Okay, so we've all heard/seen these Foot Spas around Long Island and aside from $26 for an hour foot massages, I had never endeavored to go to one... what in the world was I waiting for? I got the Combo Pack: 1/2 hour foot 1/2 hour back massages. First off let's address the elephant in the room, and that is that any spa or salon, a one hour massage starts at $60. So already I am a winner!. My feet were cleaned with a hot wet towel that felt luxurious and while I laid in the comfort of the Zen music, dim lighting and good company my massage therapist worked me over like (insert bad joke punchline that you could possibly think of) here. I'm ashamed to admit that there were interesting sounds of pleasure emitted from my body but I was in heaven and left there debating on giving up getting my nails done every couple of weeks and allocating my funds to a weekly massage. I went to the Sayville location as noted by this review so I cannot speak for other facilities that boast of these well-priced massages. This place is no frills. It doesn't present a sophisticated ambiance, with the massage area comprising about eight tables (the sheets are changed right in front of you) set equidistance apart and unpartitioned in a dimly lit room. Remember: you're here for a cheap massage. The massages offered at this little spa go above and beyond expectations. While soaking your feet in warm tea water, you'll be treated to a deep-tissue neck/upper back massage. Then you'll hop onto the table for a foot, leg, and lower back rub with a few stretches thrown in for good measure. you really can't beat the prices that this place has. my friend and i have been a few times. normally we do the 1 hour foot massage. she had a gift card for a full back 1 hour massage so i decided to do the same. for the massage, we were topless and in underwear and had a towel laying over our backs. the beginning of the massage was really nice. very relaxing. things started getting a little odd in the middle of the massage when the man started using oil. i've only ever gotten one other back massage and i remember them using oil so i figured it was no big deal. he was rubbing the oil on my back and then he slid the towel down lower and pulled my thong down. i really thought that was a little strange and i should have been asked if i was comfortable lowering my underwear down even more. nothing terrible happened, i just found it a bit odd that he moved them down himself about two times. i also found it a little strange that the two men really seemed to focus on our lower backs, especially our butt area. maybe this was just a mistake but i really don't think i'm going to return. both my friend and i are also pretty bruised on our lower backs. i read that this is common during a deep tissue massage but i don't think this should have happened. overall, it's very affordable and i recommend the foot massage. if i ever return, which i don't think i will, i will be sure to request a woman if possible. if i can't be accommodated, i'll just go elsewhere. read more

I used to love this place- you could get a great foot massage and decent back rub( incl shoulders, arms, legs, head) for $28! The place was there for years and still is but I guess had changed hands. All of a sudden, there is a list of different prices and whatever was included into $28 deal separated into $45 back, $60 combo etc. I had a $50 gift certificate and anticipated at least the same value of service if not greater. After first 30 min of spreading Vaseline on my back with his elbow and wiping with a hot towel I inquired when are we going to start the massage- the "therapist" brought an interpreter to explain to me that my $50 certificate covers this only. I'm not going back, but I have $100 more of gift certificates to use there, which I was told are non refundable. Long story short, this was a wasted $50. read more

I have been to this foot spa many times and can honestly say that for $28 plus tip you will be treated to an excellent reflexology foot treatment plus. Yes, the interior is no frills and you definitely get a better ambience at other places but honestly. the only reason I can see anybody giving this location anything less than a 5 star rating would be because this business competes with their own body work business. It's obvious these people are not professionally trained, licensed massage therapists. They KILL you. They use their elbow to dig into your back bones and when they dig into your bone, it's painful! I also find many of their massage techniques annoying. They use their nails when massaging your feet. They massage each toe and in between toes-- Creepy. I've been there more than once and tell myself I'm never going back there but sometimes I'm desperate and cannot get an appointment at the last minute somewhere else. There used to be a guy there, Jason, that was decent, but he is no longer there. And he could also be rough at times too. Last time I was there I called and requested him and they said okay but when I got there, they told me he wasn't there anymore so they lied on the phone. Today after making 3 phone calls and not being able to get a last-minute appointment with a reputable massage therapist, I decided out of desperation to give this place another shot. When I walked in, I told the woman at the register I wanted a gentle massage. I had a female give me a massage and it was too gentle. She did that thing with her nails when massaging my feet. I told her not to touch my toes. I wasn't thrilled with her massage. When I went to pay at the register, the girl tells me it's $28 and the woman at the register tells me $29. I didn't say a word and paid the $29. I consider myself a generous tipper when I'm pleased. I often pay way more than 20 percent when I'm happy with the services. I didn't think this woman did such a a great job. I was not pleased with this woman, but I still handed her a $6 tip on $29 which is a 20 percent tip. She looked down. She didn't say thank you. She then walks over to an Asian male who also works there, puts out her hand to show him the tip and he starts laughing. She walks in the back. I said to him " Is there a problem?" He shook his head no with a smirk on his face. I said are you sure there's not a problem?" And he shook his head no. Also, on a previous occasion, the woman at the register had the nerve to say to me " Why are you charging it? It's only $28." These people are extremely rude. I gave her a 20 percent tip she didn't even deserve, and they have the audacity to treat me that way. My advice is spend a little more money, and go to a professional, licensed massage therapist. This place sucks!!!! I will never step foot in that place again!!! read more

My one experience with the Sayville location was not as good as my experience in the Bayport location. When I went inside for my appointment, the place was basically empty, just had one woman getting a massage. They had plenty of open seats/beds, but decided to put me right next to her...they should have spread out for more privacy...why not? The massage experience was decent, but would have been much better if the masseuse wasn't whispering to the neighboring masseuses for over 20 minutes straight...it definitely took away from the experience for sure. If it wasn't for these things, I'd rate this location with a full 5 stars. I'd definitely go back to the Bayport location...seemed better overall. read more

I found this place to be excellent. Not your glitch and glamour, but a great massage and service all around. The woman I had definitely understood pressure points and reflexology and she gave an incredible foot massage and neck massage, followed by hot towels and relaxation. I highly recommend this place. For $28 for a 1 hour massage, I will be coming back for more. read more

They are an unlicensed massage parlor with help that speaks no English. They worked on my wife's back and bruised the bones so badly she had them xrayed to make sure they didn't crack her ribs. When she told them to stop she said tee he and kept on going. She had to get up off the table in order to stop the girl.take WARNING cheap is cheap. You only get what you pay for. I used to like going to this facility but things have changed. New sign with different prices etc., workers standing over you looking for a big tip and showing dissatisfaction when you give 20%!! I am SO MAD at the Healthy Foot Spa. I have been a returning Costumer for over 3 years. We loved this place. However, This mothers day I made an appointment for my mom and my sisters (5 of us in total) confirmed multiple times with the woman on the phone. When we arrived THEY made a mistake and over booked. They basically looked at us and said "Thats weird, too bad." and did absolutely nothing to resolve the situation. 100% Will not return and will not recommend... It's mothers day and this was the gift for our mom. Mistakes happen but they didn't take an responsibility and did nothing to fix the situation. UGH! NEVER AGAIN. read more

LOVE this place!! I try to limit myself to only every other month massages here, but it's such a great deal! For only $28, you get a full body massage with reflexology on your feet for a FULL HOUR! Yes, it is dim lighting in the back with two cots per curtained area, but they respect your privacy/modesty. You start out sitting with your feet soaking in warm water while they work on your back for 20 minutes. Then you lay on your back and they work on your feet for another 20 minutes. The last 20 minutes are spent on your stomach while they work on your entire back. Again, love this well-priced massage place, will definitely return soon!! read more

Started going here about 4 years ago. About six months it started to go downhill (fast). Not a very clean place. You're very brave if you put your feet on the floor. Same music every time. "Massage therapists" talk to each other while you're getting a massage. They also don't seem happy. The massage is ALWAYS THE SAME regardless of who the therapist is. You can set your watch based on their technique. 20 minutes: sitting, 30 minutes: feet (laying on your back) and about 10 minutes laying on your back. Huge language barrier. You can't walk in and say "I went for a long run, can you focus on my back?" read more

Weirdest place I've ever been. My sister in law was moving and gave me a gift certificate she wasn't using. I walked in and they bought me in the back. The place was so dark I could barely see . I had to walk against a wall because it was so narrow and there were just a row of beds less then a foot from each other . 1 curtain was there and like 10 beds . I sat in a chair and they put my feet in a bucket that was lined with a black garbage bag that they filled with water . First thing lady said was "take off ur shirt" I tried to explain to her I was there for a foot massage but she did not speak English and kept insisting I take my shirt off. Eventually I did and held my shirt over my breast. She rub my shoulders and my back while my feet soaked in a bucket for a few minutes.. Then they had me lay on my cot and gave me a body massage the lady next to me was so close that if I stuck my hand out I could touch her cot.. The massage very very painful... it was the freakiest place and I saw on another site a woman complaining about the same issues ( she filed police report ) however she was touched inappropriately under the towel ,fortunately I was not..do not go there thinking your getting a foot massage. this was one of the best foot massages at a chinese place the foot reflexology they did was soo relaxing soaking in hot warm water at first wrapped in like a plastic bag they soak your feet in a bucket at first i didnt know what to expect i walked in went in the back it was quiet and black with a few people getting work done. while my feet were soaking i got a back massage which was a nice little treat and well needed i thought it was just gonna be all about your feet there and they do more. i was soo relaxed and then i laid on my back on the bed and thats when it took off to heaven my foot massage was divine and relaxing the worker hit alot of pressure points and got alot of tension out. Afterwards i laid on my stomach for the last 20 minutes for a nice deep tissue massage on my back and it got out most my kinks it was the best ever!! way better then a regular day spa at a salon it was a long hour but flew by i didnt want it to end and leave. Defnitely recommended to all!! Cheap for $28 for an hour well worth it! I now enjoy foot spas having never went to one i want to go back. It put foot spas on the map to the next level. nice town nice area great for a long stressful day to go in and relax. Amazing! read more
