    Orchata cold brew

Location: North Kansas city Ambiance: Vitange vibe, artsy. Food: Coffee is great. I went for the cold brew but my wife had the machiatto and liked it a lot ( she is Colombian so her standards are high) They also offer some pastries and burritos. Service: very good. You order at the counter. Most people use drive thru

First time visiting this location. Cute small little building. Staff were friendly and polite. They let us take our time since we didn't know the menu. They have a new summer menu out right now. The prices for everything are so reasonable and the Banana Cream Pie Latte was amazing. Definitely will be returning again!

Head Rush has quickly become my husband and I's favorite coffee shop in Gladstone, and for good reason! I recently tried the Banana Cream Latte, and it was so delicious and it's now one of my go to drinks. Beyond the fantastic coffee, they also have amazing breakfast burritos, pastries, and more to choose from. I love the versatility of this place. Whether you're in a hurry and need to use the convenient drive thru, want to enjoy the fresh air on their outdoor patio, or prefer to cozy up in the cute indoor seating area, Head Rush has you covered. It's the perfect local spot for great coffee and a tasty bite to eat, and the barista's are always friendly no matter what day or time you go!

Never disappointed whether I go to the Briarcliff location or this one. Some of the best options of coffee and matcha around, along with many tea options for purchase. The staff are always friendly and smiling. The place is kept clean and with art to admire while you wait for your coffee. The drive thru window is cute too! I make the 20 min drive at least once a month now. Worth it! The hojicha coffee and the blueberry matcha are definitely my favorites so far.

I don't usually like to leave reviews that are negative, but I have tried this place multiple times and just don't understand the hype. How can a business fix something if they don't know it's broken. Location is so perfect for me to frequent more often, but I tend to drive past due to past experiences. Walked in Monday midday for a treat, only to be ignored for several minutes. A quick hi can go a long way if busy, yet they weren't what I'd even call busy. Ordered the special Winter coffee from the menu, which sounded delicious. It was not. We cannot figure out what they do to make it taste so bitter. It almost tastes burnt. With very little actual flavor. We sat in the dining area for a bit, which is cute with the photography and artwork, both of which I like to diddle in myself. Yet, it's missing a cozy vibe. There is plenty of cool merchandise you can purchase on the side walls, but that doesn't sound appealing if the coffee is lacking. We have in the past tried the baked goods also, but they were dry and didn't taste fresh, so we didn't order them this round. I looked at my husband and we both agreed this would be our last time trying to make this place something that it wasn't.

Nice quaint & friendly coffee shop! Our drinks were delicious! The matcha is one of the best ones I've had in a while. (Iced lavender matcha with whole milk) 10/10 recommend! My husband got the Vanilla Rush hot & loves it. We even stopped by closer to closing than we realized & they were so nice & happy to serve us! Thank you :)

This place is a gem of a coffee shop in Gladstone! They have a small building with ample seating and a gallery attached to it. There are fresh and roasted beans, snacks, merch, and pastries that look absolutely phenomenal! Today I got the hot blueberry matcha (probably the highest quality you can get around here) and felt super energized by it! Not too sweet with excellent flavor. The service was top-tier and always friendly. Go try 'em out for your next drink break!

Finally I find another coffee place so comfy and quiet enough to sit and enjoy the sip! I didn't realize I've been here. The first time I was introduced here it was during the COVID shutdown era. The take out coffee was great, but then I forgot out this place until today. I came in around lunchtime on Friday. This time here is perfect. The lighting, the music, the noice level, the seating, and the space atmosphere are all perfect for studying, for conversation (the voice volume shows respect to other costumers) or just like me enjoy my "me time" using smart devices, lol. They roast their coffee in house, so sometimes the machine working sound can be heard. But that explains why they have such great quality coffee. They also have variety of tea options! However, their pastries section is not the best. The pastries items are pretty much the same as those provided by big supplier. I would recommend this place for their high quality coffee!

The most expensive matcha menu I have seen

I think this is a "coffee shop that took over a Mexican restaurant", type of situation. And I'm here for it. I love that they have a drive-thru, always makes mornings more convenient. But today I decided to stop in. First off I was greeted by the sweetest barista. Customer service is definitely on point as she was patient kind made recommendations and answered my questions. I was directed to try the fall menu, on which everything sounded amazing! I ended up getting the Harvest Moon matcha which has vanilla and pumpkin spice. I also got a small 8 oz hot orange cardamom latte. The vibe inside is very chill. It's a small space but they've made use of every corner with sale retail space, art, photos and some plants lining the back wall. The matcha was delicious and I think they actually have the most extensive matcha menu I've seen in KC. I love all the flavor options!

Best coffee in KC. I drive from the Zona Rosa area to get their coffee. Summer Rush latte is my favorite. The bubble tea is great too.

If I were to compare Ray's to Fresh Donuts and LaMar's, I'd say that Ray's is a mix between the two. Fresh Donuts is for those that like a lighter, drier texture-- a bit more bready. LaMar's is heavier, with a bit more of an unctuous chew with a custardy flavor (which I really enjoy). Ray's kind of is a happy medium between the two. I recommend their glazed donuts. I didn't taste much of a difference with their glazed, chocolate-dough donuts, so if you're hoping for a heavy chocolate flavor, you'll probably be better off getting one that's chocolate-iced. I don't recommend their donut holes because I felt like the texture was much tougher and drier, and had less flavor. For the reviews mentioning poor customer service, I felt like it was good on the day that I went. I would definitely go back!

As a Sicilian woman who grew up with the real deal (Nonni's kitchen), I am very particular about sweets--and Scola's delivers. First of all, the cookies are authentic, not overly sweet, and full of flavor. Each one has that perfect homemade texture--slightly soft in the center with just the right amount of chew. You can taste the quality ingredients: pure butter, real citrus zest, almonds, and sometimes a little anise that brings you right back to Nonna's Sunday table. Their variety is impressive. Whether it's classic amaretti, ricotta cookies, or something seasonal and creative, every bite is a delight. And if you love desserts that aren't sick-sweet but balanced, this place gets it. Not cloying, not fake--just honest, beautiful Italian cookies.
