Nice people - seems like a family run operation. The dinning room reminds you of a school or prison cafeteria - white walls with zero decorations, fluorescent lighting ; it was probably a retail store space before becoming a restaurant. Food was okay, but seemed sort of institutional (think 1 gallon cans of veggies and rather bland seasoning). Not large portions. The kicker is that it's sort of pricey for what you get - the portion size and the unmemorable quality. read more

I ate here today based on a word of mouth recommendation, glad I did this place serves great home style southern soul food, I had the meat loaf and collard greens great greens! They have about 5-6 things on the menu each day and changes daily. Great food at a great price and food service to boot. Not sure about the hours but I think they are closed on Fridays. read more

Found this little gem while out shopping in Paris, Tx. My husband ordered fried chicken, cabbage, beans, creamy potatoes. He thought it was very down home comfort food. I ordered smothered chicken, corn, and creamy potatoes. It was wonderful. Customer service was great and owner was so sweet. Love loved it. read more

Being from Paris, I always look forward to coming back and eating all the amazing southern cuisine that I grew up on! Unfortunately, my grandma and dad don't do much cooking these days. I stumbled upon this gem during my last visit. Very friendly wait staff, delicious fried chicken, okra, mashed potatoes, and sweet tea. Very affordable! Its all homemade and made with love!
