Always a great experience with this company. This is the third course I've taken with them, and each time is a breeze. I've been taking these courses every two years for a while now, and these guys take the sting out of it. The courses are never dry (beyond the unavailable AHA videos), and are always to the point and time efficient. I feel they also do a great job of creating an inviting, stress-free learning environment for first time attendees. There is a lot of freeform Q&A, and the mega codes (ACLS/PALS) are less like pressure-cooker scenarios, and more like team-oriented training sessions. Took my BLS class here, the 3 hour one, but it was more like 2.5hrs, 6:00-8:30PM and it was a pretty decent experience. They had manequins for adult and infant and bag masks CPR skills training. My instructor, Mr.Ray was kind and straight to the point with all the important stuff you need to know to do BLS. Very clear teaching, repeats things for better retention, gives feedback, demostrated the skills with his own manequin, does it along with us, but also watched the participants if they each got it, and provided real life scenarios and how to handle them. Covid safety wise, they take in lesser students to ensure social distancing. They disinfect quite often (and I can attest to this cuz I saw the little wipe fibers on the infant doll). Legitimacy, I just receieved my ecard directly from AHA (American Heart Association). And this was one of my worries, whether theyd provide a legit one, and they do! So yay! It was such a great experience doing my BLS and ACLS through this company. Most of the course is online so I was able to do it at my own convenience. The in-person skills assessment was in a nice facility, directions were clear, and it was a pretty quick process. I signed up to do the assessment rather late and everyone in the building had left for the day so I was apprehensive to go into a dark building solo... at night... as a female... based on the instructions from a company I didn't know. I called their number to ask if I could do it a little later so I could wait to go into the building once I had someone come to go inside with me. They were very accommodating, understanding, and kind over the phone. Once inside, I felt very comfortable and safe and it was a very well organized process! 10/10 would go through this company again!
