It is a really nice place but the shining star was my stylist, Danielle. I loved that she listened to what I wanted, looked at my pin board on pinterest then gave me her suggestions to help me get the look I wanted. She quoted me a price which was more than I have ever spent on hair but after years of boxed hair coloring I was a mess and needed alot of color correcting. Well worth every penny! Danielle is so sweet and a lot of fun to talk to. No pressuring me into services I didn't want or need and no pressuing to buy their product. First time at Headlines today- had a haircut with Sean after both my mom and sister raved about his hair skills! Happy to say they were right- I have curly hair that most stylists cut and style straight, which never gives me a good idea of how it actually looks (or the best cut). Sean was very knowledgable about curls, didn't take off too much length, and showed me how to style my hair quickly and easily, which is all I would do anyway! The main reason I came to Headlines is to have Whitney do her magic once again. Whitney did my hair for my wedding back in 2013 and continues to be the only one to cut it. I came into Headlines Salon for the first time on 10/04. The salon was beautifully kept, clean and fresh. The staff was inviting and friendly. I was impressed and kind of loved that there were clients of all ages! My appointment was with Summer, who is my all time favorite hair stylist! I've been with her for years and she always keeps my hair looking like I've found the fountain of youth. She's the master at hiding my horrendous grays, and she keeps me looking at least a decade younger than my actual age. I love that I can trust her to know when my color should go lighter or darker depending on the season. She's the sweetest and so knowledgeable about hair, which I love, because she always makes me feel comfortable when asking I ask her about hair questions! Hey there, Just went and tried out this salon. First off, the girls greeted me at the front along with my son who is 1 years old and made him smile a week prior to having my apt. Second I came back in for my apt. Genesis was my stylist. She was very sweet and i felt like she really took the time to listen to what I wanted, let me show her a skew of pictures I had and then went on to finding the right base for my faded vivid red hair that i wanted to bayalage in other words "ombre". Third I always have a problem going to salons because I do hair myself and once the stylist knows its usually downhill from there or its like butting heads with the knowledge each of you knows, or you are put on the back burner because I should understand I do hair . This certainly was NOT the case by any means. She was not intimidated and had a swagger all her own. I loved it! I got to relax and close my eyes for a change. (YES,EVEN HAIR STYLISTS NEED THEIR HAIR DID AND WANT TO LOOK GOOD TOO) I love my girlfriends but I hate having to explain and mix things when all you want to do is sit down and not have to think or make a decision. Fourth, I really liked how she took her time as I know some stylists just throw on color so fast you didn't even get to finish your glass of water. She was so attentive and really made me feel like I was important. Lastly, I love how headlines has assistants for when they need an extra hand and or need more color or just in case the stylist grabs something and you need to tell her something really quick. Will, I believe was his name and he was so nice and really attentive to all of the techniques Genesis was showing him and not to mention gave an amazing shampoo and blow dry. I will definitely be going back! Genesis was a doll and I had an amazing experience at Headlines. I am glad a girlfriend who does not do hair recommended this hidden gem.
