Even though it's a 14-year-old Wrangler with pinstripes and now transmission issues, I'm sentimentally attached to it! I finally went with JP Auto Transport after seeing a post from them on Reddit. They were more expensive than the lowest quote I received by about $100, but they were very responsive, were semi-local to my area, and believed they could get my marginally operational vehicle from Las Vegas to LA within about two days of my booking. I was pleasantly surprised when they were able to deliver my Jeep a day earlier than expected, and in an enclosed trailer even though I hadn't paid extra to request enclosed storage when I booked the shipment. I recommend them to others and would use them again, although hopefully I don't have to!

With Patriot, communication was stellar throughout. After I submitted a quote request online, I received an email back within 24 hours with a very reasonable quote. I had a couple of questions and the rep (Allison) was great. She even suggested putting some extra information in the notes about where to do the pick-up and drop-off (something that was completely messed up by the other company). On the day of the pickup, the driver texted me to let me know exactly when he would be there (the other company messed that up too). We talked about the best place to do the pickup and he went to the place that I suggested (the other company insisted on an illegal and dangerous location even though I told them there was a safer and legal spot just around the corner). I asked the Patriot driver to give me his best estimate on the drop off date because I needed to book a flight. He told me he would text me after picking up the other the cars. And he did!!! He arrived on the date he said he would. He texted me about where he thought he could do the drop off and I was able to suggest a better location within walking distance of my house. 1 star. Pathetic…read more 10 MONTHS. That's how long I've been trying to get this company to address scratches in multiple locations on my car that occurred during transport. The damage was obvious. My attempts to get it resolved were ignored. No accountability. No meaningful follow-up. No resolution. They were happy to take my money. Once there was a problem, getting a response was apparently too much to ask. Things can happen during vehicle transport. What separates a reputable company from a terrible one is how they handle it when something goes wrong. This company chose to ignore the problem for nearly a year. If you value your vehicle--and your sanity--I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. 10 months. Multiple follow-ups. Zero resolution. One star because zero isn't an option.
