I made an appointment for a diagnostic to find out what the power draw was. They had it almost a week and never found it. It cost me over 700- with a new battery. After checking in, I asked to please not leave it under a pole where it would be crapped all over. Well, they didn't do it. They "looked" at it and nothing. I did more work myself by following forums and looking into it further. After putting in another new battery, that has crapped out again, I disconnected the ON-STAR and never had the problem again. If you don't buy the car from them, they don't seem to G.A.G.S about your car. read more

I brought my truck to Healey for routine maintenance. I have to say I was very impressed with how spotless clean the service department was I was greeted promptly and was sitting with a service advisor within 2 minutes. I explained all my concerns and was on my way home within 10 minutes of arriving The next day my truck was ready. Washed and looking great. All my concerns were addressed. I didn't even buy my truck from Healey. I'm new to Orange County. They treated me better than the Cadillac dealer that I bought my Escalade from. I will definitely purchase my next truck from Healey. Thanks for the quick and courteous service. If anyone from Healey Chevrolet reads this. Do me a favor and call City Cadillac in Queens NY. Give them some pointers on customer service. read more

Very unsatisfied. Please notice the other reviews are good for purchasing a car - my review is about service. I brought my 2003 Alero in for the GM Ignition Switch Recall. Healey was the only local option given to me by the GM recall hotline. When I dropped my car off, I also mentioned that the sunroof had not closed completely since my car had shut off while driving due to the ignition issue. I picked up my car on a Sunday when the service center was closed. The gauges on the dashboard were not working at all. My sunroof, which had previously opened completely but would not shut completely, was practically twisted off the track. I called the following morning to report this and ask that they look at. When I went to drop the car back off, they asked me to sign something saying I was willing to pay if it was not related. I said no, because as they had possession of the car, it must be related - it happened in their care. They told me that my recall only included work being done on the key and they did not touch my sunroof. Steve in the service center told me they didn't touch the cluster it must be unrelated and they shouldn't be held responsible. I asked that they check to confirm its not related and they said, we could but if its not, we need you to agree to pay and it is still going in circles like that. they also kept telling me they didn't touch my sunroof but I just got the GM, Lou Roselli, to read off the internal notes to me that they did. . OH, and best part Lou told me "I see here in our files that you still owe us for diagnostic work we did for you in 2009" I didn't own the Alero until Sept 2014 and I've never been to Healey before. I am currently looking into legal means to hold them accountable. It was brought to my attention that I may be able to pursue them to look at my car, and if it is related, fix what they broke under basic civil liability standards. Loved the sales department here when I bought my Chevy . I had a great experience everyone was friendly and professional. The service department on the other hand is a nightmare. I have taken my vehicle here for all of it's service and each experience has been terrible. No one seems to know what they are doing, and they act like they couldn't be bothered. Twice when I got my oil changed they forgot to reset the oil info on the vehicle. read more

First, I was told it may have been my fault that my car broke down because the oil change sticker was never replaced. However, records showed I was within timely requirements. Next, I was told I would have my car back between 8-10 days. I didn't get it back for 3 weeks. I attempted communication as much as possible, but only heard back if I reached out. Awesome service rep Mickey! She let me know exactly what was going to be done to my car and how long it would take. She even checked if there was any open recalls on it. Since I was going to wait for my car I took advantage of the enormous customer lounge area. There was free coffee and computers with Internet access. Very customer friendly. They also washed my car for free at the end. I will come back. read more

I brought my 2006 cobalt in for an ignition recall. The service adviser told me it would take 1.5 hours but the mechanic broke something taking it apart, then put it back together wrong and it was noticed in the wash bay. when he tried to correct the problem he broke something else. I had to leave the car until the next day and when I picked it up the steering wheel was very loose and made a grinding noise when I turned. The service adviser then got the "A" mechanic to fix it. The steering wheel was straight when they started and when I left it was not. I had to fix it myself. This recall cost me and there is still broken plastic in my steering column. I will NEVER buy another vehicle or use this dealer for anything else EVER again and may even contact the Better Business Bureau. read more

First of all I cannot tell you how aggravating it is when you are constantly brushed off. Jackie should not be the "front woman" for car service!! She promised 3 times that my car would be done, never phoned me once with an update and always quick to answer questions without having the correct information. My suggestion is to hear the customer's out first, understand the problem and not promise it would be fixed that same day not knowing whether the part is in stock or not. Always check with technician first and then respond. Jackie is rough around the edges and needs some customer service/skills training that needs to slow down when working with customers. Take it from someone who has worked in the service department! I would not suggest this service to anyone. read more

I made an appointment for an oil change the day before, got there early, and it took 2 hours. TWO HOURS FOR AN OIL CHANGE. They tried selling me $500 worth of service for a 2013 certified pre-owned car that I've had for 6 months. It's insulting and ludicrous. This is after a salesman had berated me and told me I had no integrity because I decided to not buy a car from him. Only reason I even look at this place is because of its location. read more

Super nice people, especially Jackie. Some how our car got lost in the bowels of Healey Chevrolet. A simple oil change took 1 1/2 hrs and the complimentary car was didn't happen. A lot of workers standing around in the office area maybe could have been put to better use. My dad is big on using "the dealer" for service. I explained that I needed the car quickly because I had to bring my 87 yr old dad to the doctor and we missed the appt. Very disappointed. I was thinking of looking for a truck there as my friend Andy got his Stingray there and was happy with the service. Now I don't know where to go since Healy is allover the place. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I purchased a vehicle back in 2012 and foolishly purchased the Gold car care maintenance plan book. HAH! I've been to middletown healey 3 times, simply because of my maintenance plan & the convenience of living across the street. The first time I went for my 5000k mile service. I got it back 2 hours later with a broken license plate & never got the vehicle washed. (No biggie) Second time, I went again back in March of 2013 & insisted I needed a alignment, okay no problem. Received it again with a broken front license plate (yeah I don't get it either) & my vehicle once again was not washed. (Okay whatever). I just recently went again (mind you I've had my vehicle on the road for less than 2 months & it hasn't been on the road since it's alignment at healeys in March 2013). I made the appointment early as possible & let them know I needed to be at work at a certain time. I went in for the basic service, oil change, window washer replenished, tire rotation, you know the basic stuff. I waited for 3, THREE hours, and one of the crooks insisted on another alignment. Really? Another one? Hah complete joke. Amateur night at the apollo. I finally got my car back 3 hours later, all that was done was the oil change, & the window washer refilled. Never got my tires rotated, or my hinges lubricated, or my car WASHED. Also, I get home & noticed my left blinker is broken. Ridiculous. Thank you Healey, you're the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Don't take your car here for service!!! I brought my car in for an engine knock. I was told $300 - $450 but the mechanic had never worked on my make car before. I was told they would call me the next day. The next day came and end of day I had to hunt them down. She leaves me a message that my engine is in great shape and babbles something about it being under warrantee but they need to do more tests. She'd call the next day. Once again no call. We play phone tag and her message to me is the mechanic working on my car is out for a class can they keep my car over the weekend. Bells and whistles are going off not to let them do anything else. I can't get ahold of her so I leave her a message not to do anything else and I'm picking up my car. She calls me back and leave a message that she has another mechanic that will do the work and I can "probably" still get my car. I then leave another message stressing they do not do anything else and I will be picking it up. I had to take the next day off and call them yet again. We pick up my car, $600 bill, no breakdown of what they did but at the end of the write up they state "will need to remove engine from vehicle and perform tear down to determine noise". I'm not sure when they planned on telling me they were going to do this or if they ever were planning. I left with the car and it drove worse than when I brought it in. Run away from this dealership!!! read more
