I can't recommend this place enough! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was so calm and welcoming, and the staff is truly exceptional. This is not a place where you can visit and ask questions. We brought our 12 years old dog here to check it out and thought we can make an appointment. The door was lock but obviously it's business hour. A guy walked out and run back in to grab a brochure. It's so unwelcoming let us wait outside very long. I don't need a leaflet. It's all online. I want to see your facility and meet your people. Treatments aren't cheap I will pay what I will get. But since they can't give me a clue I simply on to a better service out there. read more

I love everything about this place. I was a little -concerned- when the first meeting was a zoom, but it really gave me a chance to share my concerns with Dr. Mandi, discuss her treatment thoughts for my GSD, and plan for our first appointment. Because so many dogs coming here are post-surgery or otherwise having issues, they're super careful to avoid K9-contact and so our first appointment was very low stress. Dr. Mandi worked with my dog to make sure everything was set for our plan. Thereafter we did physical therapy, where Trixie did as much PT as I did learning, water treadmill (which I thought was going to be a disaster but went swimmingly well). You see different team members when you come in so you get a really good perspective on different approaches to the PT/training (Trixie trains easily, me less so). They also are collecting all of the A-Team local providers here, including accupuncture etc.. 5-stars, definitely recommend. read more

Healing arts is amazing! Both of our dogs had successful TPLO a few years ago, but as they age they are getting arthritis, spindolysis, and the occasional pulled muscles. Our dogs love the underwater tredmill, laser therapy, and the gym! They have so much fun with the talented and caring staff, and come home feeling rejuvenated and exhausted. My 14yo Keeshond suffered a sudden loss of function in three limbs. Our regular vet was medically able to control the pain, but Percival needed to get the neural pathways retrained to control his limbs. Healing Arts was able to perform that magic! In Percival's case, laser therapy, water treadmill and at home exercises and walks were the program. Percival is now able to rest in complete comfort and walk with good control and ease. The regular vets are amazed at his recovery, as am I. The fee was quite reasonable for the initial 6 weeks. We are going to do some more! read more

In mid April my chihuahua started limping on her right hind leg. After seeing her Veterinarian I learned she had a Torn Cruciate and a Luxating Patella. After seeing a Surgeon to discuss surgery possibilities the surgeon highly recommended putting my dog in a Rehab program which I did. By early May she had begun her rehab journey at The Healing Arts Animal Care. Long story short, I can not say enough wonderful things about the care and treatment my dog received while under their care. They even helped my dog with a weight loss program by recommending an appropriate food and an appropriate quantity to give her. I also received a daily regimen of exercises to help her gain strength in her legs. Our dog Harlow has double TLPO Surgery. We rehabbed her legs at Healing Arts, and it was the best experience. Harlow developed a fear of the vet during COVID, anyone in scrub like clothing would scare her. After about 10 minutes during her first visit that fear went away. This company send an invoice for a session for my animal. One month later I scheduled and paid the invoice (I had told them I would see our veterinarian for a diagnosis confirmation, as aha had suggested). Imagine my surprise when they invoiced me for an additional $70 claiming they had price increases. They do not honor their invoices for any length of time and were very unpleasant to communicate with regarding the price increase. They happily refunded my initial payment and did not even offer to honor the original invoice. Its sad when people are in business solely for the money and not for helping the animals. read more

Our puppy Maggie was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at less than 6 months old. After a surgical consult, they recommended physical therapy in an attempt to delay (or avoid) surgery. We chose Healing Arts Animal Care and it has been an awesome experience for us. The care was holistic - appointments with joint manipulation, physical therapy exercises, laser therapy and underwater treadmill. Exercises to take home along with instructions (many with videos) and check ins to make sure we were doing ok. They recommended medication / supplement options and they also check in with our vet regularly. Maggie is SO MUCH stronger and she is no longer lame / in pain. With continued routine exercises at home and the occasional underwater treadmill session we have delayed surgery (so far). I just love this place! Our frenchie/boston mix injured her leg and our vet recommended a surgical consult. The surgeon recommended a very expensive, very invasive surgery with months of recovery. After consulting with our vet again he recommended Healing Arts. After a thorough initial consult we set a course of action and I brought Daphne in weekly for six weeks. She would get very excited every time we arrived and seemed to thoroughly enjoy her visits. The Drs are very compassionate and were easy to get ahold of when I had questions. The outlines for the home exercises were thorough and easy to do and the recommendations for medications and supplements were well thought out and much appreciated! This business is short staffed and it shows. One of their assistants admitted that when I asked.  The owner of Healing Arts Animal Care, Mandi Blackwell, emailed me Wednesday night, telling me she was terminating my relationship with them, and that I wasn't a good fit, instead of calling me to discuss the situation and hear why I had previously been unhappy with them. My second therapy session was scheduled the next morning (yesterday)! I was heartbroken.  I felt like the rug was pulled out from under me. My sweet older Corgi, Izzy, desperately needs help. I'm retired and it took me a long time to figure out finances to pay for treatments.  Now, I have to pay for another $400 - $500 consult fee and start over. I had a renewed sense of hope after my first therapy session with Amanda last week and was looking forward to my second session (of six) yesterday. You never get a live person on the phone and responses are slow. They outsource a company outside of the United States to start the process of making your first appointment and they don't speak English very well, making it hard to communicate. Someone who spoke better English had to call me back twice. That company kept sending me  emails saying they hadn't received the form I filled out and said I couldn't go to my first consult without it. Healing Arts verified they had, in fact, received it. The outsourced company also sent an email meant for a different customer, comprised of part of my name,  someone else's pet's name and a total different appointment time. In addition, after paying $342 for the initial consult it took almost a week before I got any instructions or pain medication for  my sweet arthritic older Corgi, Izzy. I had to call the vet office who previously took Izzy's blood work in February, and ask them to forward that information, so Dr. Lyn at Healing Arts could prescribe pain meds. This should have been taken care of by assistants at Healing Arts. When I finally did talk to one of the assistants after voice messages, texts and emails, all she said was that they 'reached out' to the vet office (which was an ER facility) and was waiting to hear back from them. She needed to keep calling them until the information was sent.  It wasn't until I got involved that the blood work was sent to healing Arts and myself. I had called the ER vet office, got right through to someone,  and they emailed Healing Arts and myself the information needed, so Dr. Lyn could send the script in to Costco.  Yes, I had a rocky start with Healing Arts Animal Care, but things were looking up after Izzy's  first physical therapy appointment which included laser, hydro (treadmilll) therapy, and massage, with Amanda last week.  She was very nice  and informative, even writing down information for me. I was excited for Izzy's next session yesterday, until Mandi emailed me, terminating my relationship. Had Mandi Blackwell called me to discuss why I had previously been upset, things would have been different. She needs to hear about the problems that happen. I feel Healing Arts needs to hire a 'live person' to answer phones and bring the new-customer appointment scheduling in-house. Healing arts performed an actual miracle with my cat Milo. He was very badly injured after an escape from our fenced in yard. His foreleg was paralyzed, and we were told he may never walk the same again. We were told by the emergency vet to get used to the concept of amputation. Our vet recommended Healing Arts, and we took him there despite the long drive. They gave us hope, and in the end it was worth it. Their level of care was incredible, they did everything they could to make him comfortable. They devised a course of treatments for him and my wife drove him there every week, an hour each way. They used a combination of acupuncture, laser, PT, and a special custom boot that allowed him to relearn to walk. Dr Mandi always found creative ways to help him along his path and showed the utmost care when providing treatment. The entire team at Healing Arts treats your pet as they would their own. Milo is now walking, running and back to his playful self. He has made almost a full recovery and we are very thankful. read more

Our dog Monty was referred to Healing Arts after an FHO surgery. The hospital that did the surgery recommended that we call as soon as possible to set up consultations with numerous physical therapists since oftentimes there's a wait to get started. When we called Healing Arts to set up the consultation we were greeted and walked through the process very patiently and with so much kindness that we immediately set our sights on driving out of our way to make sure our pup got the best care as he recovered. We are so glad we went with the Healing Arts team - Monty received dedicated care and his sister Pepper got to tag along and get treats too! The entire team was so sweet and really helped Monty get back on track after a pretty traumatic dog attack and resulting surgery. They have a great water treadmill that he used at every visit, and they also made sure we were sent home with good practices to make sure his leg stayed limber and gained strength. After "graduating" from the PT program, Monty is doing so great! My boyfriend and I visited this clinic back in December based on a recommendation from a friend. The clinic was clean and the receptionist (Debi) was nice. We didn't have to wait long for the appointment and felt like initially our dog was comfortable in the office. This review will not get 5 stars from us for a few reasons. The vet spoke really loud during the entire appointment and didn't stop talking for close to 45 minutes. We couldn't ask any questions or give any answers without being interrupted by her. She talked a little about treatment but talked mostly about herself and something about her boyfriend in college? When she finally got around to describing the treatments to us, we were talked to as if we were children. The treatment was okay but at end of the appointment, our dog growled at the vet- something he never does. And on the ride home we found an acupuncture needle still in his foot! We didn't think Dr. Mandi was very professional but we wanted to try another treatment for our old boy to see if it would help. We brought him in a second time and we saw the vet tech (Bernadette) who was really great. She was completely different from the vet, with better energy and a calmer attitude and our dog seemed much more comfortable with her. She was gentle and soft spoken. We had a question about getting a refill of anti inflammatory drugs which (understandably) she couldn't do, but said she would ask the vet. Come to find out the doctor wasn't even there! We never received a phone call, follow up email, or response from Dr. Mandi. She basically brushed us off. We liked the clinic, the receptionist, and the tech, but unfortunately we don't think we can work with this vet. She stressed our dog out, wasn't around to answer questions, and had zero follow through. Not to mention the money you spend on the first visit, you think you'd get more. We'll find another place with a more compassionate vet for rehab. read more

I can't say enough good things about Healing Arts. My dog, Lucy, has IVDD and needed physical therapy following surgery last January. To start, we had a virtual consult with Dr. Mandi - an infinite source of information, in which she was patient and thorough as she explained water treadmill therapy, laser and physiotherapy, the therapies she thought would work best for our case. Their office is clean and highly functional. They were great about following social distancing and mask policies. They only used positive reinforcement. The reception staff is very professional. We specifically worked with Amanda and Whitney. Amanda was super sweet and helped Lucy get comfortable in a new setting. Whitney is FANTASTIC. I honestly can't say enough good things about her. Lucy was a little scared of the water treadmill at first so Whitney would go in with her! To me, that's going above and beyond. She worked so patiently with my Lucy who can be a little difficult at times! She showed me how to do stretches and exercises at home and made suggestions for things we were struggling on. We went back a total of 6-7 times and each time, Lucy would get so excited to see her new best friend, Whitney :) Lucy progressed slowly and surely and is still doing great. I would highly recommend Dr Mandi and her team to anyone looking for help for their furry family members. My best buddy Navin was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia in 2015, which is very unusual for a relatively young small breed dog (a cockapoo). Within a year of his diagnosis, despite twice weekly Adequan shots and daily Rovera and Cosequin, it was clear that his pain was quickly getting worse. He wasn't enjoying walks or playing anymore, and he was limping on a regular basis, necessitating daily pain management. We began weighing the options and benefits of hip surgery or replacement, and trying to accept the fact that we might not get to share our lives with Navin for as long as we'd hoped for. At a consultation with a surgeon, they recommended we try physical therapy for a few weeks and referred us to Dr Mandi. Our first appointment was wonderful: Dr Mandi was kind, empathetic and clearly loved animals. Navin took to her right away, and she eased his anxieties about the tread mill by getting into the tank with him. She spent ample time discussing an intensive six week therapy plan, and clearly laid out the costs and what to expect. We spent time reviewing and practicing PT exercises to do at home, and she tailored the work to what we could commit time to. Six weeks of laser therapy, treadmill work and PT later, and Navin was back to his happy go lucky self. He was enjoying walks again, no longer limping, and back to wrestling and instigating play with his brother. We have gone to monthly maintenance sessions, and still do PT every few days at home, and Navin is still doing amazingly well. My dog and I are such fans of the team at Healing Arts Animal Care! My pup is a tripod who has also undergone hip surgery and has dealt with ongoing pain, mobility issues, and limited stamina as a result. We have done physical therapy exercises, underwater treadmill and laser therapy through Healing Arts and it has had a really positive impact on my dog. His stamina, gait and mobility have all improved significantly! We went from going on short (20-30 minute) walks, to now him being able to walk for an hour or more with few breaks. Our maltipom puppy Maple had to undergo FHO surgery for Legg-Perthes disease. After the surgery, she didn't want to use the leg operated on, which would have caused muscular atrophy and ultimately the loss of the leg. Healing Arts Animal Care gave us the knowledge necessary and gave Maple the help she needed so that now she's living as if nothing ever happened to that leg! They also gave great dietary advice. In all my years of dog ownership, I have never had a vet who was more kind, conscientious, creative, and knowledgeable than Dr. Mandi. We had a boxer who had serious health issues that no other vet in town could help. We were sent for a consult to Dr. Mandi and knew immediately that we were in good hands. Our boxer lived several years beyond what anyone said she would and Dr. Mandi was there until the very end, even coming to our home for the dreaded euthanasia.
