What a nice electrician! He gave me a basic quote to put in/fix my master bathroom GFI, and we made an appointment for the following week. I had a handyman that had tried to help me with this, but was unsuccessful. The electrician called in the morning to let me know he would arrive in 20 minutes, and he did! I now know more than I hopefully will ever need to know about GFI's. All very interesting and good to know electrical safety stuff. Definitely call an electrician, not a handyman. Interestingly, I had outlets that weren't working that I didn't even know about. They were all on the same string as the bathroom. So glad he took the time to check everything out. I am super happy with my garage NEMA 14-50 installation for EV charging. I messaged Heath Electric for a quote and they gave me a very quick response, I am happy I was able to just send them pictures of my panel and location of where I want the installation instead of wasting their time by having them drive out to me for a quote. Not sure what to say here. I can probably count on one hand when so-called professionals have let me down in my lifetime. Yet here we go again? I received a quote for a job. My wife and I were very pleased because it was considerably less than larger electrical businesses and it was perfect for our budget. After a few days we went to contact the company to move forward but we were ghosted. Nobody answered phone calls or emails for five days. When they finally responded they stated they couldn't reissue the contract. In their defence they did state they had some sort of emergency. But why not state it will be a couple weeks or so to resume business? Not "we can't reissue your contract". My opinion, they underbid the contract and elected to bail instead of honoring it. Many thanks to Heath Electric LLC for getting our fire hazard of an outdoor electrical panel replaced on an icy cold day. His ability to work with and around crazy DIY garage wiring from previous owners was frankly amazing. He's patient with questions too. Chris was able to build our quote from pictures we sent and that quote was exactly what we paid. They took care of all the permits and scheduling with Nevada Energy. Our garage now has several properly installed new outlets, even one in the ceiling. We called Heath Electric when we first moved in and had a few minor but confusing power issues. I needed some electrical work done at my home. I had called a couple of electricians but no one had returned my phone calls. I called Heath Electric and Kris the owner answered. I didn't have to leave a message. I was able to schedule my appointment with him on the phone. On the day of the install, Kris showed up on time and completed his job in a timely manner. Kris placed a cloth on the ground around his work space to keep the area clean. Afterwards he cleaned up the area around him. The price was very reasonable for the work he did. I had a smoke detector that was not getting any power, and come to find out, there was a lose wire. Kris did not bill me for that service. I am very pleased with the quality of his work and prices.
