The place can not be considered a 'spa' by any means but the therapist more than made up for the facility. While it was clean yet unadorned, the location was convenient and they made good use of available space. The attendant spoke little to no English and used her phone as a translation device and even that was a bit bumpy. "Midi o Straw" was what I heard and quickly realized she was asking if I wanted a Medium or Strong massage. I never figured a massage was to tickle so I said "Straw". I am used to Swedish and Deep Tissue massages and this, while different did not dissapoint. I will not go into details but suffice to say that this therapist took her work seriously as she beat out the knots in my back, arms and legs. The 'Asian' approach to massage was different but appreciated. I normally enjoy a little commentary or conversation during a session but here we had mostly silence although I could make out "straw"..."straw" while she was working on some impressive knots in my upper back. I guess she figured I would pass out from the pain but I saw it through to the end, looking forward to the relief when the pain ended. Would I go back? Certainly. Was the price fair? The place was clean and well kept. Staff was friendly, but there is a language barrier, so it is very hard to communicate your specific areas you want to have worked on. The massage itself was great, though. I left feeling refreshed and that the knot had finally come out of my shoulder. I just wish they had a better way of communicating which areas you want them to prioritize.

She left the door open when I was getting undressed/dressed and left me unattended in the middle without giving me a heads up, door also open. I had to wrap myself in the sheet at the end to walk and close the door. She jumped up on the table a couple of times and had my head in between her legs, while thrusting to massage my lower back. Although a foot massage of that length involves some additional perks such as massaging your head, neck and calves, you remain clothed with a blanket over you. Our massages started and ended at the same time and our providers worked quietly and efficiently. This type of Asian massage technique can get a bit intense, and there was a point while my calves were being done that I almost asked for less pressure, but at the same time I figured I clearly needed that tension worked out so went with it. If you think your feet are ticklish and you can't have your feet massaged, I would say give it a try because I didn't encounter that issue whatsoever. I walked out feeling incredibly relaxed and I'm very impressed with their skill. I would love to go back for a massage more focused on my biggest problem areas from my neck to my back and think I will do so soon, especially as their prices are incredibly reasonable at about a dollar a minute depending on the service you choose.
