I went back for follow up with his PA Mike who said, no problem, very common, we'll repeat it ASAP and I'll submit for the authorization for that today. I gave them a week and then called to check the status. Left a message. No call back. Next two days, same thing again. Day 4 I called my insurance, they said nobody has submitted authorization for anything on your behalf. My insurance offered to call his office. They left a message. Still no call back or action. I have moved on to someone else who has the ability to follow through. They sure did bill my insurance for that visit that I got nothing out of though! Additionally I am perturbed by the onslaught of advertisements in his waiting room AND exam rooms for sexual enhancement and cosmetic treatments he offers. Perhaps his attention is too divided? It's been 4 weeks now and to this day no one from his office has returned my calls or followed through on my treatment plan.

Then I saw the reviews for Dr. Belnap on Yelp & lo and behold he was able to fit me in the week I returned . After looking at x rays of my shoulder and back from years ago & examining me he sent me to get an MRI . I was relieved it was an MRI and not a CAT scan as they have been shown to increase your chances of getting cancer. The MRI place he recommended was able to get me in for the next week.. my co-pay was under $100 for my back and my shoulder . Soon after this I saw Dr. Belnap again & he gave me a cortisone injection in my shoulder and some medication which helped greatly . A few months later the same in my back ! Last year I somehow hurt my back so badly I could barely walk. Once again, he was able to fit me in quickly and gave me an injection, which helped somewhat. However, it was Christmas holidays and I was going away for a special celebration and my back couldn't handle it. He was able to fit me in during the holiday season quickly, gave me an epidural and I was able to go and be fine. he's very caring and and we'll do whatever he can to help.

I finally got the appointment after calling the office about a dozen times over many months. I finally got the epidural, and at the pointless follow up appointment somebody other than Dr Kim came in the room and rudely barked a bunch of questions at me and then left the room without making eye contact or introducing himself, or telling me that I'm free to go, that was the whole appointment. I still don't know who he was or what the point of the follow-up was, I never saw Dr Kim again. They sent me the wrong bill 6 months ago and I tried contacting their biller many times to speak to them about the bill. I can't get ahold of them on the phone, and I get zero responses to emails. They continue to send me the wrong bill every couple of months, and every time I try to contact them with no response. Finally after 6 months and many attempts at contacting them, I got a response saying: We're working on it and every time you contact us you get bumped to the back of the line so stop contacting us. But they keep sending me the wrong bill! The procedure occurred nearly a year ago and this is still not resolved.
