Got a gift certificate for my birthday from my fiancée and was so excited to be given a gift certificate with so many options! For one of my services I got an amazing pedicure from Stephanie who clearly had a ton of experience as I later found had been doing it for 14 years. Everyone I talked to in the lobby were regulars there for massage and facials and steam rooms. Everyone raved about it and now I see why. My problem with other places (I.E. gene Juarez who Ive yet to have a good experience) is that they never fully get my calluses and touch skin, or the file them unlike what I had asked for, or the massage was less than however Stephanie did amazing and I will for sure have this be a regular place for me. read more

It's been a while since I've been to Head to Toe so I forgot how wonderful this place is! I love that they always give me a warm neck wrap with my pedicures and that they will let me bring my own nail polish. My half leg wax was quick, comfortable and relaxing. I know. . . I was surprised too so I will be getting all of my future waxing done there. I didn't use the steam room last time I was there but I am excited to next time I go. The products and services offered with their steam room are very reasonable. I am a fan of the Jane Iredale mineral makeup line which they use for their makeup services. They also sell it and they have a really good selection of her products. Head To Toe is my go to day spa! read more

Fabulous place for a long and indulgent pedicure. The place is small but absolutely beautiful, clean, warm and inviting. Greeted promptly and offered hot tea. Wonderful foot massage and attention to detail. I'm going back today for another! I'm also going for a massage tomorrow, as last time a client recommended I try one. I will report back! read more

I love this Spa! I have had many services here (all of which are fabulous) but I must say that I LOVE their massages! They are extremely welcoming in the reception area, and it only gets better from there. Each massage starts with an amazing "foot soak" where your massage therapist hits all of your pressure points. After that you are invited to cozy up in their plush massage table equipped with heating pads and fuzzy sheets. I have been seeing Ashley and I have to say that my body has never felt better. She seems to always know the right amount of pressure and where my back needs it most. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic massage, and the spa in general for any service. This review is not for the service, but about how the spa was negligent with a gift certificate we purchased for someone. I was sent in by my wife to purchase a gift certificate for someone at our daughter's school. it was a pooled gift, so I paid the $150 that we collected from all the parents, got my gift card and left. I found out later from the wife, that the gift card was for a different volunteer, so we changed the name on the gift card and gave it to the correct person. Months later, we got a message from a different person involved with the school, in which they stated upon checking out at the spa for a recent treatment, they had a credit on their account and thank you for thinking of them. We were both shocked as to why she had a credit from us, but then realized the spa attached this gift card to her account. The action of applying this gift card to an account was never stated to me or implied when I purchased the gift card, so definitely caught off guard. I called the spa, explained the situation, and they rudely told us there was nothing they could do. I was shocked not only at the rude nature of the staff, but the misleading practice of just adding a gift card to someone's account without explaining or confirming the identity of the recipient. And the name is a fairly common name, so it could have been another person with same name too. Warning to potential clients to purchase gift cards carefully and the overall rude nature of the staff. PS We ended up buying another $150 gift card for the correct recipient with our own money. Will NOT recommend this spa to anyone. read more

I had a gift certificate so I decided to go in for a classic facial and manicure, and both were excellent. The experience was so relaxing... a great massage with both services, super knowledgeable and friendly staff, and no pressure to buy anything extra. I had my lashes curled on Sunday and they are barely curled at all. The lady who curled my lashes was so kind and comped the service but honestly it was just a huge waste of time & I don't see why I would return. It's in a convenient location for me but if they can't get a simple lash curl right then I'd rather go out of my way at another spa. read more

I just went to the spa for a birthday weekend with my best friend who was visiting. It was fantastic! I was looking for a full spa experience without the "big spa" scene. We had five hours of a lovely experience. Started with the steam room and salt scrub (so nice), great massages and facials (lunch in between), wrapping up with the best spa pedicure I've ever had. Wonderful! I started with the steam room with salt scrub which was awesome on such a cold morning. When finished Alexandria brought me to the room to get my facial. The bed was soft and cozy. Alexandria asked questions to asses my needs and began a wonderful treatment including neck, head, shoulder and hand massage. My face was pampered with scrub, mask, moisture and massage. Alexandria suggested a toning pad to help with some facial trouble spots which I bought and she gave me a moisturizer sample to try. The atmosphere was lovely and Alexandria was great. I had the worst massage of my life here! The therapist had a hang nail and was scratching me with every move. OW. Also I scheduled a last minute express 30 minutes massage and she gave me 15 minutes and said the rest of the time was for getting dressed. Really? It was short, painful and not relaxing at all. A very lame experience. I mentioned it to the scheduler and she pretty much blew me off. I have lived in west Seattle for 15 years and love to support local business.I really don't like writing negative reviews. But I feel people should be warned about this place. They might be packing their schedule too tight and not caring about clients like they should these days. read more

I finally worked up my courage to have permanent eye liner done in November, 2018. I had 3 friends recommend Joni at Head to Toe. I was so nervous to make this commitment. I do not have any tattoos and have no experience with this type of beauty service personally. I was so happy with the results. The spa was so cozy, friendly, clean and welcoming. The service was not as painful as I thought considering it was my upper and lower eye lids. Joni was so precise and comforting even when it was a little tricky for me to relax because I didnt know what to expect. She guided me through the service and helped me with managing any discomfort. I let her decide what would look best and I have been thrilled with the results. The after care that Joni prescribed went well and within a few days my eyes looked fabulous as promised. I decided to come here for my wedding mani and pedi because of the great reviews. Unfortunately, based on the reviews and my experience, they aren't as good on nail care as they are with other spa services. The person that did my maid of honor's nails was really great. Great personality and did a fantastic job! Sadly, the person assigned to me, was the opposite. She seemed bothered to be there and did a sloppy job on my manicure. My pedicure was good. However, I'm not sure why she did such a poor job on my nails. She barely shaped my nails, left the tips jagged. She did not clean up my cuticles and when I asked her to cut my cuticles, she begrudgingly agreed but then barely cut away anything, leaving many hanging pieces of cuticle. When she painted on the shellac she went outside of the nail bed and didn't clean it up which lead to the shellac peeling before I left. She ended up re-applying shellac to one nail to fix the entire thing from peeling. When I did leave and was in my driveway, more of my nail polish was peeling and lifting. My maid of honor called the salon and asked for a refund on the manicure. The manager did refund the price of the manicure without a problem, which, was the only good part of the entire experience. Not worth the price by a long shot. Today I got a new shellac at the little nail spa by my home. The person was incredibly attentive, did a far superior job and it was about $10 cheaper. read more

Allison has such a great energy and really took the time to make my experience relaxing and exactly what I was looking for. I loved that I didn't have to pick a specific facial , she listened to my concerns and needs and put together a service based off that. Its been a few days and my skin feels wonderful.
