Stopped at this coffee shop since it had good reviews and it was close to the hotel we were staying at. We immediately were greeted upon walking in and felt welcomed right away. There were two gentlemen working that were both helpful and kind. We ordered their dolce du lèche drink iced and we both really enjoyed it. We also split a strawberry pop tart that was so so yummy and fresh. The place is so cute and has a great environment to sit and enjoy a coffee by yourself or with some company. We enjoyed this place so much my boyfriend went back the same afternoon and we went back again the next morning. If you're looking for a good coffee and pastry this is the place to be. read more

Delicious pastries and drinks. We got the brown sugar pop tart, and the cheesecake danish, both delicious. If you're able to bring it home and pop it in the toaster oven even better otherwise they are served as is. For drinks got the zebra mocha iced it was OK, however, we also got the redbone mocha (raspberry and dark chocolate) and it was amazing! Highly recommend. read more

I've always drove by this place but never went inside and I am glad I did this time! This is such a special coffee shop with amazing authentic pastries and wonderful staff. This quaint place has such cute decorations especially during the winter time. I got their mil hojas pastery and it's so perfectly flakey and sweet so it pairs well with a stronger coffee. read more

This place was sooo cute! It had seating inside as well as a high table seating alongside the window!! I ordered the Iced Zebra Mocha & it was super delicious. I will go back to try the bakery items as I just stopped in before church. The service was amazing! This was my first time going to this establishment. The cafe is conveniently located next to the UPS store in downtown. It's a cute local store that offers coffee, tea and different snacks. In general, the owner was incredibly nice and went above and beyond to get me some tea. I ordered a peppermint tea, empanada and quiche. It cost $13 and then there was an additional tip that could be added. The cafe offers a quiet, peaceful atmosphere to do work or relax from the day. It's locally owned and the owners have a great sense of humor (look at the sign). The service was excellent and she even heated my food without me asking her to. The quiche was okay and it definitely needed more salt. The same could be said about the tea which lacked flavor. However, the empanada was very flavorful and I definitely would buy more. Overall, I would like to try out their coffees so that I can give a more well rounded review next time! read more

Found Revocup when I went to drop off a package at UPS and saw it next door. Such a cute, quiet coffee spot on the edge of the city and is a small business owner shop. The vibe inside is very home-y and not sterile/commercial like your typical city coffee shop. No computers or people studying, just people enjoying coffee and small bites. The smooth jazz was very relaxing and there was so much seating available. The workers were very nice and everything came out quickly. I love a good surprise; and finding Revocup was just that! According to Yelp reviews, this space has been open for over 2 years, but I had no idea they were there until yesterday morning when I was cutting across some side streets in the NE corner of the loop. I circled around the block found a meter and deposited my only change. The two nickels allowed me 6 minutes to run in, order a 6 oz. Ethiopian Macchiato, drool over the pastry selections, and check out the vibe. While waiting, I was drawn into a friendly debate with an elderly lady that appeared she might be homeless. While she was enjoying her cup of drip, she tried to convince me that we were in the worst city in America. I politely rebuffed her argument and silently realized that this entire 6 minute experience is why KC is one of the greatest cities in America. A cool little coffee scene, diversity, overt friendliness and cheap parking! I'm eager to return to my new favorite downtown coffee shop for a repeat of the best macchiato ever and hope I run into my lady friend just so I can buy her a cup of her favorite drip and maybe help to persuade her what a great place we call home. This place is so cute. I got a large (20oz) cold brew, large Milky Way (Carmel and chocolate mocha), and two grilled turkey and cheese sandwiches. The staff were super helpful, and toted the best cold brew in town. They weren't wrong, it was very good! The environment of the coffee shop was fun and personal to the staff. I was in Kansas City for a few days, and discovered Revocup. I fell in love with this little coffee shop. Minority, female owned. Run by a husband and wife team from Ethiopia. I had the best latte ever. And don't forget to try their power balls. Ended up having my morning coffee here the three days I was in KC. And was literally sad to leave and not be able to visit them again. read more

I tried the dulce de leche latte with Oatmilk. I was pleased to see they Oatly Oatmilk. It's by far my fav brand and I've discovered that other coffee shops in KC only carry Pacific. My latte was very smooth, balanced in flavor, sweet but not overly sweet. Great customer service as well. read more

Visiting KC from Los Angeles, stumbled upon this coffee shop after a quick Yelp search - and did not disappoint. Staff - Very welcoming, knew their menu, aware of popular items. Masked, very professional family run. Ambience - Clean, comfortable, well lit, playing light jazz. Indoor seating is very nice, wood theme. Coffee - ok this is really what I wanted to get to. Didn't see it in the reviews, but their Ethiopian Macchiato is perfect. Only lightly sweet, full bodied espresso really comes out, and their dish ware is very handsome. Got another straight espresso shot, and it's really the star of the show that drives the flavored lattes. Will return next time I'm in town. read more

I am a career barista and lifelong coffee geek. Let me tell you, this place has some of the best espresso in Kansas City. It's a little unique. I don't know exactly what's in it, but to me it tastes like an Ethiopia-Brazil blend with maybe some other stuff mixed in there. Sooo tasty. (Real talk, they don't always keep the drip coffee very fresh. But if that's what you want, order an americano instead and you will not be disappointed because their espresso is just that good.) The people behind the counter are always really smiley and sweet. I've only had good experiences with them, even throughout the Rona era. In short, I can't recommend it enough! read more

Love love love this little coffee place on the corner. I've come here a few times and both the friendliness from the owners as well as the humble atmosphere will have me returning. My husband and I only live a 7 minute walk away from this place and it feels good to get out, get some sunlight and grab a cold iced latte and a fresh pastry. Revocup is a hidden gem of downtown. I really enjoy all the locations of Revocup in the KC area but the downtown location might be my favorite. The owner is the nicest barista you'll meet. We were a little hungry and got the empanadas and both tried the Yerba mate. We've never had the traditional yerba mate and were excited we could try it here. Once our order was ready one of the employees was happy to explain to us how to properly drink the yerba mate. She was patient, kind, and professional the whole time. There's definitely a trick to drinking it without getting the tea leaves through the straw. As we enjoyed our snack and drink we could tell the caffeine kicks in a little later. So, if you're up to trying traditional yerba mate, be aware that you'll get a gradual burst of energy a little later. I personally loved the decor and the atmosphere here. They had little knick knacks you could purchase, a small refrigerator with items to take with you as well. I got a couple of key chains for my sister and myself and my boyfriend and I have already noted that we want to come back here the next time we're in Kansas City!

I really enjoyed the chilaquiles breakfast here and so did my husband. What was even more special was that it went wonderfully well with their coffee here. They have excellent java at this place.

No way was he paying $7 for plain bread. Later we found through their online that he could get a plain bagel so he went and ordered it. 20 minutes later and a few check ins they finally bring the bagel. The person at the desk did bring him a coupon for a free drink that expired back at the end of 2025 so we are hoping they will still take it when we go back because it does not look promising. Other than this the service was good. I won't take a star off for this blip. The ambiance has not changed from the previous place but it was nice, clean and fairly quiet.
