If they fill out the paperwork incorrectly or miss something they charge you again and then they're going to tell you it's for an extension. Just to get another 25 dollar fee. I was called and notified paperwork was filled out wrong and was denied my claim from disability office. I was told to have it redone and all questions answered. The stuff there are very unprofessional. The follow up activities and program is not properly communicated to the patients. The charges are extremely high. And they don't have the knowledge about insurance and deductible payments. I confirmed at the time of service that my x-rays are covered through my insurance they said that I will not have to pay but later they billed me. I explained to them numerous times that the front office confirmed there will be no payment involved for the x-ray. However they did not take care of it. Overall I am very unsatisfied with the service. Moreover, I had to wait and ask numerous times for the printouts of the physical activities that I need to do even when the doctor told them to give it to me. NEVER RELY ON THIS COMPANY!! I don't know if it's an issue with Corona specifically - or if it's all of Healthpointe - but DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PROVIDER! I scheduled an appointment with a neurologist (Dr.Nick) back at the end of October - and, as expected - the appointment was a month away. I arrived early for my appointment and was told there were no doctors in (only office staff). I explained the situation and they said they didn't even have me in the system?!! After another person walked over and checked again: I was in the system, but they hadn't built the appointment!! I asked for another appointment with whomever (since this is was a first time visit - and I didn't care location or doctor) and I was told the next available was a MONTH AWAY (again) - even though it was THEIR ERROR!! Then, she tells me she doesn't know how to add me into the system for the appointment, but "trust her" "she'll take care of it" -- of COURSE -- I call and schedule with a different company/neuro and I call to cancel the new appointment and ((yet again)) I'm told I'm not in the system and there's no appointment for me! Can you imagine if I'd have taken her at her word and waited ANOTHER MONTH?!! AWFUL! read more

No problem getting appointments here and I haven't had any long wait times. Office staff is friendly and dr Giammanco was professional. Getting these people to call you back and set a surgery date is mission impossible though. I've been told 6 times that I would be called back "within 2 days" to set a date for my septoplasty but they haven't called me back once. Every time I have to call them back and every time there is a new excuse as to why it's taking them longer, and again I will get told that I will be called back "within 2 days", which, of course, never happens. At my last appointment, which will be 4 weeks ago in 2 days, I was told that they were putting me on the urgent list and that was the last I have heard of them. VERY disappointing. read more

Extremely long and unnecessary wait time. It's baffling when you're scheduled weeks in advanced for an appointment, arrive 10 min early so as not to be late and keep the doctor waiting or worse have your appointment canceled only for an hour to have gone by and continue to wait to see the doctor. It's very rare I will ever write a bad review for a clinic or a doctor's office as I am in the medical field so I understand how frustrated and busy it can be. This place was the worst outpatient clinic experience ever. I knew it was a bad idea after hanging up the phone with them when they had to verify my insurance before scheduling an appointment. They seated my fiancé and I in a room. An African-American nurse walked in to take his vitals and she reeked of cigarettes. My honey had been vomiting for 3 days and he clearly requested another nurse because he could smell the cigarette smoke off her and that he felt like puking. Mind you I'm an ex-smoker of 10 years and it smelt like she went swimming in an ashtray. Finally we see the physician and the physician gave the diagnosis of a stomach ulcer. My honey was in so much pain he asked the doctor if he can give him something to ease the stomach pain. The doctor stated verbatim very rude, "What do you think this is... A community clinic." Mind you we are commercial insurance PPO carriers with No deductible. The nurses and doctor were basically trying to kick us out of the room because of their patient overload. My honey was too sick, nauseous, and dizzy to even move. He was literally puking every few minutes. When you take an oath as a health care provider you care for your patients not kick them out of the rooms. Everything wasn't organized. To be honest the clinic is full of medical assistants instead of actual educated nurses. That is a tale sign that this clinic is cheap on staff and rather focus on quantity than quality healthcare. The only pleasant experience was the very polite male nurse who initially documented the chief complaint and the office manager who took me to the back first. Don't waste your time here. read more

I gave a ton of effort and patience before deciding to write this review. I have been waiting now a month to have a surgery scheduled through this clinic and today I had an entire day of work wasted for a 16 minute appointment to be told that my surgery had not been scheduled. I was then told I would be called in 2 hours with the date of my surgery... after 3 hours I called the office and was told that the surgery department was working on it and that I would be called the same day. Currently it is now 9:45 and I have not received a call. I called the office again and talking with a night receptionist I found out that nothing had been done to my file all day and that no one would be working tomorrow and so I would probably hear back on Monday. Why does this office think that is OK to directly lie to patients who have been very calm and collected through this whole process... I will now be waiting til monday to have a surgery scheduled that will be two weeks after that... all in all it might be 2 months of agony til get the treatment I need.... this is unexceptable and I am at the point that I wonder if another center might be a better choice read more

Went to their website to check out info to make an appointment for my sons sports physical and clicked on "request an appointment" which leads you to input a callback #. Got the call only to be told they do not make appointments for sports physicals, only walk-ins. I confirm that they do not close for lunch as it's Noon and then head to the location. We go walk-in and get taken back and asked to fill out a bunch of paperwork. About 30 mins later they come in and check that all is signed correctly and take my paperwork and credit card for the $85 payment. About 30 minutes later they come back in and tell me that they do not have a doctor who does physicals for minors on Monday's only Wednesdays. It's not ok to wait 60 minutes in an exam room only to be told that no doctor is available. Even the person on the phone knew I was coming with my son for a school sports physical and didn't tell me they only do them on Wednesdays. Big waste of time. read more

Our family has been very pleased with the care and compassion of the doctors and staff at the Corona office. We have also been to the Perris and Anaheim Healthpoint locations and were also pleased with the care. In fact, we have gone here to see a specialist and have been so pleased that our family plans to change our primary doctor to a Healthpointe physician. Dr Nick, neurologist, has been very caring and concerned about a family member's difficult and painful condition. He has referred us to Dr Jafari at Healthpoint in Anaheim. She has also been good and kind. We are also very impressed with the staff at the Corona location. They greet us, remember us and are always friendly. We have never had an excessive wait time. The only reason four stars instead of five is because a communication error caused a delay in an important treatment. Someone dropped the ball. But, upon realizing this, Marco from Healthpoint took the reins and has worked diligently to remedy the error. He even called us on a Sunday! with information updates. All in all, Healthpoint has been a very good experience under very challenging circumstances. Good, COMPASSIONATE care is not easy to come by these days. We are grateful! read more

If you've ever been through the worker's compensation system, you know that getting medical care seems to be the last thing on the minds of your worker's comp insurance company. My case was no exception. After going to worker's comp doctors and being treated like a criminal, rather than a patient, I had nearly given up. But, a year later, Dr. Doshi at Heathpointe popped-up on the list of worker's comp providers. I thought, "oh, here's another guy who's going to harass me or get upset when I fail a balance test" (head injuries...are no fun). But, it wasn't like that at all. Dr. Doshi was great. When I went into this office sometime ago all I did was sit around and wait for someone to give me service. You'll end up spending more time waiting than actually seeing a doctor. My son passed away due to a tragic accident and my lawyer had sent me here even though I told him I was not mentally stable. I will admit I did get an x-ray that cost me a little over $100. But I could not keep myself from crying when the doctor was talking to me explaining my injuries. So I had to leave because I couldn't keep my composure. Dr. Perez took that as a consultation and took it vantage of me. And charge me an outrageous price with no treatment and no medicine for my pain. However I was told to come back but cannot come back because I cannot talk about what me and my family went through at the time. It was still so fresh and still so mentally harmful for me to talk about my son that had passed. But then you got these people who will take advantage of you and do not care what position you are in. They only care about the money and ripping you off on treatment even if you didn't get any. Shame on you Dr. Perez. Then I call their corporate office to bring up the charges and they never reach back out to me. Very unprofessional place to walk into. read more

I went in and filled my sheets out then an hour and a half later I ask what I'm waiting for, I go back and wait another half hour, then I finally get picked up, Only this isn't for both things I need done, just one of them. And when I pointed out the wait time, I was instantly yelled at and given attitude by on of the doctors or nurses I'm not sure saying they all got on their lunch???? Everyone????
