I found this place on Groupon. When I called to book, I was told to pay directly at the spa and not to use coupon on the app after 3pm. Thought that was strange . The app had no mention of this but I get it, more money for them. So I asked for the 2 hour full body massage and facial. They said they would except the same price. During the massage, I snoozed a bit. When I awoke, I noticed the lady was not massaging me. She was completely on her phone. After I realized that, I made sure to fidget and fight sleeping to ensure she finished my remaining massage. After the hour was over, I noticed the initial women switched with someone else for the facial. There was no communication about what was going on. As the women were switching, there was a 15 minute delay with no one in the room and hot air in my face. During the facial, the specialist kept leaving the room and did not communicate anything she was doing. She began asking me if I felt sleepy yet. I responded "no", and she continued. I was so worried she would just leave the room again, I couldn't even relax after that. This was so unprofessional. I initially booked this place because of all the great reviews But Will never return. I Had no idea what either women were doing tonight and the fact that I had to constantly fidget to ensure they knew I was awake because my eyes were blocked in order for them to continue working on me, left me so frustrated. I felt so swindled. I Still paid $149 for the 2 hour body massage as a customer and left a tip For both. Hope this helps someone and they don't do this again to someone else. read more

I got a massage here from a Groupon and it was okay/good, but the ambience is mediocre. When I went to the bathroom they didn't have toilet paper, and when I went out to tell someone the lady just handed me paper towels to wipe with. I hate to judge a place based on a bathroom issue, but it's so simple to just keep your bathroom stocked and clean so that people feel comfortable when they go in there. When I arrived, they were not ready for me. The front desk girl could not find my name on the schedule, did not know I was a new client, and also did not have the client paperwork available for me to complete. Everyone was nice, but the service was less than stellar. The wrap for my upper body was way too big and did not have Velcro adjustments like every other place I have been. The table had a bath towel laid down on it, rather than long sheets or long blankets like most estheticians use. Candy was nice, and is very strong with her hands, but it was the roughest facial I have ever had! A few times I was about to tell her to ease off a bit, but then she moved to a new spot on my face just in time. It felt like a stampede of animals rushing over my face! I am leary about her credentials as an esthetician and also in the quality of the products used. She applied the same lotion on my face and upper body for the massage. We all know these are very different types of skin and need different types of lotion. For the clay mask, she completely covered my eyes and mouth on top of the very light cloth, which I have never had done before. Usually, the mask is not brushed over the eyes and mouth. Quite a few times people opened the door to talk to her, and she even left a couple of times to have a conversation during my facial...very unprofessional. She said one of the products she covered my face with needed to sit for 5 minutes. After what seemed like a very long time, I started counting in my head (one one thousand, two one thousand, three...) and counted up to 3:30, so I know I was left lying there for a lot longer than 5 minutes. The foot massage was not actually a massage, but instead leg compression sleeves put over my legs, which I hate putting directly on skin as I have a set of my own at home. I always use clothing with compression sleeves. She told me it was going to last 10 minutes, and when the leg compression machine turned off, I was still in there a few more minutes before she came back in. This facial was more stressful than relaxing as it should have been, and I was really looking forward to it as it was my first 90-minute facial in years! I have had many facials in my time, and this was by far one of the least pleasant. The ladies were all nice, though. read more

I was ready to purchase a Groupon for an appointment on a specific day, when I approached the owner to schedule that day she said she had no availability which at that point I was thankful I didn't buy the Groupon because I was only available that day. She then came back to me and said she was available so we proceeded to book until she asked for my voucher on Groupon and noticed I had just bought it. She then stated that since I just bought it I could no longer have the slot I chose for that week because priority is given to "older Groupon customers". What kind of logic is that? It shouldn't matter when I bought the Groupon if I approached her to scheduled a session like any other customer. I understand being busy but to tier or rank your customers just isn't fair and makes no sense. On top of all this she asked for the voucher code before asking to reschedule which is unprofessional since you should only use the voucher code at the time of the service. TLDR: If you're thinking of getting the Groupon I would go somewhere else. read more

Got a groupon for a 60 min classic facial with face, neck, shoulder, arm and foot massage. Weirdest "facial" I've had in my life. I've gotten facials many times before and extractions are always a part of it. This was really more of a strange face/neck massage. I feel like she washed my face 3 times while massaging it (yes, massaging my face). Then she used a machine to exfoliate...then put a face mask on for what seemed to be forever. While the face mask was on, I got my arms massaged. The leg massage was from this "boot" that was put on me - basically wrapped my legs and air would be blown in and compressed- variations of this. Very strange experience. All I wanted was a facial. I thought it would be a facial with light massaging. I won't be back. Didn't really get a facial. If I wanted to wash my face and put on a face mask, I could've done it for cheaper at home. Also, the office is old, needs upgrading, and doesn't look clean. I felt very uncomfortable from the moment I walked in- weird vibe from the staff... I really wonder if they wash the towels we are asked to wrap ourselves in. I called 3 times during open business hours and finally got a text message to schedule an appointment after the 3rd voicemail I left. This was on a Friday, she said her first avail was a Wednesday afternoon. I asked for a morning so she said Thursday. I assumed she meant the next day. She then replied ok Thursday the 7th, I'll send you confirmation. (September) I never received a confirmation and there is no 7th of September when I showed up on Thursday, she looked at me like I was dumb and kinda like what did I expect from her. I had a facial with Afsoon. When I booked my appointment, she asked me if I can cancel my Groupon purchase, pay her directly instead and she'll match the price. I gladly said I will cancel it because she said Groupon will take a big percentage if I purchase it through them. When I got to my appointment, she told me that I need to pay more for extraction and mask, okay no problem, though you would expect that the "ultra signature facial" will have both or at least one -- at least mask for sure. I've never had a facial anywhere without them putting on a mask. After she did the facial and I was about to pay, she asked me if I have Venmo which I said no. She said her card machine is "broken". She said I'll "try" but it's "broken". And then after I said I don't have Venmo, she told me that she'll charge for additional for paying using the card, which I refused (because at that time, I realized that since the beginning she was lying because she just did not want to pay for the card fee and the machine is indeed working). After I refused to get charged extra, she told me (while holding my card), to go and get some cash, and leave my card with her. Are you kidding me?! Who's in their right mind will leave their card to someone they don't know, to get some cash because they did not tell you that their machine is "broken"? That's ridiculous. We're in the middle of a pandemic now, we are all struggling. That's why I understand and canceled my Groupon right away so she can get 100% of her money instead of Groupon taking some percentage from her. But for her to lie to me so that she doesn't get charged for a card fee and asking me to leave my card to her to get some cash when she should've told me that before my appointment, is pretty upsetting. Asking someone to leave their card to you is a shame when it was not my fault that you did not tell me that you wanted me to pay in cash so you'll not get charged for the card fee. read more
