What made the experience more frustrating was the way the situation was handled afterward. Instead of receiving clarity and customer care, I was left feeling like just another transaction. As someone who understands that policies are policies, I also believe customer service is about how those policies are communicated and enforced. Unfortunately, this experience lacked empathy, transparency, and professionalism. Today, the fronts of my eyebrows completely threaded off because the threader wasn't aware that she should follow my natural shape - not take out hairs until where my actual microblading starts. I made it a point to tell the salon on numerous occasions not to remove the fronts too far back. She reached out to the spa and spoke with Quincy, who was friendly and professional. Quincy then transferred her to another person (whose name she did not get) to make a reservation. However, my sister was informed that there were no massages available on Saturday, despite the spa being open. This was because they didn't have any masseuses working on weekends. It's perplexing how a spa can operate without staff available on Saturdays, especially since my sister works Monday through Friday. The whole point of the gift was for her to book an appointment on a Saturday, and their advertised hours indicate they are open on both Saturdays and Sundays. I believe the spa should have included this crucial information in the fine print of the Groupon. Had I known she would need to take a day off to use it, I never would have purchased it. My sister just started her job and doesn't have vacation days available, making it extremely inconvenient to book an appointment. I wanted to return the Groupon and exchange it for another one, but unfortunately, I missed the refund/exchange window. I am very disappointed with this purchase because the reviews on Groupon, Yelp, and Google were excellent, which misled me regarding the spa's availability.
