I have lived in Montebello for a long time and I have never been into Heavenly Choice until Saturday, February 11th, 2012. That was a big mistake to never go in! My friend reccomended that I go see Denise there to get my flowers for my Valentine. I walked in and found a really neat store with lots and lots of great gifts. Betty Page to Betty Boop they have it all. I ordered a dozen red roses to be delivered to LAC+USC Medical Center where my Valentine works and I included some candy that I purchased at another store. Denise researched where she needed to go and my flowers and candy were delivered on Valentines Day no problem at all. I will be going back there for future gifts and flowers. read more

I always have a great experience shopping here. Denise and her employees are very helpful and friendly. They have cute stuff here and it's a perfect spot to shop for a quick gift. If you know people who are Betty Boop or Lucille Ball fans, you can't go wrong with this place. They also carry Ben Nye makeup. This spot is a regular for me, I've never had a bad experience. Avoid this place at all cost. The store is dirty, small, and unkept. I waited for around 10 minutes for someone to help me. When someone finally arrived to help me, she told me it would cost $30 to fill a shark ballon I had brought in with me. She made up some kind of story that helium is really expensive, and she had to charge $20 to $30 dollars. I thanked her and left the store. I drove down to the party city and the girl charged me $1.99 to fill up my ballon. I will never shop at heavenly choice, EVER! Poor customer service and a dirty store leaves a lot to be desired. Steer clear of this store. read more

I'm so dissatisfied with their customer service that I'm sitting in their parking lot writing this review. Initially I went in to buy some face paints for an event. We ended up not using them, and I called the store ahead of time to do an exchange. The lady on the other end said I could do an exchange, but no returns. Totally fine, I needed two different colors for a football game. I went into the store, found the two colors I needed and went up to the register to do the exchange. The lady called the store owner to discuss the exchange and something with the register, and then the owner told her they don't do exchanges on cream based paints bc they could have been left in the car. It was CLEAR these were not left in the car. No beads of sweat, no runny paint, no distortion, nothing. They were also unused. The lady got off the phone and apologetically said she was wrong about the exchange and couldn't do it. Since I had absolutely no need for the colors I originally bought, I left them there, which they'll probably resell. Keep an eye out, it's a gold colored Ben nye cream based pot and then a TESTER, yes tester paint they sold me in a neutral skin tone. What horrible customer service. If you are wrong, you should make an exception. But the owner was clearly uncaring about it as I could hear her on the phone saying "why does she want to change the colors? What's the problem?" Obviously this lady doesn't care about lasting impressions on customers. Now I'm out $18 and will be taking my business elsewhere. Some people don't get simple customer service business models. Clearly Heavenly Choice (whatever their name means), doesn't. read more

Came in today looking for Mehron face paints. I was so amazed at the amount of knowledge the store owner has about face paint makeup. She really helped me and gave me a lot of great tips. She also sells Ben nye products, which is what I bought for face paint. If you are in need of great face paint and someone to teach you how to apply it this is the place to go! She also gives FREE make up classes on how to face paint and latex! I don't know of any places like this in the San Gabriel Valley, it's seriously a hidden gem. Heavenly Choice came up as a distributor of this particular brands make-up. I decided to stop by and see if they had what I was looking for. They had a few different options of what I needed. We were planning a 1st and only Grand Reunion for Maryknoll Grammar School for 500 guests at Quiet Cannon and needed floral arrangements for 50 tables. Denise gave us expert advice taking into account our Asian heritage. Orchids were provided, and Denise procured a variety of lovely greens and eye-catching (but not garish) containers that looked like intricately painted ceramic vases. Denise' design samples were both creative and beautifully elegant. Her team assembled identical arrangements and delivered them without a hitch. We had high expectations based on what Denise had told us from day one, and she exceeded them from a standpoint of beauty and value. The floral arrangements were a hit. I remember coming to this store since 1998 to buy my I LOVE LUCY collectibles and other goodies. It had been awhile since I have been here but I recommend this store. If you are having a Bachelorette Party this is the place to come for your Party supplies or even just for a special night with your love one, they have some GREAT items. I see some of the complaints writing but all the good comments are hidden which is unfair to this location. You need to stop by and judge it for yourself. The owner Denise is a nice women and is straight forward. She will not sell you anything that can be harmful for you and is totally honest which I LOVED. She does makeup classes during Halloween and throughout the year which I recommend especially since most are free. My daughter had her Zombie makeup and costume done here this year by Denise for a reasonable price of $40 + tax which I have posted photos and I think it was totally worth the money and smile on my daughter face (SHE LOVED IT, THANK YOU DENISE!) her friends at school were scared of her.
