Take your money and your vehicle somewhere else. My husband brought our truck in there to have them fix the leak we had in our gas tank on Monday and we just got our truck back today. It was supposed to be done on Monday evening when he got off work and it wasn't done, so we had no choice but to get a rental car ($300 total for that expense that World Auto didn't cover). They assured us it would be done by the next day (Tuesday). Sure enough, my husband calls them and they said they still are not done with it so we had to rent the car for ANOTHER DAY. Finally, my husband picked the truck up tonight and they told him they knocked $90 off of the over $1100.00 total. Lucky us, right? We will never go there again. Going to the auto mechanic is kind of like going to the dentist. After the examination you get that queasy feeling and expect bad news that they found something that will cost a lot of money. Wynne was a better person to deal and talk to. Oil change prices were comparable to those rapid-speedy franchises, but it felt good to have certified mechanics looking over my car, instead of lube technicians that can only change the oil and check the tire pressure. My car was towed to this establishment because it wasn't starting and I knew it was the starter (duh) there was nothing else wrong with the car. I went to pick up my car and they said that'll be $124 and I was like... you didn't do anything. They charged me to take my car back for no reason... then when I paid I got shorted $10 in my change so that just made me more mad. I'm never going here again. I suggest you don't either because you'll just get screwed like me, and not in the good way. I'll take my business elsewhere. Peace. read more

We brought our cars to them for many years based on a recommendation of a friend. I have found them always very willing to help and patient with their time when explaining anything or giving us advice. If we have had an issue with the repair (maybe once in 12 years), they were always quick to have it brought in and they solutions the problem based on additional feedback. Don't let the friendly words fool you. I have been a customer of World Auto for years and I always think they were honest. I took my Mercedes C240 like a year ago to fix an oil leak; they change a plug even I mention I already did but they said the leak was from there, so pay the over $200 for it and in a day or two oil still leaking. I got the car now for second time now they said something else, paid $600 or $700 dollars and after a day or two later the leak still there, get the car back for a third time and they said then the car is old and it will be very expensive to fix so they put a pad under the car in the engine cover to stop the leak. Well I give then the benefit of the doubt and bring my Audi just couple weeks ago, they check the car and told me it would be better to change 2 gaskets to make sure the leak is fix so I have them do that and did some extra work wile the car was there with a cost over $2100 but they fail again. In an email from Wynne said: If for any reason you feel that we don't deserve a 5 star review, please call or email me right away so that I may correct the situation I went to talk to him about my car still leak and his answer was well we fix one not the second leak and that will cost $1000 and no way that was in what they quoted to me in first place. I took my car to a different place where the problem was fix for $350. Stay away of sweet taking Wynne. He is very good at talking and will take you for a ride. Originally I'm from MN but live in AZ now. I'm back here for work and noticed my car was running hot. Had been smelling antifreeze smell for awhile (months) but the repair shop back where I live couldn't figure it out. Was driving past World Auto Repair and pulled in to see if they could add some antifreeze as it was near closing time and that was all the time there was to do anything. Wynne put in a gallon and a half no charge and said I could get in at 9 AM the next morning. Back the next morning and it wasn't long and they found the problem and fixed it. A stripped clamp on a hose. It was the cheapest auto repair visit I've had and now I'm back on the road without worries. The overheating was also causing my transmission to act up and I thought I was really in trouble but Wynne said that can happen due to the computer in the car reacting to the overheating and causing other issues such as that. This shop is clean, efficient and they have seasoned mechanics that know what they are doing and honest. I couldn't ask for a better experience. They also have fast wifi, nice waiting room and even exercise equipment in another room if you want to stay on the move. I got really lucky stumbling across these guys. read more

I brought my car, a Lexus RX330, in for repair at the end of the day on a Monday. I was promised my car would be repaired by the end of the following day. I had a lift tick noise in the engine. I paid $1200 to have the timing belt and water pump replaced. The shop had my car for three days. When I picked up my car, I had the same ticking noise as when I dropped off my car. The owner said the noise was due to dirty oil, and tried to tell me my car was more than 2,000 miles overdue for an oil change. In fact, the car was not overdue for an oil change by Lexus' oil change schedule, and was only overdue for an oil change by 400 miles according to Valvoline's schedule. I immediately got an oil change. The same noise persisted in intensity and frequency and volume after the oil change. The owner offered to look at my car again, if I brought it back to their business for a fourth day. I refused to return. The business failed to diagnose and correct a problem within three days although I made a clear request to have the problem diagnosed and corrected. The business blatantly misrepresentated information about how many miles my car was overdue for an oil change, and what was causing and what would correct the lift tick noise. I found the business to be dishonest and untrustworthy, and they performed substandard work. read more
