We asked for my mom's previous hearing test to give to a new provider. Marnie said she can't give it to us and my mom needs a new test at a new provider. I called a new provider and they said by law we have the right to my mom's records and test results. I called Marnie and asked for test results emailed to me. I said my email slowly & clearly explaining every letter and Marnie didn't even repeat back to confirm because she wanted to avoid working precisely and doesn't care for mistakes. Marnie said I'll have it in a few minutes. I called back and left a few voicemails over the next hour and a half which as I expected, she ignored. I called from a different phone number and turns out she answered in a minute and then repeated the email and she added a digit that I did not say so she said my mom's record to a different wrong email. This is unacceptable and people's records should be handled cautiously and I said that. She didn't say sorry or care, just tried to immediately hang up. That's the service you'll get if you have to deal with Marnie. I hope they record calls so they can see how she treats people. Only half nice when she wants to say she can't do something like sending results that she by law has to instead of taking 2 minutes to send a test result. Find a different place.

Thus when I tried wearing other brands of hearing aids I broke out in welts. The other reason I love my lyrics is that when people see you wearing hearing aids they tend to talk slowly or loudly. Plus have to have that yucky goop injected into your ear to make the mold for the other hearing aids is unpleasant feeling too. Then you always have the battery issues. With l Lyrics you don't. They are inserted by an audiologist and you wear them 24/7 when they stop working your audiologist replaces them with a new set and you are once again able to go on about your day. Tracy Diehm and her associate Kim quickly determined the right ear was severely plugged with ear wax (yuk!). So Tracy is very experienced with this problem, and quickly assured me she could get it out. It took persistance because it was really lodged in there tight. But she and Kim went through irrigating and syringing my ear until it finally came out. I immediately felt great relief as the pressure was gone from my ear. We were actually laughing together through this process as I am a jokester and they have a great sense of humor too! We then did a hearing check and Tracy informed me that I did not need a hearing aid, and advised me to come back yearly for a free check, just like I do with my optometrist. I am 63 years old, btw. After all this was done, she didn't even charge me! I insisted on paying for that rather long procedure. It was only $35.00 to restore my hearing. I HIGHLY recommend them, as they are honest, helpful and fun!

Now it is a one hour window and I have to sit and wait while they examine my hearing aids. They used to give me four packages of batteries at a time now it is three. Not only that, three times the worker at the desk said that I need to get some new hearing aids. Why? mine are working fine. I have insurance that will pay $2000 on the aids but guess what? If I have insurance, the price goes up! Who does that? I have eyeglass insurance, they don't raise the price of the glasses. I guess when the time comes I will shopping somewhere else.

After 2 years, I sent my hearing aids in to have the batteries checked and they replaced the batteries. The initial batteries have a 3 year warranty. It seems like they are buying a cheaper battery to use as replacements, because they only warranty the replacement battery for 6 months. Now I must spend money on a replacement battery (my battery died after 10 months) and be without my hearing on my better ear for 2 weeks. How frustrating!! This is a corporate problem not the local outlet. The hearing aid is so complicated that the local people tried but couldn't help me.
