What concerned me is that the staff stated they could not provide the prices of the DHPP or rabies vaccines over the phone. They said I would have to come in and pay the consultation fee first before they could tell me how much the vaccines cost. This policy doesn't make sense to me, as vaccine prices are basic, standard information that most clinics are willing to provide upfront. It gives the impression that the clinic wants customers to come in first, possibly to justify higher or unexpected charges. As a pet owner trying to budget responsibly, this lack of transparency is very disappointing.

I let her know we were going on 3 hours of waiting and that if we would have known it would take that long we would have rather rescheduled and returned at a later time. I let them know it was understandable if they were booked, but that it would be professional of them to let the customer know that. The receptionist was not too receptive of my request. Lesson learned on my behalf, schedule an appointment if you want to go there. Veterinarian did speak to us and was very professional and apologetic unlike the receptionist.

They were transparent, helpful, and quoted me over the phone without any issue, which immediately put me at ease and made the decision easy. Once there, the visit was smooth and professional. They took care of my dogs' vaccinations with no problems, and the staff was efficient and caring throughout the process. Transparency and good customer service are hard to find, and The Weekend Vet delivered both. This is officially my new veterinary home.

(I have medical records that verify this.) They kept her all day and when I picked her (after paying over $1000), she was overly sedated and could not walk, eat nor urinate for 24 hours. The wound opened up later that evening despite minimal movement on her part. (See photo). I took her to another veterinarian who repaired the damage and my greyhound was alert and awake within the hour, for less than $100. Lopez has not passed any exam that allows him to be a certified veterianian technician, much less a veterinarian in the United States. His title should be assistant technician with restricted responsibility.

The 3 dogs were returned to me with ticks and fleas, and the larger dog had a pressure wound where he had lay on his side for 3 days without being taken out of his cage. In addition the two smaller dogs both had injuries inflicted to their genitals that caused them to bleed when they urinated. Since the small dogs are fixed direct inflicted injury was the only possible conclusion. I brought the condition to the attention of the vet and the front desk help did change. Due to the great lack of good vet care in this area I tried to work with this Animal Medical Clinic, only as of today the front help lied to me about the last date of a heartworm test on my dogs and the cost of the procedure. They increased the amount of the charge and claimed that a test had never occurred by them despite me having a receipt for the test, again the problem is the front desk help.
