If you're a beginner, I think that's sufficient for a driver shot. They also have huge fencing on the sides so you be sure that your balls will never fly out of the range, but if it does it won't hit anything but trees and grass. The only downside is subset of the stalls have some light shading overhead. I would imagine they get little foot traffic during peak summer hours. The range has spacious ample parking and it has never been a problem. I think a bigger problem might be finding a stall during peak hours.

The ball dispenser uses an app, which you can preload to get bonus credit. I never had any issues with it. I also never had any other issues while practicing here. So I didn't have a reason to interact with any of the staff. There's plenty of parking, even when it's busy. If they put up more shade then it would've met all of my needs.

The course is in phenomenal condition, with beautifully maintained fairways, immaculate greens, and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean throughout the round. Watching the hang gliders soar overhead while you're playing makes the experience even more memorable. The South Course is definitely challenging, but that's part of what makes it so much fun. You can tell you're playing on a course that's hosted major championships, yet it's still a public course that anyone can experience. Every hole feels unique, and you'll find yourself stopping more than once just to take in the scenery. After the round, we ate at The Grill at Torrey Pines overlooking the course. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and relaxing on the patio with those incredible golf course views was the perfect way to end the day. The Grill at Torrey Pines is absolutely worth checking out if you're playing a round. (Wish I took more photos) Whether you're a serious golfer or just love visiting iconic courses, Torrey Pines is an unforgettable experience. However, when I checked my bank account, I noticed I was charged an additional $200 plus other unexpected charges. I also specifically requested a room with a great ocean view. The front desk assured me I would have an amazing view, but instead, I ended up looking at someone else's window and bushes. This was very disappointing and not what was promised. I called and spoke with someone who said they would look into it and call me back, but it has now been a month and I still have not heard anything. The lack of communication, inaccurate room expectations, and poor customer service have been extremely disappointing. This experience alone is enough that I would not return.

I was happy to get to learn the basics of golf, both on the course and through Jenn's Golf For Business etiquette class. Once I learned that it doesnt matter if you are a "good" golfer, as long as you follow rules of golf etiquette (like not slowing down the game or stepping in someone's "line"), you can still play with more advanced players for business or for fun! I learned so much in her one-day workshop and I look forward to working with Jenn to continue to improve and learn more about how to utilize golf for business!
