I had an older woman who had no clue about massage -- all she did was rub her elbows and hands on me without any kind of massage. I asked multiple times for more pressure, deep tissue, more actual massaging and she didn't understand anything and just kept going as she was. It was so frustrating and I wanted to leave minutes after getting started. I chose, instead, to avoid hurting her feelings and keep trying to help her grasp what I wanted. None of it worked -- turns out she spoke no English at all and that was not ideal when the "massage" was a total flop. I cut her off early, which required 3 different gestures and attempted communication to help her understand I wanted to leave. On my way out, she typed into her translator service the word "tip" and followed me to the door pushing for one. I would have explained why I didn't leave a tip but she wouldn't have understood. I felt so bad but also just felt really ripped off...both time and money. Ugh. Don't go here.
