He said I was leaving a lot of power on the table and showed me how to utilize my wrists better. After the lesson I hit 15-20 balls and it finally clicked. The next day I went out on the course and hit my 7-iron consistently 10% further than I did 25 years ago. All of my clubs hit 20-25% further the next day on the course. He showed me how to feel the swing in 2 minutes with one of his props and it changed my game for years to come. Initially I told him I was losing distance because of my age but he showed me that age can be compensated with technique. Thanks Brian.

If you're a beginner, I think that's sufficient for a driver shot. They also have huge fencing on the sides so you be sure that your balls will never fly out of the range, but if it does it won't hit anything but trees and grass. The only downside is subset of the stalls have some light shading overhead. I would imagine they get little foot traffic during peak summer hours. The range has spacious ample parking and it has never been a problem. I think a bigger problem might be finding a stall during peak hours.

The ball dispenser uses an app, which you can preload to get bonus credit. I never had any issues with it. I also never had any other issues while practicing here. So I didn't have a reason to interact with any of the staff. There's plenty of parking, even when it's busy. If they put up more shade then it would've met all of my needs.

The front desk assured me I would have an amazing view, but instead, I ended up looking at someone else's window and bushes. This was very disappointing and not what was promised. I called and spoke with someone who said they would look into it and call me back, but it has now been a month and I still have not heard anything. The lack of communication, inaccurate room expectations, and poor customer service have been extremely disappointing. This experience alone is enough that I would not return.

No management of the practice area from the staff. I wanted to putt some balls, but people took it over with their kids. Again, no management from the staff. I will never come back here and you shouldn't either.

Something to note is that there is only one park, so big dogs are combined with small ones. Theres a small obstacle course for dogs to jump and run through. And for the humans, there's also a few benches on the side to sit at.

This is more based on the dog park that's on the same lot as the Children's Park. This one uses…read moreturf, which i find has it's benefits on the days after a rainstorm since it doesn't get muddy. There are four big pine trees with separate retaining walls around three of them for owners to sit down. With it being so close to the bay, there's often a nice breeze that goes through the park. There's no divide between small dogs and big dogs, so it's best to just keep an eye on your dog, and many owners around here are usually respectful. The street parking immediately adjacent to the park is free, however, it has a limit of 30 minutes, and the parking meter workers are strict on it if they're around. I bring my dog here around lunch time because those who live/ work in the area tend to bring their dogs during their break time and my dog gets his socialization time. They close 8am-11am MWF for maintenance/ cleaning. Currently, both gates are broken so it's not as secure as it should be, and who knows when the city will actually fix it. There're a few agility structures and a water dispenser. The children's park itself looks pretty cool for kids with a lot of structures with slides and swings. There's also another separate area with fixed exercise equipment that looks well- maintained. The water feature in the park is a water feature, not a pool.

I'd recommend Golf Upgrades to any and everyone looking to improve their golf game, from beginners to those with much more experience. I came into my lessons with little to no prior experience golfing, and my first swings felt awkward and complex. After only one lesson I was hitting much more naturally and beginning to feel comfortable on the course. The difference between my first and second lessons was equally astounding - the amount I had improved in such a short time was evident and I was beginning to really have fun hitting. As far as the instruction, it was obvious from the very beginning that Jacob was both extremely knowledgeable about the game as well as passionate about helping others to get to their best. He uses unique drills combined with analytics technology to focus on problem areas, showing you exactly where you should be focusing your improvements on and then giving you a specific drill to get you there. After every lesson he sent a video showing myself next to a professional golfer, going in-depth and slow motion to show exactly what I needed to work on. Jacob Williams is hands down the best golf instructor I have ever worked with. I'm pretty new to the game so I was honestly intimidated going to the range. I had worked with a few instructors at the course in Sorrento but I never felt like I was having a good time or getting really solid advice. I decided to try out Jacob since I had friends that had a great experience with him. If anything, they understated his genius. He actually records my swings on a high tech slow motion capture device so you can make extremely specific biomechanical adjustments. Jacob was exceptional! I haven't picked up a golf club in 20 years and felt pretty intimidated, but he made me feel super comfortable and gave tips that were easy to execute and made a huge difference. He is very thorough and gets to know your current set up and what you like in putters so he can best fit based on your stroke. He remembered our other meetings and knew about the putters that I had previously ordered. He offered advice on how we could fix the putters I already had to make them even better and get fitted for one of their newer models. I would highly recommend not only the experience of getting fitted but the putters themselves are top-notch. I am spreading the word all I can. I don't think people realize how important it is to get fitted for the putter. It is the one club you use the most!

So many data points and found one that fit well! We all have had driver and iron fittings, yet never in 30 years did I consider a putter fitting. As Alan pointed out, it's the only club you use on every hole. Do this for your own good! Worth every dollar for a 90 min fitting!

This is a solid exec golf course in North County. There are three 9 hole course here and you play 2…read moreof three with a tee time. North, south, east. Majority of holes are par 3 and there are a few par 4s. You can play the whole course without a driver. Course maintenance is OK for the price. There are some holes are very muddy with crazy divots everywhere in the tee box. Greens are mostly well maintained. There are some holes that have houses here that are easy to hit with a wayward tee shot so be careful as the owners can get angry and confrontational. On the last tee time we were blamed for the group in front of us hitting an errant tee shot.
