Had work done to my vehicle and was charged a diagnostic fee on top of the almost $4000 I spent. When questioning the charge was asked condescendingly if I understood how mechanic shops work..... To add insult to injury found out from the dealership that I bought my vehicle from that there was an option to fix my vehicle with more standard parts that would have cost about a third of a price. If you need an oil change they are probably capable but for anything else there are better options in the area I assure you. Would give zero stars but that's not an option. read more

After getting the new tires mounted, alignment done, and wheels balanced, the whole thing turned into a disaster. The shop only drove the car on the street for a quick test, but once I got it out on the freeway, the vibration was so bad it felt like my teeth were going to shake out. The cause? No hub‑centric rings were installed with the new wheels. I had to pull over and stop at Tires Plus in Forest Lake, where they confirmed the issue and installed the correct hub‑centric rings so I could drive home safely. That meant spending even more money on top of what I had already paid -- all because the original installer didn't fit the rings in the first place. read more

I was a very loyal customer to this location for the past few years. Until everything has went down hill. This last few visits have been the final straw! I went in to get a quote on how much to change my steering wheel coupler and get my tires balanced. So I waited there, when they finished my car I got the bill and the guy charged me $75 just to tell me what I already told em what needed to be fixed. Then I got charged for the tire balance. I get in my car and leave. My door handle cubby is full of black smudges all over it. I was annoyed and just figured I will clean it when I get home. When I was driving home my car was still shaky at 55mph+. So I call back to get a time to rebalance my tires. When I called the guy said it's probably something else and not the balance, we BALANCED YOUR TIRES. The front desk guy always makes me feel like an idiot or I'm inconveniencing him. So I get in the next week because my work schedule doesn't work with their hours of operation. They take my car in and do not look at anything else and just balance my tires (supposedly). The guy says they drove my car up and down 169 getting at least 80mph (great mechanics just speeding in your personal car). So I get my car back no charge. I get in and I notice black smudges on the handle again, this time thicker and gooey like tire glue. As I'm driving home yet again annoyed I have to clean it. I look closer and there is scrapes of paint off the plastic pieces like someone was holding a tool on it with dirty hands. On top of it I get up to 55mph+ and my tires still ARE NOT BALANCED. It's so shaky If not worse. So now with my work schedule I couldn't bring my car back and it's a week later they are going to say they didn't damage my door handles. I payed honest1 to balance my tires (another $145) and finally my tires are not shaky. The last few visits over the past year and a bit more every time I got there for an oil change I have black smudges all over my window and handle and steering wheel. So now I am out 350$+ because I have to find replacement panels. And they have almost $200 worth of my money. read more
