Extremely poor referral handling and communication…read more My son was referred to this office twice, and both times the process was handled terribly. The first referral was essentially ignored, and I never received any follow-up. About a year later, my doctor sent another referral. I spoke with Carla and was told to allow 2-3 weeks for the referral to be processed, even though my doctor's office had already sent everything over. She then asked me to confirm our insurance information, which I did on August 18. Today is September 23, and after hearing absolutely nothing for over a month, I called them myself. Only then was I told that they do not accept our insurance. Even more frustrating, I was told that they apparently do not contact parents to let them know when insurance is not accepted. So had I not followed up myself, my child could have simply remained in limbo indefinitely. I then said I was willing to pay cash, only to be told they do not see children under 8 years old something that also could have been communicated from the beginning. This was not one small communication error. It was two separate referrals, repeated lack of follow-up, weeks of unnecessary waiting, and information that should have been provided immediately. When a child is being referred for hearing care, families should not have to repeatedly chase an office just to find out whether their child can even be seen. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that parents confirm everything themselves and think twice before relying on this office to manage a pediatric referral appropriately. Unfortunately, this experience also felt very typical of the level of care and communication I've grown to expect from healthcare in Las Vegas, and that is incredibly disappointing when it involves a child's hearing.

We asked for my mom's previous hearing test to give to a new provider. Marnie said she can't give it to us and my mom needs a new test at a new provider. I called a new provider and they said by law we have the right to my mom's records and test results. I called Marnie and asked for test results emailed to me. I said my email slowly & clearly explaining every letter and Marnie didn't even repeat back to confirm because she wanted to avoid working precisely and doesn't care for mistakes. Marnie said I'll have it in a few minutes. I called back and left a few voicemails over the next hour and a half which as I expected, she ignored. I called from a different phone number and turns out she answered in a minute and then repeated the email and she added a digit that I did not say so she said my mom's record to a different wrong email. This is unacceptable and people's records should be handled cautiously and I said that. She didn't say sorry or care, just tried to immediately hang up. That's the service you'll get if you have to deal with Marnie. I hope they record calls so they can see how she treats people. Only half nice when she wants to say she can't do something like sending results that she by law has to instead of taking 2 minutes to send a test result. Find a different place.

They are inserted by an audiologist and you wear them 24/7 when they stop working your audiologist replaces them with a new set and you are once again able to go on about your day. I may have to contact the Mayo Clinic in Arizona to get this tumor removed there which takes only one week. The American Medical Association should review this place and remove their funding. Not only that, three times the worker at the desk said that I need to get some new hearing aids. Why? mine are working fine. I have insurance that will pay $2000 on the aids but guess what? If I have insurance, the price goes up! Who does that? I have eyeglass insurance, they don't raise the price of the glasses. I guess when the time comes I will shopping somewhere else.

It seems like they are buying a cheaper battery to use as replacements, because they only warranty the replacement battery for 6 months.
