I wish i could do 3.5 stars, but i feel like it doesn't deserve a 4. The massage went great my lady was good, the place was very nice and clean. my problem with it, is that I said that my problem areas were my feet and my lower back, thinking you know, saying that she would focus on those areas, but it felt more focused in my upper back, around my shoulder blades and armpits. Midway through I asked her if she could do my hands, and she said, of course, but she only did my fingers. and when it came to massaging my feet, she only put pressure on my heels. There wasn't an actual foot massage or anything. Maybe that's not included in the full body massage, I know some places are like that, but definitely my feet and my hands were really sad to walk out without a massage on them after specifically stating that that's what I wanted. read more

During COVID, the owner Tina followed several precautions to ensure everyone's safety. Tina is amazing and she always goes above and beyond for her clients. I am so disappointed in this place. I got a massage yesterday and today I'm so so sore. I've received deep tissue massages before but none have left me like this. First off the lady never asked me where my problem areas are or how I liked the pressure. I assumed she was going to ask me during the massage then was just about ready to walk on my back and let me tell you her heel did press on my lower back and when I had to tell her this is not what I paid for and I did not want that I wanted a regular Swedish massage. The massage felt rushed. And to top it off when I went to pay the lady at the front desk told me it was $65 but I had a brochure that I got that same day in the massage room that said $60 and the lady said with an attitude mind you- whatever I'm not gonna argue over $5. That made me feel so uncomfortable. That was so rude of her. And now my back is hurting and I'm just hoping this discomfort and pain goes away... I have no idea what she did but I'm never going back there again. And to top it off When I walked in the sign said mask required - i asked the lady if I needed to wear a mask and she said yes - BUT she wasn't wearing a mask... okay. Great Spa with friendly staff! After going to a different spa in Encino for the past 5-6 years, my masseuse told me that one of the Estheticians was starting up her own spa. My favorite people were all leaving, so I decided to hop on board, support Tina, and see what the new place is all about. First and foremost, it's 5 minutes from my home, what more could I ask for? Second, the rooms are much larger which provide ample room and space. Third, everyone is friendly, warm, and pleasant. My facial would have been much better if the following did not happen. The esthetician answered her phone twice during the facial. Don't appreciate the cross-contamination. I could smell cigarette smoke on her breath. She blew her nose and did not wash her hands and I dont recall if she had gloves on. Constant talking when I just wanted to relax. Even after she asked if I wanted to listen to music. lastly she used the n-word in conversation, which should never, ever be said; especially to an African-American. However, the extractions, amount of pressure used, scrubs, enzyme mask, steam and microdermabrasion was great. I wasn't in any pain and overall my skin looks good and my skin is even-toned. Parking has never been a problem for me, because it is located in a plaza. The spa is on the second floor, but there are stairs/elevator available. Tina, the manager, is the sweetest person in the wellness industry I have the pleasure of being connected to. This place is amazing from A to Z, all to the merrit of her and the caring staff. The spa offers amenities from matt pilates to facials and massages. I've done 2 sessions with matt pilates thus far and my legs have never felt more alive. My knees are more alligned and my core feels a lot stronger. Tina has years of experience and expertise in skin care. The tender love and care put into each treatment has shown with the glow on my face and the overall improvement of my skin with each treatment. In reference to body wraps, directly addressing the 1 star review, when I did my body wrap, I was checked on every 15 minutes. I was feeling so warm that I needed water each time and I'm sure if I wasn't hot, they would have adjusted the bed or my wrap to suit me. Let's also note that body wraps aren't the sole proprietors in weight loss and detox. *cough cough* if youre having trouble sweating, hop on a treadmill for 10 minutes. i guarantee that action will also be more effective and less costly and will help jump start your sweat glands the next time you come in for a treatment. im also sure it would be far more effective for weight loss considering how experienced you say you are at receiving body wraps. If you are going for massage, Luis and Sonia are the best! I always feel so good after seeing them! Now the space where the treatments are done. I started seeing Tina for facials back in October. My acne was due to hormones and was cystic and had started about 8-10 months before I started seeing her. After about a month I didn't have daily breakouts and much of my pimples did not regrow. After about 2-2.5 months my skin was flat again! Now we come to six months later, I have my old skin back! Tina, the owner and esthetician, asked me to give her 5 weeks to fix my skin. If she can fix my friend, I will definitely give her a shot.
