 3 inches. I only needed about 1 inch trimmed off if that. I don't understand if I showed her a picture of what I wanted why she wouldn't have said it wasn't long enough. That was her excuse. It was most definitely long enough. Just an excuse for a bad job. She hung up on me when I was telling her to have a nice day. Really rude. You couldn't pay me to get a haircut there again.

She was my stylist for years and I loved her. She sold it because she moved away. I started going to the new owner, Chelsea who was at the time a stylist there. Alicia left her my color formula but not once did the color come close to what I was use to. She would keep me at the bowl, toning me over and over trying to find the color I was going after and it really started getting over processed. I continued going because I thought maybe it was just taking her time to learn me and my hair. That was not the case. The final straws for me was her over thinning my hair when I was growing it out and leaving me at the bowl while she took a phone call. I set there for a while panicking and when she came over, she had to redo it because the color was gray almost. I walked out not happy and texted her that I wasn't happy with how she cut it and the color. I had been growing it out and each time I went to her, my hair was shorter when I left. She thinned it so much on the right side, that it took a huge chunk out and later said that s what I asked her for. Her explanation to me was, that's what I asked her. No mam, I did not. Up to that point, she wasn't thinning, only slightly using the razer on it for direction. She later said that she thought it was thicker than what she realized. When I got home, I did reach out to her and she apologized for it. and the color I wasn't happy with. She told me that my next visit she would fix. This last time, we couldn't find the color I was telling her I wanted because I like a light blond and she kept showing me dirty blond swabs. At the bowl, she said that she wasn't going to tone it. I did like the color but It quickly turned yellow and it started coming out in the shower. When I sent her a picture of what I lost, she told me that if It kept up that I might want to check my thyroid. My bloodwork was perfect and it has continued falling out and is so dry that I can't wash it without adding a conditioner with it to get my fingers through. it. I told her that my hair was in the worst shape it had ever been in and she said it just needed an oil treatment. I have not been back. She justified every concern I had over and over and It's my fault for going back over and over. Its just so hard finding a stylist and I was hoping that she would learn. Now I am dealing with hair loss everyday and even reached out to a dermatologist for options. I'm now on a medicine to try and grow back and I have found another stylist who is doing her best to save my hair. It is very thin now. She had a lot of personal things going on and I believe she was, is so preoccupied that she really was just going through the motions to get me in and out. I've had to shorten my experiences and trying to give key points. Please don't go to this salon and use her. Research before allowing anybody to touch your hair. I am devastated over my hair and the loss I experience daily and I don't want anyone else to suffer as I am right now. Chelsea over processed and over lapped the bleach to get me to this point. I was visiting from out of state and had made the mistake of coloring my own hair prior to my trip. Big mistake. So, upon a recommendation from a friend, I viewed a recent before/after on their Facebook page. I was stunned at how similar the hair of the client on the page was to mine. Then, to see the "after" pic was EXACTLY what I wanted. So, I contacted the salon hoping they would be able to squeeze me in because I was leaving town today. They put me in touch with the stylist/colorist, Vanessa. I cannot say enough good things about her work! She has a gift. My hair was basically orange and brassy and she corrected the color and tone, gave me a much needed cut and now my hair is soft, silky, glossy and beautiful! I feel like a new woman! She was so patient and took her time to really care for my hair. We had such a nice morning...She asked what I wanted for the final result and we discussed different options along the way. She told me exactly what she was doing through all the steps, which reassured me. I couldn't be happier! I had an opportunity to watch all of the other staff through my morning and it was clear that all of the ladies and their clients were very happy and committed to each other...taking the time to ask about families and leaving with smiles on their faces. Fast forward 5-6 months she has opened up her own business here and is doing what she loves! She offers specials for first time guests as well as occasional deals. Honestly I have yet to find any colorist that does as well as she while keeping prices affordable/reasonable . I went back in December at this new spot and it is perfectly charming with a cute boutique in the front that offers clothing, jewelry and more. I'm planning to come back to see her soon, totally worth the 45 min drive!
