She does have some physical limitations that requires home health care. This is where Nurse On Call Comes in. On several occasions they have said they would be there with supplies that she needs and they never show up. She has edema and her legs get very swollen and leak and need to be wrapped. Well half the time they don't wrap them and I have to. Sometimes they are so bad that her shoes and socks are sopping wet. Now here is the best one. She has a bad back and is very humped over causing an indentation in her stomach that needs to be lifted and cleaned. Well, a nurse did this a month or so a go and said someone would be back to put something on it, to this date no one has shown up. I didn't know about this until yesterday when she asked me to look at it. She now needs medical attention. It is now open and raw. There is no follow up and the nurses have called my aunt a liar to their supervisor to cover their laziness.

Mine was Dr Payne. This woman takes a much more conservative view on prescribing medication than any other doctor I've ever encountered, and stated that many doctors "do things they shouldn't." She even gratuitously criticized my board certified allergist for allowing a nurse to provide my allergy injections at my home. I had to leave this practice and go elsewhere to get the medication I need and always received from other doctors.

I had to pay the full $165 charge on my credit card, even though I told her I knew they were in network and a specialist copay for me is $50. She lied and claimed to have called my insurance. I later called my insurance, who told me it should have been $50 and to call Dr. Kales office for a refund. I did, 3 weeks ago, and they assured me they would bill my insurance and issue me a refund in 3-6 weeks!!! Called today, and they have not even processed it yet! Billing manager said she would "look into it."!! At this point, I am disputing it with my credit card company to get my money back. This doctor just wants you to keep coming back to get as much money as possible out of you. Ended up going to an orthopedic specialist and am having surgery to correct my problem. Dr. Kales wanted me to get shoe inserts and a bunch of other stuff to string me along and take my money. I'm filing a grievance with the BBB. DO NOT GO HERE!! Should be 0 UPDATE: After about 5 months of disputing this with the insurance company and credit card, and filing a Better Business Bureau complaint, Dr. Kales so "graciously" refunded my $110 overcharge they should not have taken from me in the first place. I spent countless time on the phone over this matter, and their letter accompanying the check offered NO APOLOGY, but rather acted as though they had done the correct thing. WRONG. Instead, what they did was commit INSURANCE FRAUD. Again, stay away from this place at ALL COSTS!!
