I was very pleased with my experience using this business recently. I've been to the 211 location in previous years, but this was my first time at the Dolson location. I needed four new tires. I know next to nothing about tires. Large purchases regarding things outside of my wheelhouse can be daunting lol The employee who met me at the front desk was great - with a glance he knew the size of tire I'd need, pulled up the options for brands and prices for me, explained the differences between them so I could make an informed purchase, and not 20 minutes later I was done and heading home on four new tires. Can't ask for better than that :) We won't hesitate to return next time we need tires. read more

Customer service at this Location is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, didn't realize it but the owner is outside moving cars up the line, has me back up with my 3500 dully and pulls off the rear tire and off he goes to investigate my flat, repairs it and puts it back on truck. Waiting in line and then two other vehicles pull up, block both bays and they proceed to get serviced after I was CLEARLY already waiting. The shop workers saw me there when the lady ahead of me pulled in. It was no mistake that I was waiting. I woke up in the morning to a flat tire. I took the tire off the vehicle, put it in my truck, and stopped by Tire Discount Center just after opening time. The employee was there all alone but told me he could repair the tire right away for me. Ten minutes later, he carried the tire out to my truck. He had plugged a puncture hole and advised me there was no charge. Other shops would've tried selling me a new tire. This employee was honest and worked fast. Tire Discount is "the place" you should go to for repairs that need to be done to your tires. Whether it is just a test for a leak, removal of a nail, tire rotation, or anything else..including buying new tires. Now to the average person driving through Middletown may glance at this business and not think anything of it. It is a single bay business, meaning it works on one car at a time, but don't let that fool you. They work quickly and dedicate all the time you need to address all of you tire care needs. I can see how the "layman" could be turned off by the location since the line that you wait in can be intimidating. However, the line does move quick and you can always be assured that they will price you appropriately for whatever service you are getting. There have been times in which they removed nails from my tire for no charge. In these situations I always tip them since they are helping me out immensely. They think it is no big deal and only takes them a minute to fix.. but to the driver they are solving an issue that would usually ruin a persons day..or week. read more

I don't think anybody could ever say an unkind word about the business or the people who work there they are, the most honest, reliable, hard-working people I've ever met! Not only do they give you a heads up "before" any service/repairs are done they give you a heads up on pricing so you're "aware" ahead of time! Even after your tires are put on if you incur any kind of leak or uneven air in the tires ,alerts of any kind due to your own fault or whatever, you can pull in there and they will check it and pump air in all or whatever tire needed for nothing. My car needed a tire rotation so i went here. I had forgot to get one when i had an oil change from another place; it turned out to be better. The oil change place charged 29.95$; this place was $15. I let them know i had locking wheel nuts so i gave him the right adapter. The rotation was quick; didn't wait long. The service was fine. read more

Extremely rude! I work at a dealership and was calling for a part we didn't have in stock. I was nothing but polite but they were extremely rude and nasty for NO reason. When I called back to ask for a supervisor I was told I was "Speaking to the owner and to go F*ck myself." What is wrong with these people? We were out of Towners up in the Middletown NY area. While we were following our agent on I-84, a copper pipe was hit and ejected in the air. It took out one of our tires. Stopped and put the donut on our 2018 explorer and drove. Slowly to them. We had no way to get home back to lower NY. Sadly we were turned away. Awesome shop, had issue with tire that had allegedly been replaced by another tire shop. Instead appears they only placed plug and was leaking. Tire Discount Center literally fixed leak in plug for free within a few minutes when original tire center said they could do nothing and only asked if I wanted to buy another tire. Absolutely recommend these guys who were also incidentally recommend by collision shop and insurance company. read more

I hate to be the one to give them 1 star but i had a bad experience there. They only have one garage open for repairs so its 1 car at a time. The staff there do work really hard and really fast - but thats part of the problem. Really fast means a chance to miss something and not fix the problem. I went there 3 times for them just to get it right with the tire balance. It was frustrating for me to go back and wait on that single car line and then to know that the problem wasn't even fixed. The phone system is frustrating too because more than half the time you call their number, you cannot reach anyone. You cant leave a message or anything. You have to try to call call call a bunch of times until someone is not busy enough to pick up the phone. read more

I use these guys for everything I don't want to use my over priced dealership for and have visited more times to count over the past few years. This past time in particular Nick was a big help! Front brakes and routers, rear brakes and routers, new tires, mount, balance, & alignment. None of which was pushed on me. I honestly needed the work done. Much cheaper then the dealership quoted me & I already know these guys do a good job. They have to! My brakes are warrantied for life. Next time I just pay for time worked on the vehicle & I always buy the warranty on my tires there so if ANYTHING happens I don't have to come out of pocket. Even if that means a brand new tire. With all the warranties it'd be a disservice to themselves to not do a good job. But over the years I've used them they have always token care of me. Even when I've come to cash in on my warranties for not out of pocket stuff & this is coming from a over weary young lady always afraid to get conned by a mechanic. Really long wait times and it is slightly unprofessional that they DO NOT have a dedicated receptionist to answer the phones and take payments. The manager is a nice guy, but he's going back & fourth between working on cars, taking payments, and answering the phone ONCE every 5th call (I noticed this as I was waiting for my car to get fixed). Needless to say, they fixed my wheel issue and I have had no problems. P.s. I updated my review from 4 stars to 2 after I have been calling for TWO DAYS with NO ANSWER! Mr. Paul, maybe you should fix this issue as the store owner being that you have had this SAME complaint dating back two years. A simple reply on yelp is meaningless if you are not addressing the issues at had. There are not many tire repair places in Middletown so it seems as though you are taking advantage and not in a good way. read more
