Most recently Cass and Nathan were here to install a wireless rain detection device. While on site, they adjusted spray head coverage as we requested, and installed a special back-flow valve to prevent a downhill spray head from draining the uphill line into unwanted puddles. The people who do the work have to be smart to be able to troubleshoot very complex problems that arise when plastic plumbing and lots of electronic controls are all underground! But they also have to be able to work with their hands to build things, both out of plumbing and electrical hookups. And they have to understand the ever-changing product offerings. Typically I'll work with a sprinkler company as long as they have a very smart guy to do my work; then when they fall off, I start the search for another. I had a problem when I installed a Rachio controller myself; I didn't follow the advice to take a picture of the wiring of the old controller. Then I found that my old controller hadn't been wired conventionally, and I had a devil of a time trying to get it working. So I called my sprinkler guy, who worked all day on it and finally got one zone working. Just one, after working all day! I found Capital, and Dave Fullerton, from Angie's List. He came out, and in four hours had the whole thing working, found a troublesome leak in the system, and made a couple of repairs also. Compared with the average person in this business, he's a true Superman. I recommend that you call Capital for your irrigation system needs. Without reservation. He put the system through a test run, we walked each zone to discuss my concerns and issues; and then he came up with a plan to make the irrigation system more effective and reliable. I sent photos to the office, but they denied that their technician removed them and simply suggested that I buy replacement bulbs because they are inexpensive. The cost of the bulbs is not the issue. The bulbs were working before the visit, and now the fixtures are left without bulbs. I am disappointed that no explanation was provided and no responsibility was taken.

I had wired Hunter rain sensor that was not working as intended because it was running sprinklers…read moreon wet days and I think the roof at the top was blocking rain from going to the sensor (I own townhouse), so I wanted to move the sensor to the other spot (away from the roof). I hired DMV Worx (Roberto) to do this task. I told Roberto to move it to the spot away from the roof but Robert suggested wireless sensor and he could install it at the other spot. He didn't listen to me. I thought wireless sensor was a good idea because you could move it anywhere, but it was pretty expensive at $375. I told him to go ahead and install it. Two months later, we have had rains and the sprinklers are still running on wet days, and the new sensor is still not working. I contacted Roberto and when he asked me how he could help me and I told him about the problem with the rain sensor that he installed two months ago, and it is still running sprinklers on wet days. He has ignored me and would not reply. Don't hire this company. Be forewarned, this company is not in Better Business Bureau. They're under "DUFIEF consulting", not DMV Worx.
