Max, the only employee working at the time was very helpful and wasn't pushy which I definitely appreciated. I told him what I was looking for and told me about their weekend sale. He was very knowledgeable. He told me if I ever needed to place an order that they could mail it to me instead of having to drive an hour to their location. I'm sure one reason they've been around that long is because of the great food a great service. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I've stopped in several times when passing thru Marble Falls and have never been disappointed. They have everything you can think of-- alternative organic vegan health related; even crystals, books--you name it. Also, they have a kitchen that serves up fresh health food daily--what must be the best tasting health food I think I've ever had. This place feels like home. Almost makes me wish I lived in Mineral Wells. Everything is Gluten Free and Dairy Free--even the sweeties. So, if you have any food, allergies or sensitivities, this is the place. They also offer all kinds of health and healing modalities and therapies in the back. I'm usually just passing thru whenever I stop by, so haven't checked out their other services yet, but they do have an online sight where you can find more info. The frozen entree dishes are my fav. Prices are reasonable for this type of fare--except certain supplements I found in the apothecary, I thought are a bit overpriced, IMO. But on the upside--if there's something you need they probably have it. Regular parking is usually no problem with plenty of spaces out front just off Highway 281. If, however, you're like me, pulling a travel trailer or driving a big rig, then the best option is to park on Northwood Drive where there's plenty of free street curb parking available and then take a short walk to the store. Though I hit the gym regularly, I am somewhat outside of the weightlifting culture but know enough to identify that the guys working here are legit. Brother: "Only way to run--if you know what you're doing." Employee: "Exactly. What are you looking for?" Brother: "What you got?" Employee: "Energy or pump?" Brother: "Pump." Employee: "Ah--" *knowing nod* "pump." He then led my brother to some colored bottles in a cooler, explaining what he preferred and why, as well as what is the most popular formula and why. Overall, eh offered professional customer service, of course, while retaining his manly terseness. My only criticism of Nutrishop is that it might intimidate those who don't know a thing about pump or Vibrams but just want to buy some cheap protein powder (namely me). I'm certain, however, that if one can "(wo)man-up" enough to get his or her butt in the door, Nutrishop will be able to field all your questions and have the products that you're looking for.

I was running out and stopped by the pharmacy to see if they had anymore that I could buy since it helped me remember them during the grieving process. They didn't have any at the store saying they no longer carried that lip balm and offered me an alternative but when I told them I was looking for that particular one since it reminded me of my departed parents, several staff asked me to wait and they went into their warehouse to see if they could find me any remainders. Luckily they found a few and wouldn't take any compensation for them. You are lucky to have a store like that in Austin with such compassionate staff.
