Went in to get my free 8th the other day and It was finally in their system but of course there's always SOMETHING you gotta do for the free 8th. I had to make another small purchase... I am actually shocked.. The Least they could've done was use my last purchase I made a couple days before when I went in for the FIRST time to get my free 8th but since it wasn't in your system yet, I ended up having to buy my own 8th. It's official, this place sucks. Absolutely unhelpful and it's all about money for them. They leave little details out of deals so when you come back and are expecting a certain deal they explained the first time, well just expect everything they told you at first is gonna be completely different when you go back in next time.... To start, staff is not very friendly. The girl that helped me today had a really shitty attitude. For first three visits you are supposed to get bogo was denied this both times I went. Was denied the free pre roll for my birthday as they didn't hVe any to give but their deal for today was spend $80 get 2 free pre rolls but they had those available but didn't offer one of those in place for birthday pre roll. Also not sure if they give a veteran discount, it says VETERAN on my DL, I tipped the bud tender $4 and not even a thank you. This location is AWFUL. I normally go to the McDowell location which is wonderful but the experience here was completely different. Their system was down so you could not get pick up orders at the front. I understand issues happen but after waiting 45 mins and seeing people who came in after me get service before me it was frustrating. Multiple people in the lobby noticed the same and complained, and it wasn't until then that someone took me back. Why would they not go in order received?? I saw both medical and rec patients going in before me so it was not a priority issue, it was an unorganized issue. Everyone in the lobby was pissed. Very poorly run. read more

Placed a pick up order today (3/5/21) and when I showed up there was a line of at least 15 people outside waiting. Decided I would go have lunch, then come back for my order. Came back an hour later and there were just as many people waiting outside!! So I ran some more errands and came back 5 hours later and what do you know.... JUST AS MANY PEOPLE STILL WAITING OUTSIDE. That is just CRAZY! They don't even accept recreational, it's all medical! So it's not like they've had some crazy influx of new patients recently! They should definitely have more people staffed and they also need to figure out a way to get pick up orders in and out quickly. They have no idea what they're doing at this dispensary. read more

After spending thousands as a medical Marijuana patient, I went back after several years at another dispensary to get a battery for my vaping pen because my dispensary, Reef Dispensary, was out of them. Upon arriving at HFL, I was questioned about my driver's license expiration date and I explained, due to covid DOT was extending the expiry date for one year. It didn't matter. They would not allow me to purchase their product due to lack of knowledge... When I go to buy a fifth of jack Daniel's they don't bother carding me at 68 yrs old. Maybe a manager should take tole out of their day to check policy at DOT concerning this. I will not go back and I will recommend Reef Dispensary instead,, they're far cheaper also... read more

Hands down the best budtender experience I've had at any of the dispensaries I've visited in the East Valley to include other HFL locations. HFL flower selection is also top notch at all 3 locations & prices are some of the best I've found in Mesa. My budtender was James, the interaction was educational & genuine, and he's a great example of someone coming to the cannabis industry from a completely different path - and as he explained - he wasn't a long term cannabis user prior to becoming a budtender, so he had to study & learn the products he's selling - although he now tries what he can for personal reference - still furthering his knowledge & ability to make great recommendations- something I greatly appreciate. My new favorite location out of the three due to the fact the crimson always charges 10 dollars more on the same concentration McDowell and Ellsworth has the friendliest staff when you try to speak with a manager at crimson their rude and always have two or more employees attack you in the conversation I literally live 7 minutes from crimson and gave to drive to the two further location due to the rude staff and unreasonable price you literally have to look at each location and menu to not be over charged on the same product read more
