The receptionist couldnt' have been nicer but the specialist that I saw was clearly taken aback when I informed her that I had active Covid; I really can't hold it against her that she terminated the appointment. I haven't been able to dish the money out for new ones, so I have a pair of Hearing aids that were given to me by my father. He's 83 yrs old,veteran. Had this pair of Hearing aids that were sitting around for a year and not being used, issued to my father from the V.A. I was told over the phone it was no problem to bring them in and help me get them fixed so I could use them for myself. Im sure I am not the only person that has ever inherited Hearing aids from their veteran family members.....so waited 2 weeks for a appointment, when I arrived it was typical, polite at the desk, first time paper work etc....then the so called professional specialist that loves to help people...really didn't want to help me at all. Instead wanted to lecture me about taxes?? Really??starting saying that I basically shouldn't have these Hearing aids and they are the V.A.s property? Then starts to tell me she pays taxes and the Hearing aids should have been returned by my father if he wasn't using them. Really and that was going to help your tax break??? A pair of Hearing aids?? First of all we all pay taxes and my father definitely paid a tax for his service one way or another. The real issue was that someone like myself, randomly pick this place based off good reviews so I could walk in and get the help needed regardless of the story behind the Hearing aids or how I have them. I had a pair fixed before for me somewhere else, those were VA issued as well, no problems. Then there was lots of excuses why she couldn't fix them and different prices all over the map..so I'm sure they will help you possibly..but don't forget your taxes !! What a joke!! It took me an inordinate amount of time to finally get the aid into my ear. This year I'm waiting for an aid for my other ear. The appointment was September 14. I received a call the week before telling me that the aid had not been received and that I'd receive a call when it arrived. No call so far. I've met three audiologists who are thoroughly professional, pleasant and courteous, but the administrative staff is lacking basic business training. If you can find another source that you can afford, I recommend to looking into it.

I mentioned that's not on their website (or voicemail) that they aren't accepting new patients and the response was "we don't update it every day". Would have been nice to know if and when new patients are accepted. I reached out to a specialty office for a speciality service - based on their website/Yelp/Google that's what they offer. If I wanted to utilize Insurance through my Primary Care Doc that's the route I would have taken. I love supporting local businesses over huge corporations, and would have been happy paying out of pocket for services as it relates to my ear health. This will not be a local business I suggest working with.

When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted warmly, and I doubt I waited more than a few minutes to be taken into the exam room. From there my history and questions were answered, followed by comprehensive hearing testing, and I truly appreciate having the tests explained as they were administered. Results of those tests were also clearly and specifically presented to me, along with the options I had going forward, Needless to say, I was impressed. I left hearing so much better than when I first arrived, and I will definitely be back when the need arises. When he arrived, they got his ears cleaned out (he said he could hear in 3D when that was done) and did the molds to the specifications of the earplug company. They sent him home with the molds in the box ready to ship! We are very grateful for how well they handled this one-off request, and highly recommend them if you need molds taken!

The secretary was friendly and helpful, I particularly appreciated when I was asking here some technical questions about the type of material used in the molds ,the monitor manufacture was very specific in what they need,she didn't know and said so and then replied when she was sure so as not to waist my time. When I showed up for my appointment they were very friendly and helpful and I was out the door in 20min. I received my monitors a week ago and they fit perfect! If you need ANYTHING involving your hearing I strongly suggest going here. They really care about people and over profits. I would go to them again without a second hesitation.
