Hearing aids These folks are just great…read moreI've never felt in safer hands! Hearing loss is a big deal for me They worry with me!

No stars for sure!!they don't even deserve the 1 star but unfortunately you have to rate something…read moreto review...Very rude services which turned into tax lectures....I'll let you decide...We all know the system is broken and can't get the help when needed sometimes. Hearing aids are very expensive and are most likely not covered through most insurance. I have Hearing loss and obviously need Hearing aids. I haven't been able to dish the money out for new ones, so I have a pair of Hearing aids that were given to me by my father. He's 83 yrs old, veteran. Had this pair of Hearing aids that were sitting around for a year and not being used, issued to my father from the V.A. I was told over the phone it was no problem to bring them in and help me get them fixed so I could use them for myself. Im sure I am not the only person that has ever inherited Hearing aids from their veteran family members.....so waited 2 weeks for a appointment, when I arrived it was typical, polite at the desk, first time paper work etc....then the so called professional specialist that loves to help people...really didn't want to help me at all. Instead wanted to lecture me about taxes?? Really??starting saying that I basically shouldn't have these Hearing aids and they are the V.A.s property? Then starts to tell me she pays taxes and the Hearing aids should have been returned by my father if he wasn't using them. Really and that was going to help your tax break??? A pair of Hearing aids?? First of all we all pay taxes and my father definitely paid a tax for his service one way or another. The real issue was that someone like myself, randomly pick this place based off good reviews so I could walk in and get the help needed regardless of the story behind the Hearing aids or how I have them. I had a pair fixed before for me somewhere else, those were VA issued as well, no problems. Then there was lots of excuses why she couldn't fix them and different prices all over the map..so I'm sure they will help you possibly..but don't forget your taxes !! What a joke!! Don't waste you time or money into this organization. I went to ADVANCED INSTRUMENTS hearing aid services in vallejo. They were extremely nice, helped me for very reasonable price, fixed my hearing aids regardless from how I received them and most importantly they didn't pull that TRUMP CARD!!.......so you decide

I want to be charitable in writing this review. I believe that Jennifer and Deanna at Bay Area…read moreHearing Services (BAHS) did their absolute best to provide a good service experience, but unfortunately they failed at doing so. They were friendly and tried to be accommodating, but my experience there was ultimately very disappointing. Prior to coming to BAHS, I had worn a pair of Signia Silk 7x CIC ("completely in canal" = virtually invisible) hearing aids for five years, which were provided to me by an excellent local provider. I was very happy with them, but they were now old and rather obsolete. Unfortunately, my health insurer now requires that patients work through a hearing reseller called Amplifon rather than directly with hearing aid providers, and my previous provider does not work with Amplifon. Amplifon therefore referred me to Bay Area Hearing Services. Here are the reasons for my disappointment: 1. Although it had been over half a year since my last audiogram, Deanna declined to perform a new audiogram prior to fitting me with hearing aids, because "your previous audiogram is probably good enough" (!) This means that even though they were offering me new hearing aids made by a different manufacturer, serviced by a different provider, and with a completely different hardware profile from my previous aids, they did not intend to test my hearing at all in order to fit them. 2. Although BAHS is in the Amplifon network, BAHS staff are not proficient in Amplifon's processes and procedures. Jennifer did not know how to use Amplifon's software interface at all, and Deanna had a considerable amount of difficulty navigating it. 3. Most disappointing by far is the fact that the hearings I was ultimately sold turned out not to feature ANY of the features or benefits that Deanna had promised when she was offering them to me. NOT ONE. I had stated from the outset that I was only interested in CIC hearing aids. I did not want a device that was visible from the outside. Deanna had recommended the Nexia 9 hearing aid, manufactured by a company called ReSound. She spent several minutes presenting a demo of the Nexia phone app, highlighting features like bluetooth, wireless operation, volume and balance control, telehealth remote adjustment and customizable hearing programs. BAHS did not have demo hearing aids on hand to demonstrate these features, but Deanna assured me that the hearing aids she was selling me would include all of them. Delighted with the demo, I proceeded to have wax casts made of my ears and paid for the hearing aids. Deanna gave me a brochure detailing the features of my new hearing aids, and sent me on my way. Shockingly, Deanna phoned me back about half an hour later (while I was in the car driving home) to admit that in fact, the hearing aids she had sold me had NONE of the features she had demoed and promised. NOT A SINGLE ONE. They were not wireless, did not have bluetooth, did not work with an app, and had only pre-defined programs that could not be customized. They did not feature a volume control or balance control. They did not support telehealth remote adjustment. The programs could only be changed by removing each hearing aid from the ear and pressing a button on it, then doing the same in the opposite ear. THE BROCHURE SHE HAD GIVEN ME WAS FOR A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MODEL OF HEARING AID (and was also outdated, it turns out). Even this information was relayed to me in an inaccurate and piecemeal fashion, and it was only after a follow-up call the next day that Deanna clarified for me the inaccuracies she had conveyed in the previous call. 4. When it became clear that this was what a less charitable customer might call a bait-and-switch, I asked the phone receptionist to cancel my order and refund the money to my credit card. (It was now Friday afternoon.) Unfortunately, the receptionist told me there was no one in the office who knew how to cancel an Amplifon order or process a card refund, and that there would not be until Monday or Tuesday. I ultimately had no choice but to phone Amplifon's corporate office in Minneapolis and process the refund through them -- a process which took about an hour and required my speaking with three separate individuals. Had I not succeeded in doing this, I would have had to file a claim with my credit card issuer. I can see that there are many very positive reviews for BAHS here, and I believe all of the reviewers when they say they had an excellent experience there. I'm confident that most of BAHS's customers do not come through Amplifon and do not specifically request a CIC hearing aid, which may be why they may not experience the frustrations that I did.

I can't express how amazing Deanna really is!! She truly an angel!! So I'd take my review with a grain of salt because I don't think I'm the average clientele here - I…read moredon't think I need a hearing aid (yet?) but I think the customer service experience I received sloppy but kind. I just think this place wasn't for me or my ear issues. Again, the staff was very nice, but I was paying out of pocket for an ENT appointment that lasted all of about 8 minutes and was charged twice. (I'm sure it was just a simple clerical mistake but I'm self employed and don't make a ton of $ so the double charge affected my weekend). I called the office but they're closed on the weekends. Anyway, after the 8 minutes ENT suggested that I probably have nerve damage in my ear. I was hoping it was just wax or an ear infection, but there's no way of knowing without having a nerve test done. Even so, I cancelled my appointment for the following week and notified them of the double charge in a voicemail because I had to leave town unexpectedly - and on Monday I received a voicemail to confirm my appointment I thought I had cancelled. So I left another vm and sent 2 emails since I was still out of town. The double charge went away (I also contested it on my account), but I never received a call back to confirm. While out of town I ended up going to a holistic doctor and she seemed to think my problems came from my tweaked neck and could be somewhat improved with holistic treatment, chiropractic and acupuncture. Since my issues aren't severe - I will probably go that route when I get back home. So again, I'm sure everything would have been resolved at its own pace but as a first time customer the experience was enough to make not want to return.

Doctor stated the tightness would go away. I had explained that, I was having a hard time breathing because my stomach started to bloat, whenever I ate or drank something. I was also severely constipated..He stated it would go away. In between times, I went back to get checked and I would share the same information about how I was feeling. He finally agreed that my stomach was a little fat and could use Lipo.. I asked if, he could transfer the fat to my butt .. Nov. 26, 2019, the Lipo and transfer was done , the cost was $2200.. A couple of weeks went by and I realized that my left butt cheek was much smaller than my right cheek... I also had balls of fat that had swelled up and turn black in certain spots.. I immediately reached out to Serebrakian to explain the issues that I had with my butt.. I went in to see him and the manipulation happened again... I have a story to that issue as well.. However, I got 3 treatments at $130 each in Pleasant Hill and it helped, so no more complaints regarding my bottom to him.. However to this day my right cheek is bigger than the left.. VERY EMBARRASSING . After that , I was still left dealing with my stomach issues and constantly going back and forth with Dr.Serebrakian through Via email, text , phone calls and in person visits still to get no where but rudeness and manipulation. Thanks to a friend that noticed it first the deformity of my stomach and buttocks. My stomach looks bashed in on the left side. It's August 2024 and my symptoms are still the same and a few new ones I'm TRULY SUFFERING DR.Serebrakian tried to blame my symptoms on my large uterus from having twins in 2010.. I can't have a bowel movement without taking a laxative.. My stomach bloats daily after every and anything that I eat or drink. It's extremely hard to breath with the bloating, I'm exhausted daily from doing nothing but going to work..I suffer from headaches when I can't release the toxins out of my body. I have no feeling in my lower stomach.. . I can stick a needle in it and wouldn't feel any pain.. I now struggle with lower back pain, with bloating.I've been seeking medical attention ever since the Tummy Tuck . I've had multiple test done. I have a long list of doctors that I've seen The doctors found nothing naturally wrong . June 2024, My primary care provider stated that my problems are due to the Tummy Tuck Throughout the years, I would reach out to Serebrakian and would get no where with him. He would allow me to come in to get checked but did nothing but reminded me, of how big my stomach was before he did the Tummy Tuck.. His staff was extremely rude, the lady in front with the Yvonne and then his shadow Name starts with a G. They were all very manipulative, when I shared my concerns. They would try to make me think, it was something else wrong with me mentally or come up with another reason why, I maybe having the symptoms. I was told my symptoms were never heard of and I should be thankful that, I look better. I told the doctor and G that, I didn't any longer care about not having a big stomach, I didn't feel normal, I need help ..I've begged Serebrakian for help and all he did was manipulate the situation . He lied and stated he put in referrals to UCSF and when I'd call to check, there was nothing.I respected the doctor, as well as trusted him because prior experiences with him.. Since May 10,2019, I've been suffering with stomach issues. I'm sharing in my story in hopes that someone can possibly help me and to bring awareness.. I tried to keep from exposing but the careless and lack of responsibility left me no choice.. My life will never be the same.. I wish this on no one.. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW PROVIDERS WITHOUT PRIOR EXPERIENCE TO PERFORM ANY SURGERIES ON YOU. Pay close attention to providers that's just out for the money..

I had called in originally to…read moresee if they were able to fit me in for a last min appointment, and thankfully they had a physician's assistant who was able to see me the next day. I had changed insurance due to a recent job change, so I was a bit apprehensive going to a different health care professional from my former primary care physician. But thankfully the process was pretty smooth. After having completed the extensive line of questioning posed to me during the initial phone appointment, they gave me a few pages to read and sign when I first arrived and I was good to go in fairly short order. They have a security guard in the front who asks you the standard COVID questions and has you use hand sanitizer, but I was a bit surprised there were not acrylic barriers protecting the receptionists and nurses behind the desk from incoming patients. Everyone I encountered during my visit was very friendly, and the PA took his time to listen to my concerns and addressed them accordingly. Parking is readily available for free in the lot outside. And overall the area felt pretty safe, clean, and spacious.

I called the Sutter number listed for this location from my car to let them know what was happening and they told me they'll let the office know and no problem. Sutter has a 15-min late policy which allows them to cancel your appointment if you're late. I walked in 14 minutes into my appointment time. After checking in and waiting to see the doctor, I was told that Dr.Wallace decided to cancel my appointment. I was shocked! I asked to speak to Dr. Wallace, but I was told she needed to leave early that day and was filling out paperwork. I waited to speak to the clinic manager and complained that my appointment should not be cancelled because a doctor wants to leave early on a Friday afternoon and that I was not technically late. She explained that I was late, because the checking in process took about 2-3 minutes. I had a time sensitive medical reason why I needed to see a PCP and waited weeks for that appointment. I was crying uncontrollably in the lobby and requested again to just speak to the doctor briefly, but she refused and did not care. It is a terrible feeling to deal with a medical problem and feel that no one is willing to help you. I cannot imagine that a doctor who treats any of her patients in this careless way can be an effective or empathetic caretaker. Obviously this clinic is pretty bad also from all the 1-star reviews.
