And allowing a toxic environment to learn for students. They won on 2022 for 2.1 mil, basically indemnifying there wasted time and energy "studying" something they couldn't get there. I'm just saying the fact she's coming from this shady ass school and the fact she makes decision on people ability to work or obtain disability benefits plays a huge role on her credibility as well as ability to evaluate or treat patients accurately. The people here are bad and so mean. Especially name Valeria D with the insurance. I got appointment with them last week and tell the front desk that I don't have insurance at the moment. I asked them if they are okay with no insurance and I will just pay upfront. The day before my appointment someone called me to confirm my appointmet and I said Yes. The day of the appointment when I'm about to leave the house I received a call from this Valeria D ( she don't want to give her last name to me - unethical) and asking my insurance information. And I said can I just bring my insurance card because I just got a coverage now. And she said on the phone being sarcastic and mean. Ohh no, we need to get your insurance info because in this clinic we don't accept a lot of medical insurance. And if yours is not we need to cancel your appointment. So I give my insurance information and she said "is that a government insurance we don't accept those and I said NOPE it's not a government I'm paying high anount on this monthly because I'm self employed. And I said Okay if you don't accept this card I will just pay out of pocket. And she said, even you pay out of pocket we cannot refer you to anyone because you are not covered by insurance. Yes if you press the option you are a provider surely they answer right away so I even watch while my other familly member calling from outside the building I was inside the building . both ladies at front was on the their cell phone NOT BUSY but didnt answer the call. I have been going to this clinic for four months now. I came in with two issues, diabetes and serious mental health issues, including insomnia and ptsd related anxiety disorder stemming from a violent home invasion that occurred two years ago where I was tied up, pistol whipped and held at gunpoint while my house was robbed. The first issue, my diabetes. I was prescribed 2000 mg a day of metformin. It gave me the worst stomach cramps of my life and I stayed on the toilet for two months straight. Finally I went on a forum because I was desperate for relief and found out about extended release metformin that doesn't cause any of these complications. I was never told about the extended release by my doctor, I had to request it and it has helped tremendously along with diet and exercise. Next issue, my mental health. I have not slept for two years since the violent home invasion but the doctor refuses to give me sleeping pills. The first "doctor" put me on antidepressants even though I told her I wasn't depressed and another medication for night terrors that made me gain 20lbs in a month and have me heart palpitations which could've killed me. The second doctor prescribed buspiron daily and hydroxyzine for panic attacks. Both do about as much as benadryl and help me very little. They seem more like placebos than anything. The behavioral health counselor I went to was an intern that tried to teach me how to "breathe" through anxiety attacks. If you were almost murdered in your home do you think learning how to breathe is going to help? I NEED REAL FREAKING MEDICATION!!! Finally after being totally fed up with my most recent appt I decided to look up this clinic. Come to find out, it is a teaching clinic with no real doctors with experience and they don't prescribe controlled substances which they failed to mention in the beginning. Who are controlled substances made for exactly? If my personally violent trauma that I experienced doesn't qualify then who does? I feel like people that are low income and get Medicaid do not receive the same quality of treatment as do people with expensive insurance. It's as if low income automatically means drug seeking, so I will be looking for a new doctors office tomorrow. read more

I went to this clinic in April 2018 to establish a new primary care physician and get my current medications refilled. At the time I was changing jobs, health care insurance, and preparing for a business trip with a new company; all that to say, I was happy they were taking new clients on short notice, but that's where the good news ends for me. Upon arrival there were the normal forms to fill out: privacy, health back ground, etc... What caught me off guard was the level of detail these forms were asking for. The Sliding Scale Discount form I didn't disclose my income as I wouldn't be utilizing that service. For the Patient Registration form, I asked the front desk why income was necessary, and I was told it was to help the clinic get grants and I had to disclose. Giving over that level of personal information feels strange, but I'll be first to admit it's probably my lack of experience with a non-profit health care facility. My experience was generally good until it came time to discuss my refills. One medication I've been taking for the majority of my adult life; I take 1/2 a pill as needed. The ARNP said she would not refill and offered a prescription the equivalent to an over the counter antihistamine; which is adorable. When I voiced my concerns, she got indignant and said "You will NOT be getting this from me." Before I left, they had another person come to talk to me about signing up for yoga and stress reduction therapy - that's nice, but I've been down that road, and now in my 40's, I know what works for me; which I relayed. When I went to leave, they provided a summary of the visit. When I read through mine, I noticed for the mediation in question they had put that I take 3 pills daily! Not even close - I'd been a coma if that were true. I pointed this out to them, but I'm not sure if they ever fixed it - I won't be going back. Summation - If you legitimately (or not I suppose) taking any kind of controlled substance - find a different Dr./Clinic. I have been a patient at the Auburn HealthPoint for about 7 years,Doctor Aski has been my primary care provider I don't get sick very often or have a need to go be seen but when I do she has always been right about my care I trust her judgement as a medical provider. I am extremely skeptical when it comes to doctors and my health care and I am sensitive to people. I appreciate her care and medical advise and never disappointed with her care. I had 8 skin tags removed today and I barley felt a thing her nurse is great to. The front desk staff are nice but there is a lot of papers to fill out at every visit. More so than any doctors office I've been to maybe because it's low income and affordable I filled out 16 pages of paperwork today and I just was there last Monday . I am also very disappointed the way that they account for their sliding scale fee being self-employed I don't have medical at work and the process of applying for the sliding scale is if you are self-employed they go off your profit and loss statement prior to any deductions which is extremely confusing to me because after all of my deductions and all expenses . I would qualify for the sliding scale but they don't look at it that way. I never have had a problem qualifying for their sliding scale so I'm assuming they have recently changed some things. which caught me off-guard and causing a large medical bill that I was not expecting or planned for. I still am in shock the way that they handled the situation and I've never heard of anything like that before. they don't understand that if you're self-employed there's money you have to invest back in your business every single month and that's what the profit and loss statement is for . The insurance staff that helps people apply for medical were kind that process went fine. When I went to my appointment today front desk staff informed me that I would be charged for my visit that day which I thought it was a follow-up and that I wasn't going to get charged but I guess it was because I was seeing my main care provider so that kind of irritated me and I had a hundred and one papers to fill out papers I already had filled out and nothing had changed . I also paid to have this procedure done last week that was one of the things on the list at my appointment and I was not able to get it done so that's why I had to reschedule to come back and I was recharged so basically I was double charged for the same issues that I needed to have done last week which is fine I guess. I am so disappointed in this place and almost tempted to leave a zero-star review. But I've gotten better service here in the past and hope they improve upon their service in the future. I called earlier because I was having some painful symptoms in my ear, nothing to do with coronavirus at all. I was told by the representative over the phone that the doctors were not seeing patients. But that the doctor would do a phone visit with me. I would like to know how the doctor can look inside of my ear properly over the phone? I understand that the Dodgers do not want to catch Coronavirus. But what about those of us who actually have other health issues that need to be addressed and looked at in person? Now I have to go to an urgent care and hope that my insurance will cover the cost. An urgent cares centers are a nightmare to deal with, especially waiting for hours and hoping you will get some type of good service. I had such a poor experience with this clinic. I had just moved to Auburn from out of state and immediately got sick upon arrival in WA State. Severe allergies and very bad breathing issues. I am not one to ever really see a doctor if I fall ill, but I was miserable and suspected I had cracked a few ribs due to coughing. I was having very bad nose bleeds, my whole face was puffy, and coughing up blood and was really worried I had something very serious was going on, since I never get sick. My SO's new co-workers had been sick, so I figured he brought some infection home with him. I saw Dr. Erin Dailey. She was THE WORST doctor I have ever encountered. She dismissed all of my symptoms except for the nose bleeds. She (and another doctor she brought in) tried to convince me I had HIV. She pressured me into an HIV test, and because I was ill and desperate, I just let her do it, among other things. Of course, negative, and I tried to tell her that I may be anemic because I was cold a lot and kinda pale looking. I was dismissed. She forced a Tdap vaccine on me instead. She refused to get me a chest xray or nasal scope. She diagnosed me with asthma and gave me a script for Flonase, pseudophedrine and an inhaler for bronchitis. Guys, none of it helped. I was sick for another year from complications from whatever I had that was diagnosed. No other Dr. could figure out what was wrong because my illness was too far along. Just thinking of this interaction still makes my blood boil. When I moved from Auburn a few months later because we bought a home in a city closer to work, I requested my medical records from Health Point. The main Health Point hospital told me they were ready to pickup and waiting for me at the Auburn clinic. I go to the clinic to get my copy, and they refuse to provide me with a print out of three sheets sent over by the main hospital. They admitted to having the fax, but refused to give it to me. The office girl kept arguing with me, so I called the records clerk I worked with at the main hospital while standing in their lobby, who proceeded to tell them to provide me with the print outs she sent over. The office helper reluctantly gave them to me. Looking back on this, I probably should have reported them for malpractice from my appointment. But it has been a while and the only thing I can really do at this point is post a warning to others to find somewhere else. The Mulitcare main hospital downtown is MUCH BETTER. read more

I've used this clinic a few times and it's consistently pretty dang poor. Top to bottom. From the "doctors" to the billing department, it's a shady operation. I think the biggest factors are genuine incompetency, I don't believe the staff is intentionally uncaring or malicious, they're simply inexperienced and the standards are exceptionally low amongst management (and they might be more than a bit arrogant). Few brief examples are: 1. My doctor orders an ultrasound. Gets results. Does not follow up with patient. "Doctor" Wesley Jones felt it was proper to order an ultrasound, get the results, and never respond to his patient. I had to contact a "supervisor" to get the results, months later, and even then I couldn't have her attention long enough to get 2 minutes of her time (she couldn't stop typing the whole phone call). Additionally, not one person on the staff apologized for failing to notify me of the ultrasound results or return follow up calls. Not one. 2. Expanding on the poor quality of physicians they staff, you're likely to get a doctor who is training and uncertain. Their knowledge is limited, you ask questions, and they'll have to leave the room to ask a higher up and then come back to give you the answer. It's a really, really weird experience. I even had one Google symptoms on the computer. Unreal. PS If you're a male, and you have your foreskin, you're going to encounter another set of hurdles as they act like this is a foreign part of human anatomy. It's embarrassing how poorly versed they are with normal male anatomy. 3. The Billing Department. Oh man. It's a headache and a half. They were sending my bills to God knows where, but I was not receiving them. Until one day I got a collections letter with added interest attached. So I called up and asked why I never got any notices of my bills and they sent it straight to collections? I went in circles with this one. They said my mail was undeliverable. Then how did collections find me? I ask what address they are sending it to so I can verify they correct address as I suspected they entered it incorrectly and she responds, "The one on file." So I ask again what that is? She says she doesn't know because (quote) "You are not a patient here." So if I'm not a patient here, why we even having this conversation? Mind numbingly frustrating. I ask for a supervisor after 3 repeats of this dialogue. So, come to find out, their clerks had entered my address incorrectly (ex. my house number is 114, they were sending it to 1_14. Of course it was "undeliverable".) What a joke, and they were going to just let me continue not receiving bills. 4. Oh, and before I forget, you'll never likely see the same doctor twice. So any hope of developing a patient-doctor relationship, any banter, is slim. Yes, this is the Jiffy Lube of doctor's offices. No relationships will be built, you're just a number. Due to unfortunate circumstances I have found myself at the age of 45 having to use public assistance. At 14 I started my own cleaning business and I have worked full-time since that point until recently. Due to an auto-immune disease that is getting worse I am unable to work at this time, additionally due to the economy and the need to change jobs because of my health I could not make the payments on my house and lost my house and all of my money in the last 2 years. With my head held high I have tried to get help from DSHS, SSD, Department of Vocational Rehab, WorkSource anyone to write out a road map to tell me what steps need to be taken when you have no money, no health insurance, no job and are close to being homeless. I get a different answer where ever I go. Sadly, if I was from another country entering the US - I would be eligible immediately for all of the benefits with no questions asked and treated like royalty. Not the case for a US Citizen that has worked all of my adult life paid into the system and due to health reasons is now looking for help to navigate the system and get back on my feet so I can hopefully return to work. I was referred to Dr. Covert at HealthPoint via Dept of Vocational Rehab. as they are a sliding scaled health clinic. I needed medication so I wouldn't get any worse. Dr. Covert rushed into the room never looked at me in the eyes or shook my hand. She acted as if I had a disease she might catch. She asked questions then spoke over me. When she realized I had a neurological disease, her words were since you are a "CHARITY CASE" it is going to take months to find a Neurologist who is going to want to work with you as a 'CHARITY CASE". First of all, I am a human being. An educated woman, who 2 years ago was making 6 figures, owned a house and was able to work 60 hours a week. Today, my disease does not allow this. I AM NOT A CHARITY CASE. Nor is anyone else - this is not the way to address any patient. This is not compassionate. I have a Medical Service Dog who has been with me for 3 years. This dog has successfully warned me up to 5 minutes before I have a seizure. She said she did not believe me or believe that dogs could do that and that I should have my license removed if I have another seizure. Again, she never looked at me, looked at my dog, took the time to talk to me as a human being - instead she called me a Charity Case 2 more times. I was there to get prescriptions so I could continue with my medication. She did not write them. Instead she told me to come back in a week and she would write them then. It is $20 to come back. I have no income, and I'm almost homeless. Why would I want to spend $40 in 2 weeks to come in for prescriptions. When she could have written them then. But, again she wasn't interested in talking or listening to me. She was only interested in getting the heck out of the room and away from the "CHARITY CASE" and the person she thought might have a disease that was catching. Let me tell you, although I am not well. I shower, put makeup on do my hair and get dressed nicely as still have nice clothes from when I made good money. I don't look like I have been sleeping on the street eating out of a garbage can. If I can help it I will NEVER EVER go back to her. I have to go back to the clinic but it won't be to her I can promise you. Her nurse and the staff was outstanding! read more

This might be a great option if you qualify for low income or have insurance, but if not stay away. I went in for an ear infection just so I could get the antibotics. They ended up making me talk about my blood pressure (which they were than able to add to the bill). I was told that I would have to pay $75 nothing was ever said about anything else. They than had me sign this paper as I am getting called back to the room, and they didn't bother going over with me and I was in PAIN so was just trying to get seen as fast as possible. I now have a bill of just under $200 for being seen for less than 15 minutes. To get diagnosis with an ear infection and high blood pressure. Both of which I knew I had already. They are unwilling to work with me and treating me like I don't know what I'm talking about. For the codes they billed insurances wouldn't pay more than 100 for why me someone who can't afford insurance but makes to much to qualify for low income forced to pay double that?????? read more

Unfortunately, with everyone having medical insurance now, wait times for dental appointments have sky rocketed. Having been a patient here since I was in high school, I was hoping for better things from this office. First, appointments are made 1-2 months out from the call. Initially, I had been seen by one doctor who told me my tooth needed a filling, so I scheduled that appointment 6 weeks out when the doctor at that appointment then told me I needed a root canal. At my third appointment, a different doctor corrected the referral back to a filling and at the fourth appointment, the original "root canal" doctor told me absolutely not a filling. Over the last year I have had several appointments made, going back and forth between what the doctors said I had needed. After driving around for twenty minutes today looking for parking, I came inside to be told that my doctor was not here today and my appointment had been cancelled. This is the THIRD time my appointment had been cancelled and I have been informed upon arrival. Not only is it an inconvenience, but I live in Bonney Lake and work by JBLM, so the unnecessary running around is becoming very irritating. I went in for my first appt to refill a prescription and they scheduled me with a naturopathic dr who can't even prescribe meds after they said they were scheduling me with an MD. They then gave me the next appt with an MD which meant I had to wait a few hours in the waiting room. The MA that checked me in went over my medical/social history and said "you're due for an HIV test and tetanus booster." Why the heck do you need a routine HIV test when you're married, don't have other sexual partners, and aren't a drug user. Not to mention, they didn't even have my vaccine record on file because it was my first visit..how are you going to tell someone they need a vaccine booster when you don't have my vaccine record? That's not safe. Then the dr finally comes in and absolutely refused to write me my prescription refill because she "didn't believe" in sleeping meds when I have been on them for almost 10 years due to my night-shift job! She just awkwardly lectured me on how I will crash my car and die in my sleep if I continue taking these sleeping pills, which I have taken for a long time without a single issue. Then, she awkwardly sends in some random person who isn't even any type of therapist or doctor, to give me obvious juvenile tips on how to fall asleep naturally, basically belittling me and treating me like I'm an absolute idiot. The lady just kept saying "I know you know all of this already, there's not much more I can tell you to help you fall asleep." As a nurse, absolutely WORST medical/clinic/doctor encounter I've ever had. Do not go here unless you absolutely have to and don't have another option.
