We had a few things left to clean before moving out of our rental. She came to the house, and assured me she could get it done. She called me the day of, a day before our landlord was going to do a walk through and cancelled on me because she woke up and said she felt like a sore throat was coming on. I had to finish the cleaning by myself with my two young kids in the house. To say I was pretty upset was an understatement. Cancelling the day before because she had a sore throat when she knew (and assured me numerous times) we we're on a time crunch. Pretty unprofessional. Please use caution when hiring her. Maria was truly Heaven Sent! The price was a little more than I was expecting. $300 for 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus kitchen and living room, no carpet cleaning. But she was so great! When I politely attempted to confirm whether her quote could be more or less than $150 after she had viewed my apartment for an estimate, Maria responded with: "if you feel $150 is too much, best to find another company to do it for less. Crappy experience. She ignored me for two weeks of scheduled cleaning, finally texting me the night before she was supposed to come that she was quitting. Wtf! I asked her if she wanted a raised rate (a rate she set herself!). No response. Really left me in a lurch with company coming, when she could have let me know weeks sooner if it wasn't working out for her. Initially gave her 5 stars bc the first time she cleaned she really hinted to leave glowing review if we wanted to come back. Cleaning itself overall meh. She really emphasized we needed to "tidy up" before she came, which was stressful and defeated point of cleaning service. I saw her put a dirty bath mat on top of my sterile eye contact stuff and toothbrushes. Who knows when I wasn't here. Had to throw that stuff out afterwards.
