Easy booking! Fast response via Yelp and VERY accommodating! I just had a 90 min deep tissue massage with Luis. He's exceptionally talented. By far it was the best massage I've had in my life. It was a comprehensive massage that included deep + sports + lymphatic drainage + stone + Thai/stretching + magic. He also used different oil and balms. They were very aromatherapeutic! Hollee did such a great job on my partial highlights today. My hair was definitely in need of some TLC before I went in (salty, frizzy, tangled), (wish I had taken a before picture). Holly does an amazing job and was able to squeeze me in last minute, especially with it being a Saturday and salons recently opening up post quarantine. I can't believe I've never left a review! My friend was just asking about a hair salon on Maui, so I had to look up the address on yelp to share with her. My friends mom originally recommend Head to Toe, to me. She would get her bangs cut here and I loved how it looked so I ventured in one day with my sister & would always come back when my hair got too long. I would even get the same haircut! Haha! I always go to Colleen for my layers. I don't know what she does but she always does it well! I can never get anyone else to replicate the look. I've been told by other stylists my hair is just too straight and asian to have my layers pop but Colleen would always get mines popping! Her personality is fun and always a pleasure coming here. Of all the times we've been to Maui, the day of my destination wedding (2 1/2 hours before the ceremony) would include a huge fire that shuts off the electricity for an hour, no wifi, no internet, no cable, and Highway 30 shuts down between Wailuki and Maalaea. Colleen was put through the test for sure! She finished my nails, and my hair was almost done before the lights went out. She worked on my hair as fast as she can before the curling iron is no longer hot! And the lights finally came back on half way through my makeup session, so she was able to put on the finishing touches. It was a windy day, so she recommended that my half-up half-down hairdo does not have any little curly strands near my face so that it wouldn't be in my face during the wedding and while taking pictures. By the time I left; I felt like I had known both of the girls for longer than just a few hours. I went to Colleen for my wedding hair in Maui. I sent her a picture of a mermaid braid ahead of time and asked If she could do it. She said yes. Well when I got there I also came prepared with a YouTube video as well. I was a bit nervous because she seemed anxious and didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. I brought in $200 hair extensions of really great quality and she didn't seem very experienced in that area. She kept asking me should I do it like this? Is this how the video shows? She kept blaming my hair or the extensions. But It wasn't exactly like the picture. She did her own thing. At one point it looked nothing like the picture or video and I had to give her so much direction that I called my fiancé back to come pick me up so we could go somewhere else. So he saw me on my wedding day!! But by the time he got there, it was starting to look decent. The only reason I didn't leave was I would've been late for my wedding and I couldn't risk that. She made it look decent. I felt some hair extension clips showing and at the bottom she did a weird braid but it held up. Her equipment out be updated. Her curling irons are pretty old and that could be why it wasn't holding curls. Also her lack of using products except for hair spray at the end. I had like 50 Bobby pins when I took it all out. Colleen seems like she might be better at prom styles and not wedding. She doesn't do modern curls. She does prom curls. I did my daughter's hair similar and i don't have hair experience. It cost with tip about $105. If I could do the day over I'd probably pay more and go to a more modern place with more experience with wedding hairstyles on all hair type. read more
