I was hoping for a LOT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not only would I need assistance with sizing, but I would need feedback on other important details as well. (I want to preface that over the years I have shopped at many places and have come to realize that the sort of customer service I am looking for is possibly unrealistic. Even in some places, where I have been, where they actually do give customers more attention, it has its limit. If they answer your questions, they are distracted. If they help you with sizing, they do it casually and not carefully. If there is a problem with a suit, they say, "Oh, it's fine! You can just do XYZ to make it work," instead of taking the time to find a better option. Basically, I had high hopes to find something more than the stores I was used to.) Upon walking in to Rielo, I first told them that I was looking for a few pairs of pants. They responded courteously, measured me, and gave me multiple pants so that I could find which ones fit best. For many of these pants, I asked for feedback with sizing and overall look. To my delight, they were always happy to assist me. They offered advice on everything I asked about, as if it were just as important to them. It was a pleasure that my inquiries were being given so much undivided attention. My goal became theirs. I knew that I would be getting fitted pants that also looked great. We narrowed the options down to the best ones, and then discussed how many of each I would like. Next, I told them that I needed suits. After being measured, I tried on a number of jackets, to find which of them fits the best. (By doing this, I realized that they didn't just want me to have clothes that more-or-less fit, but they wanted me to look my best.) I told them I wanted their honest opinion about sizing and the overall look regarding the suits, and they came through like before. They noticed what didn't fit or didn't look so nice on me, even when I didn't pick up on it. They went to get more options, even if it meant they would have to look around more. I could tell that they were being honest when they said something was good. Soon enough, I had the best suits and pants. Truthfully, I was a little nervous about HOW MUCH EVERYTHING WOULD COST. I was a little desperate for more clothing and was short on time to go anywhere else. So I felt that under the circumstances I would have to stretch my wallet. However, I was surprised and relieved to hear that this was not going to be the case. To get a sense of my price-expectations, I am used to spending $20 on pants that are decent quality and are not fitted so well. The pants I bought at Rielo were $30 each. For me, the $10 extra per pants was spent on excellent customer service to ensure the pants were fitted and looked good, and on the quality, which I could tell was much better than I was used to. Well worth it! Regarding the suits, I still remember what it was like to get a good quality suit at Syms for under $200. Since they closed, I have not been able to bring myself to shop at the pricey places and have been buying decent suits at a bargain. Today, I found that I could once again buy a real, good quality suit for under $200. (That is what each suit cost me.) While I was there, I was asking them about their store, and they told me about how their goal is to provide GREAT QUALITY clothing at a reasonable cost. For myself, I found that to be true. They told me about how they do extensive research in order to give the customer the best selection. One of the workers there even went to Italy to examine different black hats. He went there to find black hats that match the high end ones but that only cost half as much to the customer. They indeed found such hats and have them at the store. To wrap up, I encourage others to see for themselves the superb customer service at Rielo. Since they also offer quality clothing at a reasonable cost, you're not even sacrificing anything for the service! This is my new place to shop for clothing. I only wish I had been shopping here already.

They have a good selection of suits, sport coats, dress shirts, and other essentials you'd expect from Brooks Brothers, especially if you're looking to pick things up at outlet pricing. I was specifically looking for sport coats and wound up purchasing four. They had a decent range of sizes and styles available, which made it fairly easy to find options that worked. Layssa assisted me during my visit and was very helpful throughout the process. She helped track down sizes, checked inventory, and arranged to have three of the sport coats shipped directly to me, which were out of stock in my size in the store. Pricing was in line with what you'd expect from an outlet location. Not cheap, but reasonable for the quality. Overall, a smooth shopping experience. If you're in the area and looking to update your wardrobe, it's worth a stop.

A few years back Macy's mens' department was well staffed, and one or twice a year they'd have a wonderful sale on Ralph Lauren suits and suit separates, and I treated myself to these every couple of years. No more - the men's suit / slacks / jacket department is a poor facsimile of what it used to be. Very limited selection, incomplete assortment of sizes available across the few lines they carry now. Also such sparse staffing that it seems like there's one guy primarily there to run the register, but nobody knowledgeable to measure you or advise on style and fit. Jos. A. Bank is definitely a step up in experience, but the selection is pretty limited. Men's Wearhouse seems to be a variant of the same model: ok, but limited. Searching for alternatives I tripped across Brooks Brothers at the Jackson, NJ outlets. I knew about this years ago and it's only a half hour drive for me. I had just stopped even thinking about the outlets there several years ago. So -- still needing a suit or two, I drove to Brooks Brothers in Jackson, and had a fantastic experience. Unlike the post-apocalyptic feel of virtually any store in a mall (especially Macy's and Penney's it seems), Brooks Brothers is well laid out with numerous items on display. The store is clean, well lit and well maintained. I didn't have to wait for a person at the register to free up and talk to me (as you must in Macy's and Penney's): as soon as I got to about the middle of the store a salesperson (Niobe) came over and asked if I would like help with anything. I told her I was there for a suit, and we got right into it. We homed in on my size and general description of what I was considering, and she led me to the racks with suits that fit my specs. Instead of interminable searching to find anything that would fit me, she located several options for me to consider over the next 10 or 15 minutes. Unlike Penney's and Macy's, where the dressing rooms look more like a men's room at NYC Amtrak Penn Station where a homeless person might be living, the dressing rooms at Brooks Brothers must be unlocked by a sales person - so they're empty, clean, well lit. Delightful! This is what it used to be like to shop for men's clothing - I had almost forgotten. Instead of struggling to find anything I might like, as I had in every other store I had visited before this, I had really only come out today for one suit, and wound up having to decide between several - all of which looked great, were well made and well priced. The sales person who helped me, Niobe, was great. Pleasant, knowledgeable, professional, and attentive -- I didn't have to chase her around the store as I did with sales folk at every other store I had visited. All in all -- an excellent experience all the way through. The store and selection is fine. The product is very nice (Italian wool, half canvassed construction, nicely stitched seams), hangs very naturally and moves nicely. After all the frustration at other stores, this was a breath of fresh air. Great experience, came home with an excellent suit (will only need very minor tailoring) at a great price.
