The blonde manager was extremely rude to me on Sunday. Much like another review from July, I was…read moreasking to exchange an item that my daughter received as a Christmas present. She was away at school and didn't bring the coat with her. When she returned she realized that it was too long on her but she wanted to see if she could get it in a petite or smaller size. I looked online and saw that the coat was still being sold online and in the stores, so I figured I'd just exchange it or get a store credit for a similar item. The deadline for returns from the holidays was 1/31/26. I came in early on 2/1/26. When I called customer service they explained that they could accept the return but they just needed the manager to agree. When I explained all of this, this young girl said, "Well I already spoke to (someone) about this before. They said it was at the manager's discretion. I'm the manager and I say 'no'." She seemed quite impressed with herself and smug when delivering the disappointing news. No, "I'm so sorry but..." or any empathy. Luckily, I was able to find a less immature manger on a power trip as this young girl at another store who warmly communicated understanding and granted a store credit. She was empathetic and helpful and even shared a coupon for my daughter to use in the near future. I could not also help to notice that the overall "vibe" in this store was dramatically different from the one in Freehold. The Freehold store was disheveled and there wasn't anyone in the front to greet customers and no one at the register either. I had to interrupt a conversation between 2 employees (who I wasn't even sure if they worked there) to get some assistance. And again, no apology, rather an attitude that I was bothering them. I do like the clothing and products from this company but this store is terrible.
