This location, at least on a Sat, closes at 6pm as opposed to 8pm (other locations) Closes at 7pm during the week, we were told. The woman clerk could not have been nicer and loved on our dog. We quickly bought 2 large bags of dog food and praised how spotless the store was. The pride showed. It was modern and cool. Lots of selection for dogs, 1 type of kitten food. Tons of treats and supplements. Not cheap but worth the splurge. The lady was so nice knowing that we were from out of town, offered us 2 cooler packs for the food in our cooler. Just a feel-good place and I cannot wait to go back as we are in Mailbu a lot. It is on the right hand side of the main drag (PCH) if heading north.

It's a truly special place with the perfect balance of active play and restful downtime. The free-range setup lets the dogs move between indoor and outdoor spaces as they please, giving them the flexibility to play, explore, or relax. Before we found this place, other daycares left my dog anxious and reactive. She'd come home barky, and at drop-off, she'd hesitate or pull away. But from the moment we started at SM Animal Kingdom, everything changed. She doesn't even look back when I drop her off now--she runs in, tail wagging, totally excited. And when I pick her up? She's calm, happy, and that perfect kind of tired that tells me her day was full of fun, play, and love. It's also helped her become incredibly socialized and comfortable around dogs of all sizes--especially big dogs, which used to be an issue. I don't know what their magic is, but I think it's just a genuine love and deep understanding of dogs that's helped her mature confidently within a positive pack setting. I'm beyond grateful my neighbors recommended them. I really appreciate the daily report cards and photos, also. Super thoughtful. I've always groomed my own dogs, but when my foster dog developed a severely overgrown dewclaw…read morewhich curled in a circle and threatened to puncture the pad, I decided to let a pro handle it. Two groomers told me to go to the vet for it. That sounded like several hundred dollars to do what a groomer would do, and probably them also suggesting a four figure surgery to remove the dewclaws. Walking by The Pet Affaire, I decided to drop in and met Rodney, who told me to come by the next morning with the dog. In about 10 minutes, a unfazed Rodney and his team did all his nails and cut back the problem dewclaw significantly, despite the Cujo-like antics of the (muzzled) dog. The price was super reasonable and the dog doesn't associate me with the unpleasant experience. Win-win. I love watching pros who know what they're doing, and this was a perfect example of that. Highly recommend this establishment and will be returning.

Supporting local businesses is important to us, and Button Nose has continued to be an excellent choice for our family. ******** I have been bringing my dog here for several years, and my mother-in-law as well as many friends have entrusted their pets to this location for even longer. Throughout that time, my experiences with Judy have consistently been wonderful. She has always been incredibly accommodating, helpful, and genuinely kind when assisting with scheduling my dog's appointments. I'm not sure where she is currently, but the past few weeks have been unexpectedly challenging. After accepting the earliest available appointment--which was two weeks out--I asked to be notified if any cancellations became available. The person assisting me seemed uninterested in honoring that request, despite the fact that Judy has always taken the initiative to reach out and fit us in whenever possible. On the day of the appointment, an unforeseen situation arose at my daughter's school. I contacted the shop in hopes they might be able to work with me, even slightly. I offered to arrive a bit earlier or, if necessary, twenty minutes later. I was told they were fully booked and unable to accommodate any adjustment. Every reasonable option I proposed was met with resistance. I am uncertain who is currently overseeing scheduling, but the level of customer service does not reflect the care and professionalism Judy consistently provided. I sincerely hope that Judy is only away temporarily. If not, I may need to seek a mobile groomer who can offer the same level of attentiveness and customer care that she always delivered.
