I tried this salon because they use Eufora products which are not toxic and of high quality. I tried to make appointments with Gail who is an owner, and she cancelled twice. She referred me to Nicole because she decided not to take on new clients, which I wish she had said originally. Nicole was outstanding, and this less than glowing review is not a reflection on her abilities at all. She spent a good amount of time on the initial consultation, and did everything I requested with my color perfectly. The neck massage during shampooing was fantastic. I think their outrageous prices are my biggest issue. I have been to top salons in San Francisco for less. I found another salon in Vista that does exactly the same thing with the same product for over $100 less! Save your money and go to Bleach and Brawn. read more

I have been going to Headlines for 26 years. I was thrilled to be able to have my hair cut and colored. The new process because of Covid-19 was so easy. The salon is so clean. I was not st all concerned. Knowing Gayle the owner I knew it would be more than safe to go there. They took my temperature. Everyone was wearing masks and the chairs are set up so the stations are more than 6 ft apart . The stylist Andrea was exceptional. I went yesterday to get my hair cut. My hair is shoulder length. I just wanted it cut a little more blunt to fix my damaged pieces. I am left with a horrible haircut. I am so embarrassed to look in a mirror. They did their best to fix it with a different stylist in which I am so grateful for. But I am so sad that I have to live my life with this hair cut. I have been stripped of any self confidence. I am hoping to invest money into extensions to add confidence back into my life. I just want to cry. I am so devastated. I look like a member of the Beatles with this haircut and extensions are the only thing I have left to try to add confidence. I do NOT recommend anyone go see June. After a month of painfully growing out my eyebrows (IMO it's a huge struggle when applying makeup having beastly brows) I did not want to Make the same mistake of trying a new place and having my Brows messed up AGAIN! When I got to Headlines I was immediately greeted and asked on multiple occasions if I wanted anything to drink. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I had not gotten highlights in a long time and wanted to lighten my hair a little. When I sat down, Hannah asked all of the right questions to figure out exactly what I wanted! Since I am getting married in November, I wanted to come in early and have my hair done to make sure it looks right on my wedding day. I love Mariana! I can say I have been getting my hair done for over 25 years now, and she is one of the few that has managed to not only obtain the color results I want, but also keep my hair healthy and that is not an easy task as my hair tends to get very brassy and I keep asking for ashy blonde, this girl works miracles on my hair. My hair feels soft and manageable, yes! Even after getting it very light highlights. I moved to Carlsbad less than a year ago, I am just glad I was able to find her, she has made my life a lot easier. She always listens to what I ask for and want, she also provides useful insight in how to upkeep and maintain my hair.
