The prescription was not the same as my sample lenses. Because the lenses were purchased at Costco and one used before, I realized what was wrong, I was stuck with $200 of contacts I could not wear. They asked me if I would like a re-exam and I refused, what good is it going to a Dr. who already screwed up. Temple was kind and understanding but limited on what she could do. I received a questionnaire from the corporate office and filled it out with the facts (as above) It stated they would like to talk further and asked if it was ok to call. Of course. That call got action. Temple, who had already been so caring called and explained who the new Dr. was. What he would do before selling contacts and they offered a free eye exam. I agreed, with some hesitation and embarrassment. It was not necessary as they were welcoming, and the new eye Dr. spent about 45 minutes making sure the new contacts would fit. He even recognized I did not want daily wear contacts and gave me a test pair that were really comfortable. As fate would have it my husband hit my hand when I was placing a contact in my eye, and we have never found it. Upon calling, Temple, I was given a new pair and explained I didn't feel I was reading menus as well as I could. They included another contact to try, after talking with the Doctor. Contacts are now comfortable, and I am able to read a menu. I am going back again. Great difference with a doctor who knows what he is doing from one who does not.

I chose this location purely for convenience & my insurance 3 years ago and have had a better experience at this office than at my current Chicago MyEyeDr office. It turns out it may be a double entendre as it is Dr Moody's optometry one stop shop. Located on the first floor of the Saleforce Tower in the heart of Downtown Indy, Moody Eyes is an affordable destination for purchasing glasses with lots of great options to choose from. We've been coming here for many years now and much prefer it to Lens Crafters and the other pricey alternatives. Dr Moody himself is such a kind man with a great sense of humor and I dread the day he retires. I don't want to go anywhere else! His wife, Connie, also works with him and together they make a great team! It's easy to schedule an appointment online. Highly recommend it!

After looking at some frames i was told that with my "you have amazing vision insurance", I would still be required to pay nearly $100 for just a pair of single prescrition glasses. I then asked for a cheaper alternative and was told that i wouldnt be saving much money by doing so. I was then reasured how good my insurance was and how good of a deal I was getting. After several minutes of being intimidated by who I assume is Mrs. Moody, I then calmly explained how I normally do not pay for frames at the place I had previously gone. She responded with a look and tone that I can only describe as "unnecessary" and asked "well why didn't you go there then'? She was not nice, she absolutely meant it to be rude. I then said that I would not be getting glasses today and that i just want to pay for my visit. "Ten Dollars" are the only words she says next and I quietly handed her my payment, asked for my prescription to which she says "well we aren't going to give you measurements", which i replied with silence. I then proceeded to leave while promising never to return. I have never been treated so poorly by someone at a doctors office. I want to believe that I took things out of context or the wrong way but body language and tone said everything. As if they are angry because I can not afford their overpriced Luxottica frames... I will take my "had to do a double take your insurance was so good" and go somewhere better.

The eye exam felt very fast. I am not sure if that was because we had our current prescription and they just worked off that. They have a massive designer glasses selection but if you are looking for some glasses to put on your face and see this is the place. I got glasses, lenses and eye exam w my insurance for $90. That is a deal. They also have deals for basic glass. My husband had to get bifocals w transition lenses and they were $145. So there are deals to be had here if you are looking for glasses. Which doesn't make sense. As I was not 10min. Late. Anywho I was told the doctor on duty refused to see me as I had not filled out an online questionnaire and that they were too busy to see me. I was so confused, no one advised me of a questionnaire when I called to schedule. Nevertheless they appeared to be short of staff and had about 6 people waiting with no receptionist up front. Why overbook people just to refuse them when they arrive ? Does not make sense, just ridiculous.

Also I was able to get an appointment fairly quick. This location is for training medical students (future eye doctors). I appreciate how thorough the eye check up is and that you see a student and a doctor. I will caution that the appointment can take anywhere from 1 hour-2 hours. I wasn't prepared for that beforehand. Also they have a large option for glasses and contact lenses. I have a follow up appointment and I look forward to going to se them again.

I really didn't need glasses but wanted them for college to sharpen edges when I look at the overhead for a far. I wanted these cute Kate spade frames so I asked how much . The girl that help me said with everything included including visit it would be $350 up front and if insurance paid anything they would refund me what I over paid.I knew the frames were a bit price so I agreed and paid 350 right there. The bill came saying I owed $39 dollars- which isnt much but as I look at the bill I see the the frames cost 254 the lens cost $ 100 and I only needed one eye delt with it was even very low at -25...which like i said i really didnt need glasses they added all sorts of things to the lenses without asking anything and then it said my appointment was $191 because it was comprehensive. I was litterly with the eye dr. for 10 min and he said I have about perfect eyesight. Well, my insurance did pay some. So all together it came to $541. I paid the 350 plus the $39 I guess my insurance didnt pick up. What a sham. Beware of this place . They also dont contact you if you need to pay what's left even though I have called multiple times during office hours without a call back. So I got a late fee. I have to do it over the phone because I am in nursing school and have zero time to make that trip. Save yourself money and a headache. They are not worth your time

You cannot help but look. It is on the front of the building and wraps around both sides. It was painted in 2016 and is the work of Justin Oloson of Olson Studios. The right side of the mural depicts a close up of a bright blue-eyed person with glasses on set against a colorful wavy background. The front has the building's address hidden into an eye chart and a brown eyed man with glasses on and the colorful waves behind the eye chart and to the mans right. The left side of the building has a blonde-haired, blue-eyed woman, yep, you guessed it, with eye glasses, looking at the colorful waves that are in front of her. I like the colors used in the mural. The colorful waves contrast very well with the background. And even though it is somewhat basic, the artwork is on point, Olson is very talented. The mural is in excellent shape and looks pretty fresh. Parking here to get a closer look is pretty simple. You can pull into the clinic's parking lot or snag a free spot on the street, get out and look as long as your heart desires. I just parked on the street in front of the clinic. Anyway, as with most murals that I have visited and reviewed, this is not a long stop. I was there less than 5 minutes. So, you may want to consider planning out additional stops at many of the other attractions in the area, or making this stop part of a larger itinerary to maximize your time and trip.
