We've been through an ACL surgery and several mass cell removals with them on top of many upset stomach appointments. I couldn't thank this staff enough for showing Apollo all the love in the world. I brought my dog in for an ear infection. They wanted $66 just to clean the ear. This was on top of the exam fee, the $60 to look at the ear culture, and the $13 "disposal fee". The recommended medication is then sold for $70. I found the same medication on Chewy for $38, but of course, they refuse to work with Chewy to approve the prescription and instead expect me to physically mail the paper prescription to Chewy. Read before you sign up for any wellness plans or even go here!! We went in with our 10 week old puppy and decided to start the paw plan to cover her spay. We figured it would be well worth it. Once we had the spay, we ended up paying a couple hundred more dollars on top of the pet plan. Every time we went in, it was like going in blind- a new price and hefty bill every single time. After a few months of loving the plan and doctors, we noticed that the nurses and doctors were different pretty much every time and their attitudes were starting to get very rushed and rude. I don't know if something changed in the practice with management, but they were ultimately extremely ill-mannered and impolite at our last ever visit. Very disappointed in their behavior and attitude towards my boyfriend and me as we loved 1 nurse and 1 doctor but never saw them again (assuming they left). We had also noticed the first few visits went good and they took their time but every visit after that, they tried to charge us between $200 and $1000 vet bills each time rushing a decision even if there was nothing wrong with her. I would then begin to question them about the price of the bills and they would apologize and lower it by a couple hundred dollars but said they would never do this again. But if you did not question the bills, they automatically sent you on your way and tried rushing you out the door- grabbing hundreds of extra dollars. They did not ask us before preforming some charged services and came back out with a list of what we owed after they preformed the labs at our visits. They do not inform you well enough and expect you to assume they will come out with a large bill. I'm sure being in the Boca area they can easily up charge people. The front desk girls seem happy to help until you ask about prices, they turn sharp and abrupt when questioned and we even had a nurse snap at us after asking if we could do anything to help get her bloodwork. She was overdue from the heart worm test and they could not get a small puppy's blood 4+ times on different days and wanted to heavily sedate her!! We ended up spending thousands on top of our $60 a month pet plan! The plan should have been catered to cover services that are regular. The 10% discount on products and select services is not worth it. We are able to look up the products online after the visit and find it for half the price of what they charge even with the discount!! We didn't realize until too late that they were up charging so many different services and products. We will never be going back but unfortunately still have a contract with the pet plan. read more

Paws of Love! Sometimes is hard to find a good vet for you furry baby. Came across this place on Yelp and had very good reviews, so I decided to check them out. Love Love Love is all you get when you walk trough those doors. Ali, the front desk girl is the sweetest girl I've met receiving me at a doctors office. She was so warm, extremely friendly and very welcoming, almost like if she knew us from before! They literally treat you like family. The doctors and all the staff that took care of Bisbee were professional and caring. Immediately they took care of her situation and offered other thing that she was due. I could tell my baby was very comfortable at this place compared to others we've been. We definitely found our other home full of paws of love. read more

I've been taking my dog here since he was 6 months old for all of their services; grooming, vet visits, etc. We both love it! The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. When you walk into Healthy Pets you know you will be taken care of right away with minimal waiting. They are also always available to help if you have a question or concern and they have a number you can text/call. Only "negative" about Healthy Pets is the fact that it's super expensive. I have found cheaper grooming elsewhere, but they ended up nicking my dogs skin or causing rashes. I actually ended up having to spend even more money by getting him medication to alleviate his symptoms. I have learned the hard way that you get what you pay for! Buyer Beware!! This place will bait and switch you on the price of services. The last two times I took my dog here, I was quoted a price before I brought my dog in for treatment and both times it was almost DOUBLE the original quote at the time of pickup!!! The vet will try and explain that all the additions were unforeseen but that is nonsense. You are a vet, you know what is involved and extras should be accounted for before the pet is brought in for treatment. They do good work but to me, if you quote me a price, that's the price. I don't want to hear a bunch of excuses at the end telling me why I now have to pay sooooo much more. It's ridiculous. Will not be back for a third time. read more

My family dog has been staying with me while my parents travel. He started acting off, or so I thought, and Healthy Pets was able to get me in right away. Their facility is really clean and professional looking. The staff are all very friendly. I waited a little bit for my appointment but no more than 15 minutes. It was a really easy experience for me and they do their best to make your pet feel comfortable. Dinged a star because I can't leave half a star-- I had to call repeatedly for 2 days to get my dogs bloodwork results-- I was told they would be ready the next day. I understand delays attributable to the lab but it would be nice to be told that without me having to call so many times and get the run around. Also, because I was told the visit would be $30, turned into $65, and bloodwork was run without being informed it was an additional $185. That being said, I would still bring my dog back here. Update: Dr Katz reached out to me after my review was posted and advised that he took steps to remedy the issues I encountered with billing. He also personally reviewed my case and determined a refund was in order, for the discrepancy in office visit pricing. Dr Katz was under no obligation to take these extra steps and I feel very confident that they have their clients and patients best interests in mind, as well as the best practices in effect moving forward. We've been a long time customer of Dr. Bull. He's the best, however, the same cannot be said about the new owners. Pet acupuncture?Laser therapy? Are you kidding me? What a money grab! Study after study have shown that acupuncture and laser therapy in humans has zero effect other than the placebo effect. The studies in animals are overwhelmingly negative. Shame on you! Either your completely ignorant of the science or your capitalizing on the fact that there are gullible people that believe this pseudoscientific garbage. Plain and simple, veterinary acupuncture is animal cruelty. And the only thing that laser therapy does is extract money from the owner's wallet. I doubt Dr Bull would approve. If your vet offers veterinary acupuncture find another vet. For this and other reasons, including Increasing the bill by adding extras that were not requested and charging outrageous prices on their vaccines and other medication, that's exactly what we have done. Try VCA for a much better experience for your pet as well as your wallet. read more

The prices are very reasonable at least as a first time customer. Due to COVID you are not allowed in with your pet which was a little concerning but the staffs efficiency and speed was comforting. My cat was in and out in under an hour. I Just moved to the Boca area and I was worried about overpriced and uninspired vets but I was pleasantly impressed. This is the BEST vet we have been to by far. The staff is very friendly, sweet, and you can tell they truly care about the animals. We recently took our little chihuahua / terrier mix in for a much needed dental procedure. He is 13 years old and has a heart murmur so we were a little nervous how he would handle this procedure. Walking in, Bella was shell shocked and scolded me because she thought we were going to the pizza shop next door... sorry pup. the staff was really accommodating, and went above everything to ease her into the check up. treats, rubs, attention... basically doggy heroin. She was still nervous when they first started and was hiding behind me as much as she could. this was a turning point because i wasnt sure if me being there was a hinderance to completing the check up, but i certainly wasnt helping. the reason i write this is because seeing how Dr Katz interacted with her, there was a level of trust that allowed me to step out and let the work be done. at the end, Bella absolutely gave the look of "you owe me dad," but she's healthy and up to date now. You cant really ask for more than that The front desk went over with me all of the procedure and any after care/preventative regiments needed, and we were on our way. now.... I was back and forth from NYC to Florida this winter during COVID quarantine and decided to get my small Pomeranian puppy spayed with Healthy Pets. It was no easy decision (she had been seeing her other vet for months), but I am SO happy I did. They were so wonderful, patient, and caring. They called every time to see how she was doing and recovering. Her incision was so small and healed so quickly, we joked that it looked like she didn't even have surgery! I just recently moved to Boca from another county and needed to switch my dogs over to somewhere nearby. I always do the most research and by the look of reviews, Healthy Pets seemed to have happy customers. My first red flag and first visit was when I got a prescription for my 6 year old Morkie, they specifically told me it was available on-hand and I could come pick it up. I go to the office and they don't have it and needed to order it out, so this was a complete waste of my lunch break, driving there and back during a work day. The main reason why I am writing this review is because I noticed a lump on my 3 year old Morkie and went there to get an opinion on it. Of course, they always suggest the pricey option first of surgical removal and doing dental work while they're at it. (This quote was over 1k plus whatever extractions they want to pull) I then tell Dr. Carroll I rather find out if the bump is something to be concerned about first via biopsy, before putting my dog through a surgery that could be unnecessary. Then she admits it's very unlikely that it's cancerous. We scheduled the biopsy for a few days later. I arrived at 8am to drop off my dog as instructed, was told there were no other dogs in the office, and that the biopsy was under 30 minutes and then they would like to observe him for an hour afterwards. I call at 10am asking for an update, to find out that he is still sitting in the cage and waiting for his turn to go. I said why did you have me bring him there at 8am to sit in a cage for hours? They put me on hold and come back to say they squeezed in another dog for dental work and had more extractions needed than timed for. Last time I checked, when you squeeze in another patient anywhere, they should be the ones waiting? They told me my dog would not be ready for pickup until 4pm and if I want, I can pick up my dog and reschedule for another day. Oh boy, yeah I'm picking him up and never coming back! I got there to the office and they asked when to reschedule my dog. I said "I'm not, I'm going to take him somewhere else". The front desk lady says "Ok" and that was the end of it. No question, no concerns. From two visits, I experienced a major lack of communication and terrible customer service! read more

I have never had an incredible experience like this with the vet. We had two Cavaliers and of course we love dearly by us. And so did every doctor and every staff member love them also. When we found this vet they were older, and had health issues. They called back within 2 to 3 hours every time we called, comforted and supported both of us through putting both of them to sleep in the course of six weeks, and were there Every step of the way. Sometimes Dr. Katz even took x-rays and didn't charge me for them. At the end we brought them there every other day. When we said goodbye to them, Dr. Prock was so gentle and kind to our babies and to us. He is a wonderful vet filled with compassion and love. Losing both of them was very difficult for us.We decided to get another cavalier and our Luca will be happy every time he goes to healthy pets. We can't say enough about how terrific all of them are.
